Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 4/7/2020

Good morning Heavenly Father. Dear Lord, we don’t believe in accidents for everything has a purpose as you prepare your beloved children for the dark days ahead. We have seen that so much in our own pilgrimage and each time we see it, we taste a little more of your glory in the Spirit. As we approach the darkest day in history where the death angel descended from heaven and slew the Egyptians, we are now being told that next few days could be one of the darkest days in American history where the coronavirus, a plague sent from heaven, could see its greatest number of deaths as it reaches its apex. As we are hunkered down in our homes, we pray that this plague sent from heaven will open the eyes of an unbelieving world and drive them to the foot of the Cross. We pray that all of your beloved children will use these next few days to do a self-examination bringing to their minds any and all of their sins that need to be repented of in sackcloth and ashes. Let this be a great time of National repentance that will shake the whole world for Christ. We pray this in the glorious Name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Amen

“That ye shall say, It is the sacrifice of the LORD’S passover, who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt, when he smote the Egyptians, and delivered our houses. And the people bowed the head and worshipped” (Exodus 12:27).

PRAYERS FOR THE LAST WEEK,  IN CASE YOU MISSED ONE

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 4/6/2020

Good morning Heavenly Father. We come humbly into your presence today seeking your advice and direction in our conversations with your wayward children and fallen humanity. We realize, Oh Lord, that conspiracy theories and false prophecies are nothing new, for they have been with us since the beginning of time. They have always held people in bondage by believing the lie. We pray Father that you will help us, especially during these days, to stay focused only on the truth and not be carried away by another new conspiracy theory circulating the planet via the internet. We pray that you will give us the words to speak or sing, and the images to use in our videos, to help all people focus only on the truth about your death and resurrection that gives them a new life in Christ through faith. Truly that is the only thing that will set them free. Your magnificent truth is the only thing that will set them free in a world that’s moving rapidly to becoming totally in bondage to the enemy or the coming Antichrist and his many lies. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:32).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 4/5/2020

Good morning Heavenly Father. On this Lord’s Day, we come humbly before you with thanksgiving in our hearts. Contrary to what’s going on in the world and all around us, we feel that it’s a great privilege to come into your presence through the indwelling Spirit. Although we are worshiping you alone in the Spirit today, we believe and feel that we are joining a great chorus of worshippers in heaven and throughout the entire universe. We can hear the bells of heaven and the wonderful chorus in our hearts! For indeed you are worthy of our worship even as your plagues and woes fall upon the world to lead people to repentance. Although not everyone will repent, we do know and rejoice that everyone will bow their knee before you, recognizing You, as the one true Savior of humanity. We pray, Oh Lord, that you will magnify our words with great power to reach the hearts of fallen humanity bringing forth great conviction to their wayward souls. What joy it will be to welcome them into your Kingdom as they confess that you are God. We pray this in the powerful Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 4/4/2020

Good morning Heavenly Father. Well, this isolation from physical contact with family and friends, with a sudden pull back from friends on social media, is beginning to have an effect on the best of us. Although schedules have been skewed and sleeping is more erratic, our love and trust in you has grown stronger than ever. Oh Lord, we are deeply concerned for many in the world who have allowed fear of the unknown and the pressures of aloneness to drive them into the darkness. We have noticed as of late, especially on social media, people venturing into areas that should not be entered by Your beloved children. The old devil has laid many traps for them to draw them away from your loving presence and complete trust in You. Instead of accepting what’s happening in the world as your plagues and woes upon fallen humanity for their rejection of you, they are captured by the many false prophets and charlatans spouting their different conspiracy theories to falsely explain what’s happening in the world. Open their eyes, dear Lord, to the truth before it’s too late. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you” (1Peter 4:12, ESV).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 4/3/2020

Good morning Heavenly Father. Every morning of every day we approach the throne of grace with nearly the same questions, what should we do today to accomplish your will, what should we study today, and what should we pray about? We don’t proceed very far in our day before we start thinking about you LORD and seeking to draw close to you in the Spirit. We continue until we feel your presence and the tremendous joy of our salvation welling up in us where every fiber of our being feels alive as if a strong electrical current is passing through our entire body. All we feel is love! Suddenly all the hate and gross immorality in the world fades away. Praise God! Now, we feel ready to offer up our prayers. Our hearts are overwhelmed this morning that so many of your children are being so easily led astray by every passing false prophet or charlatan spouting their outrageous lies wrapped up neatly in Holy Scripture to lead them astray. We cry out to you today and ask that you open their eyes and draw them back to you teaching them through the indwelling Spirit to ONLY stand on your truth. Help them to reject the lies spawned by the conspiracy theorist and charlatans. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“And I saw, coming out of the mouth of the dragon and out of the mouth of the beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet, three unclean spirits like frogs” (Revelation 16:13, ESV).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 4/2/2020

Good morning Heavenly Father. We have seen the great apostasy coming for some time now that deeply saddens us. We see so many believers, as nothing more than little children, being swept away by every news story, false prophecy, or scrupulous teaching engineered and directed by the powers of darkness. They have not studied, prayed, and grappled long on the difficult doctrines of our faith, so they are easily carried away and put into bondage by the evil one. We pray, Oh Lord, for all of your beloved children to grapple long and hard on the true doctrines of our faith so that they can discern the many false doctrines and outrageous hoaxes. We pray that you open their eyes to the most dangerous hoaxes that have taken your people hostage by saying, that we will escape what’s coming upon the world to believing that the coronavirus is just a hoax. We know the powers of discernment only rest with those who have used it constantly to distinguish good from evil; what’s good for our spiritual growth and from those teachings that leave us in bondage.  We pray this in the Blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“But solid food is for the mature, for those who have their powers of discernment trained by constant practice to distinguish good from evil” (Hebrews 5:14, ESV).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 4/1/2020

Good morning Heavenly Father. As we approach these dark days ahead, we pray that we will not be stopped by what others think. We pray that we will test our work not on what others think but on our own self-examination based on your infallible Word. Let us find our joy in what you think about our service and not in the praises of men. We pray that you will guide all of your beloved children on how to properly test their own work by looking at their motive, the infallible truth in your Word, and the promptings or inner voice of the indwelling Spirit. Lead us to test our own work in how it opens the eyes of the unbeliever and how it moves your wayward children to walk closer to you. Lead us to test our own work in that our counsel will not bring greater confusion but will help others to see the path ahead free from all of their emotional and psychological problems. Above all let us test our own work on what pleases you and not on what pleases the world. We pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“But let each one test his own work, and then his reason to boast will be in himself alone and not in his neighbor” (Galatians 6:4).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 3/31/2020

Good morning Heavenly Father. We pray, Oh Lord, that you will help us to truly bear with others as we should. You know our hearts, so you can see the great disappointment we have with some people, especially those who claim to be mature believers. What has caused them to change? Some have pulled back while many others have appeared to go off on a tangent chasing after one false prophecy after another. Help us, dear Lord, to bear with all people. We feel that this mandated isolation may have precipitated some of the problems, but we also feel in our spirit that it must be much more than just the isolation. What is closing their eyes to the simple truth that we are left behind not to spend all of our time trying to interpret the times, but we are left here to open the eyes of others and show them the path to a new life in Christ? Help us to bear with one another while we try desperately to get them back on the right track. Help us to only live for others. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ” (Galatians 6:2).
