Subject: “Speaking the truth is your delight”

Good morning Heavenly Father. We pray, Oh Lord, for your beloved children today who are living in the midst of the falling away. Not only are they confronted with great political divisions in the world, but they are also witnessing a division among those who claim to know you as Lord. This division is articulated by lying lips as many ventures further away from the truth. We pray that they would realize that exaggeration or withholding information is still a lie and an abomination to you. Please, Oh Lord, impress upon all your children to be completely truthful in everything they say, knowing that you are observing all their actions and will hold them accountable. Impress upon them that they will reap the full consequences of their unrighteousness. We are not unaware of your absolute hatred of lying lips. On the other hand, we have experienced that speaking only the truth, even when we could have been put into a compromising situation, is truly your delight allowing you to bring forth a treasure trove of blessings and working out everything to the good. Praise God! We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Lying lips are abomination to the LORD: but they that deal truly are his delight” (Proverbs 12:22).

Subject: “Staying on the narrow way”

Good morning Heavenly Father. We have redeemed the time as you have instructed us to do in Your Word. Help us, Oh Lord, not to use that time in foolish endeavors. We pray that you will help us, lead us, to allocate that redeemed time wisely. So, before we rush ahead on the next ministry project or frivolous activity let us pause before your throne in prayer and meditation being careful not to miss any opportunities that you would avail to us in the Spirit. Day by day we seek your guidance in all that we do from morning till night. Every moment is precious in your sight. As the fallen world tugs on us to follow their lead, help us to turn a blind eye or a deaf ear to their enticements, being careful to stay the course that you have laid out for us. Help us, Oh Lord, to stay on the narrow path of building face to face relationships in all holiness and righteousness. What tremendous joy it is to understand the true meaning of life in serving others, allowing you to love others through us. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it” (Matthew 7:14).

Subject: “Free at last to love one another”

Good morning Heavenly Father. “Free at last!” Free from the restraints of the devil and the world. Although I rejoice in my own freedom, I am still deeply saddened that so many of your children are still in bondage to the devil and this world. Perhaps the saddest part is they don’t realize that they are in bondage being led around by the nose. Thank you, Lord, for showing us that bondage can be measured and determined by how much time is attributed to an activity. Let us carefully measure how much time is spent on the different things we do throughout the day. Are we scrolling, liking, commenting, or are we faithfully helping others to overcome their many bondages in life by accepting your beautiful truth? Help your children to get back to face to face encounters which allows them to observe one’s body language, to determine the depth of their struggles, and the vastness of their chains. We are always amazed at the tremendous amount of Scripture text in our Bibles giving us specific instructions on how to help and love one another. Unfortunately, most of this blessed information cannot and is not being used in our interactions on social media.  Help your beloved children to rediscover the importance of face-to-face relationships. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another” (John 13:34).

 Subject: “Overcomers”

Good morning Heavenly Father. Oh Lord, as the world rushes toward the end we are seeing the increase in greater tribulations as people’s hearts cry out in fear. They have found a great many things in which to put their trust. Unfortunately, many of the things that they put their trust in, such as, psychology and psychotherapy are very deceptive and will destroy any hope of living the transformed life in Christ. They put their trust in things that will surely fail them. We pray that all of your beloved children will learn to put their trust in you alone for indeed you have overcome the world. It is in you alone that we find great peace even in the midst of our greatest trials and tribulations. As the world trembles in fear crying forth like a wounded child, our hearts are saddened for their misguided trust. On the other hand, our eyes see beyond the pain and suffering to the joys of our heavenly home where every tear will be wiped from our eyes, and even the struggles with the old sin nature will no longer exist. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world” (John 16:33).

 Subject: “Nothing done in secret”

Good morning Heavenly Father. We come humbly before the throne of grace this morning asking that you confirm to us what has been revealed not by dreams or visions but simply by seeing what’s there for everyone to see if they have eyes to see. Through a course of unrelated events, we have witnessed you working in the world to bring the time of the Gentiles to a conclusion so that you can open the eyes of your people concerning those things to come shortly. As your beloved children, we never wish to run ahead of you or lag behind, so we ask that you confirm to us when we should go public with what you have so purposely revealed to us; what has so tremendously shocked us. We know to move ahead takes a great deal of faith believing that your children will be ready for your next great move in the life of all humanity. We also know that you have never done anything major without first revealing it to your servants, so we will soon step out in faith and follow your lead. We pray this in the mighty Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets” (Amos 3:7).

 Subject: “The unseen war”

Good morning Heavenly Father. Oh Lord, as we enter our prayer closet today, we see your people in such disarray, one being pulled in one direction and then another. What’s most unsettling is to see so many being overcome by the powers of this evil world, all the while thinking that they are okay. So many are being swept up in new-age techniques, such as transcendental meditation, that they have so easily integrated into their Christianity because they have not trusted in you alone to transform their lives. So many others are being overcome by the techniques of this fallen world, such as psychology or psychotherapy, to help them with their many problems because they have not trusted in you alone to transform their lives into a beautiful new creation. While many others are swept away by doubting your abilities. Yes, Lord, the battle is being waged against your saints without a shot being fired and many are being overcome. We pray that all of your beloved children will learn to trust in you alone to give them everything they need for life and godliness. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations” (Revelation 13:7).

 Subject: “The Spirit of Truth”

Good morning Heavenly Father. Oh Lord, how difficult it would be to start the day without hearing your voice that fills every fiber of our being. To know your thoughts is so different and so reassuring from the confusing chatter in the world, going in one direction then another. You know we are living in a time when they are giving prominence to the lies, allowing everyone to spew their misinformation from the political arena to the entertainment industry, and from the News Media to social media. What a travesty! Thank you, Father, for giving us the Spirit of truth to guide us into all truth. We pray that all your beloved children would not be so eager to accept every fine-sounding argument or supposed truth without first bringing it to the Spirit of truth for clarification or confirmation. Please lead your children not to seek truth in all the wrong places such as asking open-ended questions on social media that will bring forth many lies from the pits of hell. Lead them to come to you alone through the Indwelling Spirit and your anointed words in the Bible. If they must confirm it with others, let them seek out only mature believers in Christ. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come” (John 16:13).

Subject: “Come out from among them”

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you, Lord, for being with us every step of the way to fight against the vain imaginations and the evil thoughts that almost always come unexpectedly. Although at times they may be a great struggle for your precious children, it’s also our assurance that we belong to you when we are successful in the fight. Thank you, Father, for teaching us through your anointed Word and the indwelling Spirit how to wage war successfully against the enemy. We pray that you will continue to teach these valuable lessons to your children, that as believers we have the power to say no to the temptations and that we have power to cast out the vain imagination or evil thoughts from our minds in the blink of an eye. We thank you Lord that you have shown us how much easier it is, in our fight against evil, to simply come out from among them, even if it must include close friends or family. Oh, what joy it is to be victorious against the enemy, then set down at the feet of our LORD to participate in the divine nature. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually” (Genesis 6:5).
