Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you, LORD, for your wonderful forgiveness that has delivered us from the destructive power of past sins and the agony of accompanying guilt. The glorious forgiveness that has broken down the barrier giving us full access to you, through the Spirit with all the privileges of our new life in Christ. Yet, you have shown us that our unwillingness to truly forgive others can disrupt all this allowing us once again to feel the agony of guilt, the destructive power of sin, and a broken relationship with you. A severed relationship that causes us to rest under the power of the evil one with his host of diseases, emotional and psychological problems. This all because we have withheld our forgiveness to others. We pray for all thy beloved children to truly learn how to forgive others as you have forgiven us by casting the other persons sins completely out of their memories. You have taught us, Oh Lord that this is possible if we learn the three principles of true forgiveness. We pray this in the loving and compassionate Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses” (Matthew 6:15).

Good morning Heavenly Father. We know Oh LORD that your coming is close, but how close we cannot say. For you have told us clearly that no one knows the day or the hour. Father you have seen the frenzied behavior of many in our day believing that your coming can come at any minute. We have had false prophets and false Christ from the beginning unsettling many. We thank you LORD that you have made it clear that your coming will be in the clouds of the sky with great power and glory and in another place that every eye shall see you. There is NOTHING secret about this coming. So we pray that you will open the eyes of thy beloved children to see this beautiful truth from thy Holy Word and stop unsettling the weak minded with some supposed secret rapture. For the catching away (rapture) is for sure, but at your glorious coming when every eye shall see. Oh Lord, there is so much work to be done on earth without arguing over such a moot point that is so clearly spelled out in your Word, the Bible. We pray this in the most holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen” (Revelation 1:7).

Good morning Heavenly Father. When the heart and the mind disagree it can cause a great deal of distress. Weighing the pros and cons, doing our intellectual research, and thinking things through don’t always solve our problem and bring an agreement between the heart and the mind. The desires of the heart can be very strong fighting against our best logic. Who can deliver us from such distress that causing us so much stress. As the world’s counselors line up to give us their remedy, we discovered long ago there is a better solution. There is something that calms the storm of confusion, conflict and indecision. There is something that the world knows nothing about. In our distress we can cry out to the LORD and He hears our cry. The intellect doesn’t have the last word. Our emotions will not rule the day. No it is the voice of God that brings peace and direction to our troubled souls. Praise God. We happily pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“A Song of degrees. In my distress I cried unto the LORD, and he heard me” (Psalms 120:1).

Good morning Heavenly Father. Open the hearts and minds of all thy beloved children today showing them how we should look upon a world full of lies, deception, and con men seeking our ultimate destruction. Wolves, sheep, serpents, and doves should illustrate our place in a world of hostility against the one true God. Help us dear Lord to be submissive to You alone, wise toward outsiders, and harmless to all. Above all, help us to recognize the wolf in sheep’s clothing who is always pridefully speaking of his great accomplishments. Help us to always look beyond the warm embrace, the flattering words, and the grandiose promises. In wisdom lead us to be cautious, always praying for discernment, looking for Spiritual fruit, and waiting for the fulfillment of every promise. Give us wisdom, Oh Lord to see that the enemy often sows some good in with the bad to make it more palatable for our taste. Help all thy children to strive for holiness with no mixture of evil. We pray this in the most holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves” (Matthew 10:16).

Good morning Heavenly Father. No matter what happens in the world. No matter how bad it gets. Every morning is good when we can come quietly into your presence. Praise God. At times the world seems like it’s on the brink of great peace or on the precipice of world war. At times humanity appears to be making great strides toward combating the evils of society and at other times we see so much gross immorality uncovered spilling it into the street of our cities. The world is a constant flux of change and unfettered confusion. We have discovered Oh Lord that you are the only constant in the universe that never changes. Praise God. That you have always been holy and righteous from the beginning of time and will remain so long after the heavens and the earth have been destroyed. We pray that no matter what happens in the world we will continue to strive for both personal and social righteousness. To no longer waiver between the good and the evil. We pray this in the most holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever” (Hebrews 13:8).

Good morning Heavenly Father. We all have our one favorite verse of Scripture or that one beatitude that’s been very special to each of us since the beginning of our pilgrimage. One that is the very compass of our life, always keeping us on course during the roughest waters, giving us hope and a sense of direction. We pray today, Oh Lord that we stay on course to our original calling. To remember the great desire that you originally put in each of our hearts. A desire to be like our Savior, our risen Lord. A desire to be made into your perfect image free from all the sin and corruption in this fallen world. We know that our desire to be holy and righteous has come from you. A desire so strong it’s like being famished for just one small morsel of food or drink. Thank you, Lord, for giving us our true food to fill the desires of our heart. Looking back on our lives we know that you have been at work growing us from one degree of glory to another allowing us to be filled with your righteousness. Praise God! We pray this in the glorious Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled” (Matthew 5:6).
