Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 4/24/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. As we meditate in our prayer closest today we know in our spirit that there is this tremendous pull within the hearts of humanity to find something greater than themselves. Something outside themselves to solve all their problems. To unite the entire human race together as one. We have seen many examples of this not unlike the ancient story of the Tower of Babel. There is an incredible desire to find intelligent life in the universe, but it will not fulfill their longing for a god to rule over them making everything alright. There is an unbelievable desire to construct artificial intelligence (AI), but it will not fulfill their longing for a god to rule over them making everything better. It breaks our heart that they cannot accept the One true God that’s been here all the time. We pray that you open the eyes of all humanity so that they can see that there is no other God but You. A God that has made Himself close through the indwelling Holy Spirit. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me” (Isaiah 45:5).

Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Help us to never forget to honor and respect your Holy Name. In both our conversations and in our thoughts. We believe that most Christians can sense the increase in the demonic influence felt so strong among the world’s population. While some are thinking about the end of the world today along with the rapture of your saints, we believe most are just concerned about the increase in evil and the pollution of our home, planet Earth. We pray that every hour of every day that we guard our thoughts ready to cast out all thoughts that would not be pleasing to thy most Holy Name. We pray that all our conversations vocally and in writing stay focused on what’s holy and righteous being careful not to allow the enemy to interject his lies through false prophecy. Help all thy beloved children to remember the truth of thy Holy Word and not be so easily led astray by fables and prophets of doom. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God” (II Thessalonians 2:3-4).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 4/22/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. Oh Lord, we cry out to you with great pain and anguish for what’s happening in our corner of the world. It’s like the world has gone crazy! When a young father holding his child in his lap at dinner is stabbed in the throat and when a half nude man this morning walks into another restaurant and kills four people. We could go and on with all that’s been happening, but you already know the problem. We go forth every day as a weeping farmer spreading your precious seed with much falling on deaf ears and hearts in captivity to the enemy. We pray Father that some of your precious seed take root in the hearts of men, women and children so that they can escape the captivity to their many emotional and psychological problems caused by the rejection of your blessed truth. Oh Lord, let them receive your Word and not the lies of the devil. Let them experience the new life that you freely offer to all that believe. Although we are weeping and crying now for the world we know in time we will reap in great joy as new converts break off the shackles of the enemy and allow your mighty Word to sprout forth within their tender hearts. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“They that sow in tears shall reap in joy” (Psalms 126:5).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 4/21/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. As we approach your throne of grace our hearts are so grieved this morning. We are so grieved at how old age and disease have disfigured and robbed so many of your beautiful children of their minds. Yet we are more grieved that so many of your beloved children have exchanged their beautiful spirits for the ugly embrace of sin. We plead with you dear Lord to open their eyes and let them see what they are doing. Let them see that their continued desire to look upon the sins of this world has caused them to grow insensitive to the sin. The more they gaze upon it the more insensitive they become. This is proven at how many times they have shared the ugliness of sin on their social media with the excuse that people need to know. Open their eyes and let them see, Oh Lord, that we already know. We don’t need to see it and hear it again and again. Oh, how we long for the beauty and purity of heaven. We pray this in the most Holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy” (I Peter 1:15-16).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 4/20/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. With the many things to do and decisions to be made today, we desire most to be with you. To feel your presence. To hear your words in our spirit. So, we as your beloved children put everything to the side forcing ourselves not to think about it. Not to think about anything but to be in your loving presence. As we seek you today and every day with an undivided heart we always have the confidence that you will be there. We always call upon thee, with a soft voice not by yelling, first desiring thy presence before we start telling you our concerns or the intercession for others. Without your presence then our prayers are only stuck within ourselves. Thank you, Father, for your beautiful promise that when we seek you with ALL our heart then you will be here, and our prayers will take on a whole new shape. For then we shall truly pray as we should. The hidden crevices of our hearts will be exposed to thy Spirit always giving us what we need to communicate with you properly. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart” (Jeremiah 29:12-13).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 4/19/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. We come humbly before you today with grievous hearts for our brothers and sisters who have fallen down. Who are at the ends of their proverbial rope. Who have cried out to us for help. Before we rush in attempting to solve all their problems becoming their knight in shining armor, we feel compelled to let you lead in the matter. Give us, wisdom dear Lord to know how to proceed. To ask you first what’s best for their tragic circumstances. We know ultimately, they may need a stronger relationship with you. That they may need to repent of a great many things. We don’t want to circumvent the circumstances as if they never existed. Nor do we want to necessarily follow their lead making their circumstances comfortable, but we do want to follow your lead and do what is best for them. So, each of us lift our fallen brothers and sisters up to you asking that you guide us in making the right decisions for their benefit and not ours. We stand ready to serve you by serving others. We pray this in the gracious and loving Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labor of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister” (Hebrews 6:10).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 4/18/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. The music from your presence floods our souls knowing that nothing can separate us from your love. Although we know at times Satan tries to flood our minds with ugly and unrighteous thoughts, we have it in our power to cast it out immediately with no harm to us. A mighty power that you haven given to each of your beloved children. When anxiety, depression, loneliness or any other emotional problems come knocking on the door of our heart we know that we have it within our power to turn it around immediately. Praise God! Nothing can separate us from your love and peace. A wonderful peace that defies understanding. When other problems arise from dealing with hateful or insensitive people to financial problems, we can take it in stride through the magnificent faith that you’ve given to us. From health problems to trials and tribulations we are convinced that nothing can separate us from your love. A love that always ministers to our soul. So, in our prayer today, we want to say, thank you. We love you too. We pray this in the powerful Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 8:38-39).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 4/17/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. As your beloved children we always want to please you above all things. You, Oh Lord have truly put that desire in each of our hearts. We pray that you will lead all of us to no longer walk in the darkness of this world following their news accounts and participating in their mean-spirited behavior. Lead us to always walk in the light of your glory as children of the light. Let thy Spirit within us produce its fruit of goodness, righteousness and truth. Thank you for teaching us that as children of light we must produce this spiritual fruit at all times where every action of ours is only good, righteous and of the truth. Let it be done, Oh Lord so that we can know what is acceptable. So, we can prove what pleases you in all that we do. Let us never be the spreader of darkness (evil stories of gossip and vulgarity) but only those things that consist of the light. We pray this in the most holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord” (Ephesians 5:8-10).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 4/16/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. As the clock ticks away, we are not any closer to formulating a prayer. We have been in the prayer closet for some time now where we can feel strongly what we should pray but find it most difficult to put into words. As many of our political and religious leaders in great pride are making a large splash upon the world scene we feel as though their impact is short lived as a boulder is dropped straightaway into a pond, leaving no lasting effect. On the other hand, we pray that your true servants with all humility continue to follow your lead by always giving you the glory in all we do becoming more like the small rock skipping across the pond making a larger effect on time and eternity. We pray that you will keep all your beloved children humble, quick to give you the honor and glory for our good works. Let us never run ahead of you trying to change the whole world in our own strength thereby giving the devil an opportunity. Let us never receive the glory that is due you. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven” (Matthew 5:16).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 4/15/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you, Lord, for showing us that every true believer in Christ has a tremendous desire to do your will. A true mark of Christianity in these last days when you separate the sheep from the goats. Deep within every believer there is the desire to live only for you. Not for the world. Not for our political affiliation. Not for our entertainment or our enjoyments, but for you. For the love of Christ constrains us to live our new life in service to you. We are on fire to do your will even if we look like a fool or mocked by the world. We do it mostly out of our love for you and partly knowing that to do your will, will allow us to see everything work together for good. Either way we always feel led or constrained to do your will and a longing to be around others who have the same desire. Thank you, Lord, for separating the sheep from the goats and protecting us from the wolf. We pray this in the beloved Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead: And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again” (II Corinthians 5:14-15).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 4/14/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. As we enter our prayer closet today we are reminded that no matter how much your servants grow older or weaker physically they continue to grow stronger in every other way. Our minds are sharper, our emotions are controlled, and our spirit grows stronger day by day. What can we say about our joy, Oh Lord? We enjoy the simple things in life; the early mornings with you before the sun breaks through the clouds, the cool breeze as it drifts through the open windows and the memories of our walk together. Our spirits are renewed as we think of a favorite verse in your all sufficient Word that encourages our hearts and brings a melody to our souls. As the pagan world continues its decline crying evermore from the pain and agony of their tattered spirits caused by an array of emotional and psychological problems our spirits are renewed daily in you Oh LORD. Thank you, Lord, for renewing our spirits. We pray this in the most loving Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day” (II Corinthians 4:16).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 4/13/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. We can all see it coming from the exposure of corrupt politicians to fake news; from wars to rumors of war; and, from violent changes in the weather to an unbelievable quest for something beyond ourselves in artificial intelligence to the extraterrestrial. We pray that you would help all your beloved children to stay focused on what’s important and not chase after every false prophet most of them doing it to fleece the flock. We pray that all would spend their time and energy building relationships by loving one another deeply from the heart. Doing so by looking beyond the surface to the depth of their burdens, their struggles and their most cherished desires. Learning how to love one another with a pure and undivided heart. Loving one another with no ulterior motives. Allowing You to love others though us. We pray this is the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently” (I Peter 1:22).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 4/12/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. We pray, Oh LORD that you give your beloved children great discernment in these last days. Help them to discern the difference between reporting the news and being a talebearer or gossip. Help us all to see that the reporting of an historical event for our enlightenment and protection is way different than reporting the personal affairs of others for the purpose of slander. To uncover secrets from an untold source should be a red flag that real news has been exchanged for gossip, backbiting or slander. We pray that we as your children will never spread this so-called news among our friends by sharing on social media or face to face. If we must share lead us all only to share your truth on how to live holy in an unrighteous world. Give us ears, Oh Lord to hear what the Spirit says through the anointed Word. To spread only the truth and not the lies of the devil. We pray this in the most holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“He that goeth about as a talebearer revealeth secrets: therefore meddle not with him that flattereth with his lips” (Proverbs 20:19).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 4/11/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. You are the only constant in our lives. When others disappoint us, we know that you always have our best interest at heart. You have always upheld us with the right hand of your righteousness. You are there in the early mornings or late at night. You are always willing to meet with us at any time through the Spirit. You never leave us alone to face our pain and suffering. You never sleep. Thank you, LORD, for allowing us to cry out to you at any time day or night. We find great comfort in listening to you, feeling your presence to strengthen and help us to see things the way you do for we are not dismayed. You have given eyes to our hearts so that we can feel what you feel. So that we can participate in the divine nature. We find great comfort in knowing that you are also listening to us. Listening to the deep groaning of our hearts knowing how we truly feel. Discerning our problems and giving us solutions. Praise God. We pray this in the loving Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness” (Isaiah 41:10).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 4/10/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you, LORD, for reminding us of the great and precious promises given to us in faith at our calling. As the world gets even more evil and the pressure of Satan’s hold on the earth becomes stronger we must remember the promises. The promise to give us everything we need for life and godliness. The promise to make us into a new creation. The promise to allow us to participate in the divine nature. We pray especially hard for all thy beloved children to remember these great and precious promises. To resist the lies of the devil that teaches that the promises are not valid thereby leading the entire world into bondage to his counsel and drugs. We pray, Oh Lord that you give your faithful remnant great strength to stand against this lie by teaching the truth. We pray that once they taste the tremendous joy of participating in the divine nature that they will lead others to do the same through faith. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust” (II Peter 1:4).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 4/9/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. In all humility, not thinking of ourselves more importantly than we should, teach us how to bear the burden of others. When others struggle in a particular sin help us stay in the Spirit as we restore them with a gentle rebuke helping them to see the gravity of their trespass. Helping them to see that a man reaps what he sows. Helping them to see how a sin can cause them many and various problems including physical, emotional and psychological suffering. Thank you, Father, for impressing upon us to not use the cellphone in public places but to look up and make eye contact, ready to listen and make a difference in someone else’s life. Ready to bear the burden of others and thus fulfill the law of Christ. We pray that all thy beloved children would not use social media as an excuse for not interacting with others in the real world who desperately need your love. Who need deliverance from the sin that is destroying them. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ” (Galatians 6:2).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 4/8/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. We lay our lives before you today seeking your wisdom in all our decisions. We ask LORD that you reset our priorities putting you first in everything. Teach all thy beloved children how to fear you for the desire is there but the knowledge is lacking. The more we know you the more we fear you. A godly fear of wanting to please thee. The more we know you the more we love you. It is so sad that many who claim to be your children know the world more than they know you. They can quote everything going on in the world, but they can’t speak about what’s going on with You. We pray that we would all spend more time getting to know you instead of just knowing about you. As we meditate long upon thy Holy Word in the Spirit we pray that we will draw ever closer to you allowing you to give us wisdom for living in this world. Wisdom in all our relationships doing what’s best for you and what’s best for others. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding” (Proverbs 9:10).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 4/7/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you, LORD, for showing us a more excellent way. A way that can bind up old wounds. A way that can overlook past hurts and grievous insults. A way to strengthen relationships. Thank you, LORD, for teaching us the way of love that is greater than all the other gifts. We have all in times past sought the other gifts as supreme glorying in the fact that we were using our unique Spiritual gifts to build the kingdom of God. Even today most of thy beloved children see a greater value in the gift of prophecy than all the other gifts, while neglecting the higher gift of love. To bring true glory to you Oh Lord is to use whatever gifts that you have given us but to always make the gift of love paramount in our lives. For without true self-giving love all the other gifts are useless in bringing glory to your Name. We pray that you help us to always remember this truth and recognize the power of love. We pray this in the glorious Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way” (I Corinthians 12:31).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 4/6/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you, LORD, for teaching us how to pray. When nothing comes from the Spirit and heaven seems silent then we have not properly shut the door to our prayer closet. When the many problems generated by those around us continuously flood our mind then we have not properly shut the door to our prayer closet. When we allow the many distractions around us to interrupt our thoughts then we have not properly shut the door to our prayer closet. Once we have done so, allowing ourselves to be immersed in thy Spirit, then can we hear the voice from heaven. Then can we pray as we ought. Then instantly all our priorities change. We can see what’s really important and what we should pray about. Oh, what a tremendous blessing it is to pray to thee in secret and then receive our blessing openly. To feel thy loving presence putting our feet back on the right path in our Christian journey. We pray this in the most holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly” (Matthew 6:6).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 4/5/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. We are so grieved Father as we enter our prayer closet today. We see so many people who claim to be your children running ahead of you by saying things that they should not. Their pride has caused them to become blind proclaiming things from their own vain imagination. What breaks our hearts, Oh Lord is how this has unsettled so many, causing even more confusion among thy beloved children. We pray that all thy children will learn to keep in step with the Spirit and only speak what they are led to say. Any more than that comes from the devil. On the other hand, what a blessing it is to see others wait upon you in all humility before speaking allowing you to give eyesight to those once blind. Indeed, it is better to speak one word that’s the truth than a thousand words that’s a lie. Furthermore, to post a lie on Social Media is the same as speaking a lie. Thank you, Lord, for giving us eyesight by keeping in step with the Spirit. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind” (John 9:39).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 4/4/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. We cry out to you, Oh Lord, to deliver all your beloved children from their pain. Some caused by a debilitating disease or simply the agonizing pain of old age. We pray that you will deliver thy children from their tormentors or simply those who love to take advantage of our good heart. We pray that you will continue to strengthen our faith believing that no matter how bad it gets that you are here with us going through the same thing. Believing that one day soon you will return and right all wrongs. We know that you will come back in your time and not ours giving everyone a chance to repent of their many sins and their rebellious hearts. Although we know that your wrath from heaven is meant to open their eyes and not to destroy them, we believe that you will shield us from thy wrath using the trials and tribulations to strengthen our faith. Praise God. We pray this in the most holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? (Luke 18:7-8)
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 4/3/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. As we enter our prayer closet today we are nearly overwhelmed with your thoughts that are so much higher than ours. You have impressed upon us that everything is going according to thy plan. That we must stand back as your people did at the Red Sea to witness your great power. Thank you for teaching us anew that we must not run ahead of you or lag behind, but to always be ready to proclaim the powerful yet simple Gospel to all as you give us liberty. To speak it, to write it or sing it believing that even if it falls like the rain on rocky ground it will not return void. That it will have power to convert the hardest and vilest sinner. That it has power to convert the most devout person of another religion who seeks our destruction. We must believe that the proclamation of your pure Word from your mouth has great power. That it will not return void, but accomplish its goal to build your everlasting Kingdom. We pray this in the most powerful Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it” (Isaiah 55:11).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 4/2/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you, LORD, for your great and precious promises in the Bible given to all your children who have faith. Although we all may have a longing for your promises to be fulfilled in our lives, we must also sincerely seek the promises in faith. From the very beginning of our walk many, if not most, have sought the promise to become righteous in a very unrighteous world. To put feet to this desire we pray that you will help us to be much more selective on what we gaze upon, what we view on videos and what we read. With information coming at us at the speed of light on 24-hour news, a proliferation of new videos and the timeline on social media it has made it most difficult for thy children. We pray that they would spend more time reading, watching and studying the truth from thy Holy Word and less time chasing the latest stories and gossip coming at them from the world. Let us all strive for righteousness so that we might be filled. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled” (Matthew 5:6).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 4/1/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. As the entire Christian world arises early this morning to remember together the sightings of our Savior Jesus Christ made alive from the grave by the hand of God we experience anew the joy of our faith. We have not seen with our physical eyes, yet we have believed through faith which has brought us even greater joy. To have our spiritual eyes opened through faith is an even greater miracle experienced by countless people throughout the centuries. As the door of faith has been opened wide for your beloved children we pray that we will walk in this faith with great boldness for the entire world to see. Let us proclaim loudly that we have seen the resurrection with the eyes of faith and believe. For indeed a silent faith is no faith at all. We pray that on this Easter morn that the joy of Christ’ resurrection will be in the hearts and upon the faces of all thy beloved children. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed” (John 20:29).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 3/31/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. As true children of God we always long to shine as bright lights in a very dark world. Yet, if your children are honest they will admit that their complaining and arguing always dulls that light. Their complaints are plastered all over social media and becomes a large part of their prayer meetings. And if they are not complaining then they are arguing to stand firm on their small opinions. How sad that we live in a world that can no longer deal with their pain and suffering thus creating the opioid epidemic that’s ravaging our nation. We pray that you would teach us how to suffer in silence trusting you to comfort us in all our affliction and if necessary calling for the elders of the church. Lead us, Oh LORD to stop trying to win every argument, but be happy only to state the truth allowing your Spirit to bring forth the needed conviction. Above all cause thy beloved children to be once again bright shining lights always rejoicing and blessing others without complaining or arguing. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“Do all things without murmurings and disputings. That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world” (Philippians 2:14-15).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 3/30/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you, Father God, that there will come a time when we will be fully known not only to ourselves but to others. The fading pictures and images of social media will be replaced with seeing one another face to face. The many faces that people put on to hide who they really are will fall off and all will be intimately known. The fear of being fully known and exposed for all to see face to face will be tempered with love. We pray Father that your beloved children will drop the mask and the many faces they put on allowing themselves to be fully known. Truly the power of love will remove the ugly tarnishes of the old sin nature. When the perfect comes we will only see others in love as we too are being seen. We pray that all your beloved children put off the ugly face of pretension and put on the glorious face of love allowing themselves to be fully known as we press on together in our upward calling in Christ Jesus our Lord. We pray this is the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known” (I Corinthians 13:12).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 3/29/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you, Lord for without the Spirits help it would be impossible to pray as we ought. It’s so sad that so many of the public and private prayers from your children are made up of empty platitudes and memorized sayings. Help us to never say one word unless it comes from the Spirit who is our helper in prayer. On our own we truly do not know how to pray as we should. So, teach all thy beloved children to quietly wait upon the Spirit before rushing into vocalizing their prayers with canned sayings or a long list of requests. Teach them to allow the Spirit to guide them in their prayers according to thy will. What tremendous glory it is to allow You to speak through us speaking those things that are so deep within our hearts that they cannot be expressed without your help. As we release those things to you it brings great tears of joy to our hearts. For indeed nothing is hidden from thee. All is exposed leading us to pray as we ought. Even our intercession for others is so different. Praise God. We pray this in the loving Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered” (Romans 8:26).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 3/28/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. As thunder continues to roar in the background and as rain falls once again we are mindful of your great power. As lightning strikes within a few miles of our location we are reminded of your love and protection of thy beloved children. We are reminded of your providential care for us your end time saints. In a world that appears to be falling apart partly because of sinful humanity and partly because of your wrath being poured out on an unrighteous world, we stand firm in your righteousness and obedience to your commands. Even if we your saints are affected by the calamities or stricken by one of the many diseases plaguing our planet we stand in the assurance that it’s not your wrath, but simply the trials and tribulations that we must endure to strengthen our faith. If it be a trial, a tribulation or persecution we pray that we never complain, but lift our heads high proclaiming to the world that we belong to you; that we are the end time saints. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus” (Revelation 14:12).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 3/27/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. In any impending calamity we your beloved Church always fall down before you our Majesty on High. Thank you, Father, that our combined prayers always ascend to you as incense before your throne purified by the One making intercession for all the Saints. Thank you that these prayers are of such great importance to you that there is silence in heaven while a Heavenly response is readied. Praise God that all the power of heaven will be cast to Earth in response to our prayers. Although this blessed Scripture may appear to be one static event in Christian history, we believe that it teaches a dynamic occurrence throughout all Church history, demonstrating your loving response to our prayers to overcome the enemy of our souls and all that stands in the way of the furtherance of your Kingdom here on Earth. We pray that you will continue to strengthen all thy beloved children to overcome every obstacle thrown in our way by the enemy who does not want our ministry to succeed. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel’s hand” (Revelation 8:4; please read entire context 8:1-5).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 3/26/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. I am deeply grieved as I enter my prayer closet this morning realizing that there is no honor in our fallen world. None whatsoever. How tragic. There is no honor for those in power. There is no honor for one another. There is no honor for our God in Heaven. We cry out to you, Oh Lord our magnificent and glorious King, asking what happened. We feel as though this will be our undoing. Along with dishonor there is no godly fear of You. We pray that you will raise up honorable men and women that will demonstrate true honor for You and for one another. Open their eyes so that they can see that a lack of honor is caused by a lack of true self-giving love. We have seen the opposite with negative and hateful reporting. Always looking for the worst in others. We fear that it won’t be long before they start looking for the worst in you and if they can’t find any, which they can’t, they will make it up. Have pity on this fallen world dear LORD. We pray this in the glorious Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“Honor all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king” (I Peter 2:17).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 3/25/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. “Fear not” is a refrain that has echoed down through the centuries. Thank you, LORD, that you did not come riding a horse of war but riding on the colt of an ass to bring peace. To bring peace to the hearts of men and women. To all who believe. We pray, Oh Lord that you would open the eyes of the people so that they can see the real enemy who comes to destroy with his drugs and his lying counsel. We pray that on this Palm Sunday a special day of remembrance that all your beloved children would accept this peace that you want to bring to their hearts. A peace that defies understanding. The constant turmoil in their hearts can be replaced with a calm spirit. The unending stress can be replaced with the assurance that everything will work out. That all their deep seated emotional problems could be vaporized, if they only accept their King riding on the colt of an ass as their Savior. To believe that He has the power to make all things new. To believe that this Prince of Peace can give them a new life where old thing pass away. Praise God. We pray this in the most holy Name of Jesus our Lord. Amen
“And Jesus, when he had found a young ass, sat thereon; as it is written, Fear not, daughter of Sion: behold, thy King cometh, sitting on an ass’s colt” (John 12:14-15).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 3/24/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. I sense in my Spirit that things are going very fast now. In the blink of an eye we are seeing the change in the administration, our government, and the increased stress in the world. All we can do is fall down before you, our LORD, desiring to draw ever closer to you. We don’t want to waste our time, like so many, trying to figure out where we are on the timeline of end time history. On the other hand, we want to spend every waking moment doing your will, touching as many people as we can with the Gospel. The Gospel of healing and restoration. Showing them how to put on the new life in Christ. Thank you, LORD, for the dear brothers and sisters that you have brought close, to serve with me in the ministry. What a blessing to see them so quick to always give you the glory for all their work in the ministry. As the clock has just speeded up help all thy beloved children to redeem the time. We pray this is the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil” (Ephesians 5:15-16).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 3/23/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. As we enter our prayer closet today we are mindful of those who call upon the Name of Jesus yet suffer greatly. They suffer from mental anguish and deep emotional problems. While others suffer greatly under the weight of new diseases sweeping our planet. We pray, Oh LORD, that you will not allow thy beloved children to lay in the ruins of their own misery. Although most of them have trusted in the power and might of the professionals of this age to cure their problems, we know that it’s not by this earthly power that will save thy beloved children but through thy Spirit. We pray that you will increase their faith to trust in you alone to build up thy glorious Church for which we are. Using our trials and tribulations to strengthen our faith and not destroy it. No matter how much we suffer let it be to the glory of God becoming ever stronger in You allowing our light to shine ever so brightly in a very dark world. We pray this in the most powerful Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts” (Zechariah 4:6).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 3/22/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. As followers of your Son, Jesus Christ, thank you Father that we have been given beautiful examples of His holy life. Examples that we have followed, thus giving us a closer walk with thee. We pray that all thy beloved children will follow the practice of withdrawing to a lonely place to pray. A place of quiet and solitude. A place and time that should be guarded from all intrusions, scheduled appointments and other activities. If we need to spend two hours or three let it be so until we have entered fully into the Spirit having a blessed communion with You, Oh Lord. We pray that all would respect these quiet times by not interfering with this most sacred activity. An activity that gives us our daily marching orders. To dig deeper into thy Holy Word written down in our Bibles and brought to our memories by the Holy Spirit. To bring great joy in the life of the believer. Yes, help us to guard our quiet time in our proverbial closet. We pray this in the most holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“And he withdrew himself into the wilderness, and prayed” (Luke 5:16).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 3/21/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. We are profoundly humbled and blessed that you have chosen to dwell with us, to make your abode with us. Help us, we pray, that we will always remember this throughout the day and every day that you are here with us, dwelling with us through thy Holy Spirit. Our love for you compels us to keep all thy words. We pray that we do it at all times so that we don’t grieve our Holy Resident – the Spirit of God. To ignore your presence and doing what pleases us, contrary to thy Holy Word, will truly grieve you making our life most difficult. Let us, we pray, always experience the joy of our salvation by walking in the Spirit and not gratifying the desires of the flesh. A tremendous joy experienced in the midst of our worst physical pain. An inner joy that’s indescribable. Thank you, Father, for giving to us what the unbelieving world cannot receive. We pray this in the most holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him” (John 14:23).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 3/20/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. We weep this morning for our children, our grandchildren, and for all our relatives that don’t know you. Some have listened to our witness while others have openly spurned it. We pray that they all could see the great joy of our relationship with You and the blessed hope we have. The hope of eternal life in Heaven with You. The hope of a new life that’s being recreated now into the perfect image of your Son, Jesus Christ. The hope that we will never be tested or suffer beyond what we can handle. The hope that You are always with us through the Holy Spirit; that you will never leave us or forsake us. We pray that you will give all your beloved children the courage and love to share this blessed hope with all their children, their grandchildren and all their relatives. We pray that they will do it with meekness and fear. We pray that they do so now, for the time is short. We pray this in the most holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear” (I Peter 3:15).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 3/19/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. We lay before you this morning prostrate in the Spirit waiting for you to speak to us. There is nothing more important to us, your beloved children, than hearing your voice. A voice that brings us great joy and assurance that we are still at the center of your will. As the incompetence of others take their toll on us in so many different ways we long to know that we are still in the center of your will. As the incompetence of others affect the wellbeing of those whom we love, we long to hear the voice of assurance from you, Oh Lord that you will intervene. Although incompetence may be a sign of the times, we finally hear thy voice that we must continue to bear with others in Christian love believing that you will right all wrongs in your time and not ours. Thank you, LORD, for allowing us to hear your voice in our spirit that brings us such great joy. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness” (Colossians 3:13-14).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 3/18/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you, Father God, for molding us and making us into the perfect image of thy beloved Son. Along life’s journey we have learned that fastening onto a favorite doctrine at the exclusion of others is not your will. To judge others on a lesser doctrine that does not affect our salvation is more of a sign of pride and immaturity than humility and Spiritual growth. We pray that you will continue to teach us, Oh Lord to not be so eager to select a favorite doctrine or our small opinions to judge others with creating greater confusion and hostility among thy children. On the other hand, teach us to embrace all thy beautiful teachings in humility knowing that we are not yet made perfect. Remind us all to put they Sacred Scripture into its proper scriptural and historical context. Above all let us aim for perfection by putting on the higher gift of love. We pray this in the beloved Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?” (James 4:12)
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 3/17/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. Help us Father God not to grow bitter towards the uneducated fool whose vocabulary is limited to four letter foul words. They too have a soul. Although it may be taken captive for a time by the prince of darkness, we should continue to reach out in love with God’s powerful witness, the only thing that can break the bonds of the evil one. As the whole world is being made ready to be swept up by the power of the evil one, let us not give up hope believing that the Righteous One will prevail. Even if this evil power is manifested in miracles, signs and wonders to lead the entire world astray giving their united allegiance to him, we as your beloved children with our names already written in the Lamb’s Book of Life will overcome the beast. We pray, Oh Lord that You strengthen all of us with this hope. Not to withdraw and hide, but to speak boldly in the powerful Name of Jesus who still has the power to save the most evil and foul person to a life of love and righteousness. We pray this in the Blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live” (Revelation 13:12-14).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 3/16/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. As we enter our prayer closet today we are mindful of what we heard you say to Saul on the road to Damascus, “It is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.” It is You, Oh Lord, that is ultimately directing our path. As the farmer directs the ox with pricks you are directing us. If the ox kicks against the pricks it only causes him greater pain, so help us to learn this lesson and not kick against your pricks directing us on the path we should go. If we resist your directing us it will only cause us greater pain and suffering. When things happen that causes us great pain let it drive us to the throne of grace seeking your counsel and direction. Teach all thy beloved children to let go of their pride and allow you to direct their lives. Open their eyes dear Lord so that they can see your will and direction for their lives. Thank you LORD for always leading us properly down the path of righteousness if we don’t kicks against the pricks (resist your leading). We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks” (Acts 9:5).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 3/15/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. We pray Father that we will not be carried away by the foolish debates in the world but help us to stay focused always on your truth. Forgive us, Oh Lord where we have followed the world in these foolish debates which almost always divides people into waring camps. As facts and figures are thrown at one another at lightning speed to prove their point they typically miss the higher truth. Help us to look beyond these petty arguments to see the heart of others taken captive by the enemy to do his bidding. To turn our minds away from you. To focus on earthly things and not the Spiritual truths that can bind us all together in love. We pray that all thy beloved children will withdraw from things that separate and concentrate on those things that unite us together in Christ. Let us seek together the higher wisdom in Christ. We pray this in the most holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“And they were not able to resist the wisdom and the spirit by which he spake” (Acts 6:10).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 3/14/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. As we enter our prayer closet today we are mindful of how important hope is for all thy beloved children. When hope is deferred, is no longer accessed, is no longer the driving force in our life then we have experienced a deep dark sickness in our hearts. Let all thy children return to the true Counselor of their lives in their time of depression and a sick heart. Help them to gird up their loins and return to the living hope given to them by their risen Lord. The hope of their salvation. The hope of their new life in Christ. A life of joy and purpose. For when the hope is realized it’s like a tree of life. We pray Father that we will always walk in this hope looking beyond are present difficulties to the bright light of your glory that’s making us into the perfect image of your beloved Son. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“Hope deferred maketh the heart sick: but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life” (Proverbs 13:12).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 3/13/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. We pray Father God that you continue to help us to keep a tight rein on our mouth. We see so much happening in our world as if the scales have fallen off our eyes allowing us to really see. Not just what’s on the surface but much deeper. Down to the motives and the inner workings of those in power allowing us to see those things coming soon upon this world. Yet you have taught us that not all things are permissible to talk about. You have impressed upon us that you alone, Oh Lord are the true Spirit of prophecy. That we must wait before we speak until you alone have given us permission to do so. We pray that all thy beloved children would truly learn to have a tight rein on their mouths and only speak when you lead them to do so. Not only for the prophetic but also in every other area of their lives. Lead them to think things through before they speak and make sure that they have permission from you so as not to add to the confusion in the world. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man’s religion is vain” (James 1:26).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 3/12/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. Before the breaking of the early morning sun the skies look ominously white with a chill in the air as we approach the throne of grace. Oh, how we long for your presence as our memories are flooded with bygone years of serving in thy assembled church. The assembly of the saints for the purpose of receiving and giving mutual encouragement as we press forward in our journey. In a journey to remain pure in an impure world. To teach the deeper truths but also to receive the same from others who have journeyed further along the path of righteousness. We pray that in these last days we as your chosen children will draw closer together in the assembled church allowing you to remove the barnacles of the old sin nature that separates. Help us to be the true church of the living God and a bright light to the nations. We pray this in the most holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it” (Matthew 16:18).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 3/11/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. When we finally enter our prayer closet today after much meditation on what is happening in this fallen world we feel languished and our hearts are so grieved. We pray that you will raise up amongst us strong churches that are committed to only preaching and teaching the truth. Churches that will teach their congregations accountability one to another as they all surrender themselves to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. We have discovered with broken hearts that there is no such accountability on Social Media were each is free to run from person to person with itching ears to hear whatever pleases them. To help them to bury their hidden sin ever deeper, quite unwilling to repent of their own sins, while they focus on the sins of others. As they pridefully seek out teachers even among the pagan to satisfy their itching ears. We pray that you will draw all thy beloved children back to the accountability of the local church. We pray this in the beloved Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables” (II Timothy 4:3-4).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 3/10/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. As we come humbly before thee in our prayer closet we can see clearly the power of Satan and how it is capturing so many in our day. From mass shootings to ever increasing evil humanity is being overwhelmed by the power of Satan. Yet few attribute it to him. They blame the weapons, mental illness and the lack of gun control, but fail to see the power of Satan. They fail to see that his motive is destruction of humanity. We pray, Oh Lord that you open their eyes, turn them from darkness and from the power of Satan. We pray that you will raise up your beloved children as an army of light to stand against this power by proclaiming the Gospel, not just to one another on Social Media, but to every person we physically come into contact. We pray that this message will turn them from the power of Satan to God, so that they can receive all the benefits of a new life in Christ. We pray this in the most powerful Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me” (Acts 26:18).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 3/9/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. When the scales fall off our eyes and we see, really see, those things to come it’s so different from the popular ideas circulated among most. We tend to live a culture of expectation for an immediate and disastrous end. Of course, as you know Lord, everyone has their own favorite verse or passage of Sacred Scripture to point at to justify their belief. As confusion mounts it’s like an unprintable fog that hides the truth from most of your beloved children. In a day in which we need to stand strong. Especially being cautious with those who boastfully promise world peace and prosperity for all. Being cautious to those who would attract most of our religious leaders like a hidden magnet. Being cautious of those who have no real loyalty to any one political party but easily switches sides to accomplish his grandiose goals. We pray that you open the eyes of all thy beloved children to be cautious and not be so easily led astray. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy” (Revelation 19:10).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 3/8/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. We tarry long in our prayer closet today wanting to fully understand how you would have us to pray. Although as advanced humanity we no longer build beautiful pieces of sculptures or images and then bow down to them as our god, we do much worse. As mankind turned away from you as our one true God they have done something far worse than the ancients. They have created you, Oh Lord into their own image. They have put you into the proverbial box. Saying things like, “My god would never to this or that” completely ignoring the Holy Spirit and Sacred Scripture. They have made you into the god they want, instead of the God of who you are. We pray that they would look beyond themselves and the limits that they have placed upon you through their many different doctrines and denominations. To expand their hearts and minds to embrace the God of all creation, who is way beyond our petty differences and wildest imagination. We pray this in the most holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“Thou shalt have no other gods before me” (Exodus 20:3).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 3/7/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. We humble ourselves before you alone this morning and every day of our lives. We pray for all thy beloved children from around the world that they would not become so accustomed to pride, arrogance and a mouth speaking boastfully that they forget that it is the height of evil and the very thing that you hate. Let them not be blinded by the hope of safety and prosperity. Let them not be deceived that we as believers are winning the war. We pray that all thy children would give you the glory for all things. We pray that no man would attempt to rob you of your glory by boasting of his own great accomplishments. Give us eyes of great discernment to see when this happens so that we your people are not deceived. Give us strength to separate ourselves from those who put themselves on a pedestal higher than you. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate” (Proverbs 8:13).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 3/6/2018
Good Day Heavenly Father. I am really not sure how to begin my prayer today. We know when a person is sick especially with the flu then pneumonia that we are not at our best. We know at times all we can do is just cry out to you for your divine mercy. Although there may be an emptiness and a void, we know that you have not left us. Although our minds are not very clear because of the amount of drugs being taken to combat this illness, we know in our hearts that only you can bring true healing to our frail bodies. We wonder out loud if these prescribed drugs could be clouding our spirit making it difficult to commune with you as we are accustomed. Then we wonder how many of your beloved children are missing such a blessed communion with You because of their prescribed drugs to treat some emotional or psychological problem. We pray, Oh Lord that you open the eyes of all humanity so that they can see, really see, what drugs are doing to the survivability of humanity. We pray this in the glorious Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s” (I Corinthians 6:19-20).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 3/4/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. Everyone of your beloved children have someone in their family that has rejected your Lordship and has gone by the way of the world. This has really broken our hearts to see how they have been blinded by the world and have become as much a child of the Devil. It seems like all our preaching is in vain as we have struggled to show them the light. To show them the joy of becoming what we were originally created to be. To show them a better way. So reluctantly we have pulled away leaving them to You. Praying earnestly that You, Oh Lord open their eyes that have been shut by the Devil, so that they can see their depravity. So that they can see that they have become a slave of the Devil. We pray for a deep abiding conviction upon their hearts by thy Holy Spirit. We pray this in the most holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them” (II Corinthians 4:3-4).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 3/3/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. We cry out to you, Oh Lord, please speak louder. Let us feel thy blessed presence. The horrible effect of this flu and its medication to treat it is making it most difficult to commune with the indwelling Spirit. We know that you promised to never leave us or forsake us and that nothing can separate us from your magnificent love. Thank you, Father. We can hardly write for the tears. You have calmed the storm around us and we can once again feel thy loving presence. Praise God. We pray that we will be a great witness to a dying world that your love can overcome the greatest pain. Pain caused by illness, disease or even persecution. Help us to always stand firm in our beliefs and loving witness to others even in the height of our pain. We love you LORD. We pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee” (Hebrews 13:5).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 3/2/2018
Good Day my Heavenly Father. Out of nowhere we are struck down with sickness or an incurable disease. Like a bolt of lightning with no warning. We quickly discover how weak we are. Where every ounce of our energy is expended in trying to come to grips with our new problem. Did we forget to cry out to God? No. That was the first thing we did. It was never, “Why me, Oh Lord,” but we did plead that He, the Great Physician would take it away, and quickly. It did not take us long before we settled down, cleared our mind, and started remembering our Bible. Surely God would speak to our situation like He did with our forefathers. Like a clanging cymbal and a loud trumpet, the answer came like it always does. “My grace is sufficient!” Praise God. He reminded us that, yes, He is still with us and that He will use this to His Glory. Amen. And that’s not all, His strength is made perfect in our weakness. We pray this in the loving Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me” (II Corinthians 12:9).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 3/1/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. We lay our life before you as we do every day. Seeking your will above all things. It’s not for the promise of heaven, although we do look forward to it. It’s not for the promise of eternal life. It’s not for any special blessing or divine recognition, although we always look forward to whatever you want to do for us. It’s surely not for the prospect of persecution, although we do believe that you will be with us. It’s not because you have promised to transform our lives making them into a beautiful new creation, although we do love the promise. It’s not even our fear of eternal damnation, although we must admit we would not desire it. We lay our life down for no other reason other than we feel compelled to do it. Our love for You, the God of all creation, compels us to do it. To lay our life before You as a spiritual sacrifice letting you do with it whatever you will. We pray that you receive our life and put your will in our mind and heart giving us the ability to perform it perfectly. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service” (Romans 12:1).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 2/28/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. You know we are living in a new age where everyone can express their own opinions publicly without fear of reprisals. Some are learned people who have allowed their faith to be shaped and developed from the truth of thy Word. While others have allowed their faith to reinterpret the Scripture to fit their own selfish desires. Then along comes Facebook allowing all these people and many others to publicly convey their opinions. And you know LORD when they want to argue their opinions it just causes greater confusion among all the listeners. Thank you, Lord, for giving us guidance on how to deal with people who want to argue their opinions. If they accept the truth, Praise God and if they don’t we can shake the dust off our feet and go on. And if they continue to make no sense with their arguments even after we left then we are commanded to stop speaking to them so that are words are not despised. We pray that you help us to follow your directions in this matter. We pray this in the Wise Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“Speak not in the ears of a fool: for he will despise the wisdom of thy words” (Proverbs 23:9).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 2/27/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. Our hearts are sorely grieved this morning as we once again witness people in our world calling evil good while others are calling good evil. If we as believers are being seen as evil among many for not accepting their perversions, then the tables have truly been turned to use an old axiom. If they are calling illegal legal then truly they are calling bad good. It seems as though our world is being turned upside down. In their attempts to be an all-inclusive world darkness is covering the land and our light is slowly being extinguished. If we become truly evil in the eyes of the world then persecution will not be far behind. Please, Oh Lord give your children strength to stand firm in their religious convictions. To not give into the forces of evil by relaxing their Christian morality. Lead us all to let our light shine more brightly by walking at all times in righteousness. As evil increases help us to maintain the mind of Christ. We pray this in the most holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter” (Isaiah 5:20).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 2/26/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you, Father, for the great mystery that has been revealed in these last days through thy blessed Son. Hidden for many generations since the time of creation. Although this great mystery has been revealed for over two thousand years, we still have those in our day rejecting its power and turning to the devil for his wisdom that comes from the pits of hell. The devil’s wisdom of psychology and psychiatric drugs to fix fallen humanity, but it has failed. On the other hand, we pray that this hidden wisdom from You will be accepted that can turn the greatest sinner into a person of righteousness. Allow fallen humanity to witness this great power to transform people from darkness to light. Thank you, LORD, that this great mystery is now revealed in the Gospel of Jesus Christ with its power to transform. Indeed, this is the mystery of godliness. Praise God. We pray this in the most holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory” (I Corinthians 2:7-8).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 2/25/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you, Father, for showing us the wonder of your love. A love that’s so strong and reciprocal. We simply cannot out love you. Not only do you desire to love us, but to love others through us. Praise God. Although we know that to truly love you then we must keep all your blessed commandments, we pray that you teach us to love you even more. For indeed you are worthy of our love. A love that flows from every fiber of our being. Love from our heart, soul and mind. Teach us how to take every thought and emotion captive to love you. Yes, teach us how to love you in all our thoughts and our actions. Knowing that the more we sincerely love others that love flows back to you. Let us spend the rest of our lives loving you more. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment” (Matthew 22:37-38).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 2/24/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. As we enter our prayer closet today we hear the words “separation of powers.” As we meditate upon that meaning we ask that the indwelling Spirit help us to understand. To understand your will in the matter of separation. We will give our political leadership their due, but we will not allow it to interfere with our ultimate allegiance to You our one true King. We pray that the winds of political divide will not cast thy beloved children adrift into a sea of uncertainty or into a sea of certain destruction. Lead us, Oh Lord to come out from among them especially in the area of politics, other than casting our vote and paying our taxes. Lead us to lift our banner high that Jesus Christ is our King and our ultimate allegiance is to Him alone. Help us to put all our God given energy into helping thy children to experience the full measure of their new life in Christ so that they can be a bright shining light and a beacon of hope to a dying world. We pray this in the most powerful Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“And Jesus answering said unto them, Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s. And they marvelled at him” (Mark 12:17).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 2/23/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. As I enter my prayer closet this morning I am deeply grieved for what is happening in our day. With social media and YouTube videos spreading their lies even among thy beloved children is appalling. Especially in videos were things can be easily taken out of context or even words changed or deleted. We see now it is being used as a tool of the enemy to prey on thy children. To lead them to even question things about their own faith. To lead them to question things about the Holy Scripture. To even question things about godly men raised up by you to lead millions to salvation through the Gospel message. What a tragedy these lying videos have caused among your flock. We pray that you will lead them to STOP watching videos from people they don’t know or have not heard a good report about, that bear Spiritual fruit, and even then, to use every measure of discernment. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. And this I say, lest any man should beguile you with enticing words” (Colossians 2:3-4).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 2/22/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. As we humble ourselves before you this morning in prayer we wait on you to show us how to pray. As you open our eyes we see the great chasm between the sons of light and the sons of darkness. As the world becomes more evil, we pray Oh Lord that we will continue to grow in truth and righteousness. Help us Father to build ourselves up in all the doctrines of our faith. For we know how easy it is to get caught up in one favorite doctrine while neglecting the rest. Although eschatology may be a favorite doctrine as we fast approach the end, lead us with the Holy Spirit’s help to build up ourselves in all thy blessed teachings. The teachings of our LORD Jesus Christ and His Holy Apostles. Thank you, Lord, that you have given us the Holy Spirit to dwell in each of your beloved children to lead us in our daily prayers and in a deeper understanding of your teachings. To build ourselves up in our most holy faith. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost” (Jude 1:20).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 2/21/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. We have just felt in our spirit that a great light was extinguished with the passing of Rev. Billy Graham. The dark forces of evil have always been with us but now unabated as the Gospel light is being replaced with politics and hand to hand combat on social media. As the battle lines are drawn between liberal and conservative; between one political party and another; and between one religious denomination and another we are losing our objectivity. We are losing our power to overcome the enemy. The real enemy of our souls. We kneel before You our one true Commander and Chief awaiting your orders. Order we have just received from You. Praise God. Orders to stand our ground against the enemy united in Spirit and truth proclaiming the simple Gospel with great power. We pray that you open the ears of all thy beloved children, soldiers of the light, to hear our marching orders. We pray this in the most powerful Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek” (Romans 1:16).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 2/20/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. As the world races towards its end at lightning speed we are becoming more aware every day how we are growing ever more opposite of fallen humanity. As the fallen world demands tolerance for everyone and everything other than Christianity we on the other hand seek the Biblical example of being likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord and being of one mind. Truly the opposite of tolerance. We pray, Oh LORD that you will help all your beloved children to follow your example of humility and not to think more highly of ourselves than we ought, but help us to learn together the sacred Scriptures. Help us all to only listen to your voice so that we can become likeminded. Teach us all to test the spirits and not be led astray by our own vain imagination or the devil who masquerades as an angel of light. Help us to truly be in one accord listening to the SAME voice of our beloved Savior. We pray this in the Name of our Great Shepherd, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“Fulfill ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind” (Philippians 2:2).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 2/19/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. Many of the old sayings of our childhood come tumbling in this morning as we enter our prayer closet. “Don’t give yourself airs or don’t put yourself on a pedestal.” The heritage of our older generation from bygone years seemed to have had a deeper connection to the Holy Scripture, which produced many of their old sayings. Sayings they lived by. Although we are only one generation removed from those packed churches and a deep respect for the “good book,” it at times feels light years away as this new generation has its head in the cosmos. We pray Oh LORD that we, all your beloved children, would spend more time in the Holy Bible allowing it to judge our lives and not the life of others. Help them to see that staying on the narrow path is much easier if we don’t think of ourselves more highly than we ought. It’s much easier if we judge ourselves rather than always judging others. We humbly pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith” (Romans 12:3).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 2/18/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you, LORD, that every morning when I pray it is not me, but You speaking through me. For indeed we don’t know how to pray as we should. It is your Spirit that intercedes with ours interpreting our fears, our anguish, and the many other things deep within our spirit. Things that cannot be uttered with the human voice of understanding. We praise you LORD that when we do pray it is according to thy will and not ours. Therefore, we press on every day with the hope of our calling. Our upward calling in Christ Jesus our Lord. We don’t look back nor do we strain forward to see the future, but we are satisfied with the day. We live for today worshipping you, praising your holy Name and being thankful in all things. This is the day that the Lord has made we will rejoice and be glad in it no matter how tragic you think your circumstance. We pray this with tears of joy in our eyes and in the Name Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God” (Romans 8:26-27).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 2/17/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you, Father, for always working things out for the best when we see no way forward. Our walls of indecision and mountains of frustration melt away instantly when we learn to put our trust in you, Oh LORD. When anxiety and worry tend to rule the day just a little faith turns the corner to a brand-new day. Praise God. We pray that all thy beloved children will not follow the world in its constant worry and frustration but rather have a little faith in the One who is making us into a brand-new creation with His wonderful promise to work everything for good. Glory to God. Help us to always remember that “Christians don’t worry.” This one Christian attribute should be a true mark of Christianity and a bright light to a dark world that is lost in its own self-pity burdened with paralyzing worry and anxiety. Yes help us to remember, Oh Lord that Christians don’t worry. We pray this is the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 2/16/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. Some of the things people are saying publicly these days are incredibly ignorant based purely on speculation. So, we begin our prayers this morning by lifting up these unbelievers asking that you open their eyes to the truth. The truth of who you are. That you are not a mute God, but a God who speaks to all His beloved children through many and various ways, but in these last days through the indwelling Spirit. We pray, Oh Lord that you will give all your children ears to hear what the Spirit says to the Church. For indeed we are the Church of the living God. We are not an organization made by man, but a divine assembly of the saints in each area throughout all the ages. Let us hear what the Spirit says to the churches. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches” (Revelation 3:22).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 2/15/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. As we approach your throne this morning give us renewed Spiritual eyes to see you in your magnificent glory. As we gaze upon your glory high and lifted up we once again so appreciate our life of solitude. A life where you have removed all the worldly desires and appetites so common among fallen humanity. Where we have tasted to see that the Lord is good. For you alone have fulfilled our every desire. We pray that our decisions or the decisions of others would never interfere with our times of quiet solitude before you. Times in the morning and times throughout the day. Help your beloved children to always guard these special times of quiet solitude without any interruptions allowing themselves to be taught by the indwelling Spirit while basking in your Heavenly glory. Indeed, it is a wonderful blessing for putting our trust in you alone. We pray this in the most holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him” (Psalms 34:8).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 2/14/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. Please continue to teach us, Oh Lord, how to love. How to really love as you do. To look beyond the exterior of the other person to see their heart. To not pull away if we see pain, suffering and turmoil. Above all not to reach out to them with canned talking points and memorized Scripture, but help us to listen to them, to really listen. First to them and then to the indwelling Spirit. Help us to not only love in word, which is vitally important, but also in deed. We hear so much about domestic violence these days which leads us to believe so much of this is learned behavior primarily because they have not allowed you to transform them into a beautiful new creation capable of learning how to love others with a selfless love, NEVER expecting anything in return. We pray that on this pagan holiday – Valentines Day that we will demonstrate to a selfish world what love is all about. We humbly pray this in the loving Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another” (John 13:34).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 2/13/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. As we humbly enter our prayer closet today we must admit it’s always a bit unsettling when others say that, “the LORD told me this or the LORD told me that.” Especially if we didn’t hear it for ourselves or question its Scriptural legitimacy. We truly don’t doubt that you can speak to people in our day as you are now doing to me through the Spirit and many others also. Perhaps what makes it a bit unsettling is when they personalize it as if they are the only ones that can hear your voice and that we must obey it. Thank you, Father, for giving us Scriptural instructions in dealing with these professed prophets of our day that’s unsettling a great deal of people and causing a great deal of confusion. We pray that all your beloved children would learn to test these so-called prophets with other godly prophets along with properly interpreting Holy Scripture in its full context. We pray this in the most holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets. For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints” (I Corinthians 14:32-33; see entire context).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 2/12/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you, LORD, for the great promise. The promise that you will overcome all the evil in this world. Thank you, Father, for the great promise that you will be with us until the end of the world. All power in heaven and earth has been given to you. Not given to a leader of some rogue nation. Not given to all the evil forces in the world combined, but given to You our all-powerful Savior – the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. We pray that you, Oh Lord will open the eyes of all your beloved children so that they can see this Great Power. The Great Power that promises to be with us until the end of the world as we go forth teaching others everything that you have taught us through your Holy Scripture and the indwelling Spirit. Help them to go forth in your great power overcoming evil with the Words from your teachings. We pray this in the most powerful Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen” (Matthew 28:18-20).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 2/11/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. We pray Father that we don’t ever compromise our faith under any circumstances. How disheartening it is to see such accomplished writers and speakers bow to the convictions of their religious denomination thus straying from the truth. How sad when these individuals have so much to offer the Christian community. It breaks our hearts when the truth is sacrificed on the altar of a favorite doctrine. We pray for all thy beloved children not to be captured by a favorite doctrine of their religious denomination without taking the time to search the Holy Scripture to see if those things are valid. From idol worship to tolerance your Church is being destroyed from within. From the false teachings on Eschatology to numerous other favorite doctrines your beloved Church is being led down the path of greater confusion. Awaken their Spirit, Oh Lord, to search the Scriptures for themselves. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so” (Acts 17:11).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 2/10/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. We pray that you, Oh Lord give thy people a vision of what’s possible in a hateful and violent world. Your children have for too long now followed the ways of the world. Joining them in their battles, choosing sides, and casting hateful insults at one another. Give them a vision, Oh Lord of what you can do in this world through your beloved children. A vision that will turn the world upside down allowing you to receive all the glory. A vision of what it would look like if all your children in every country would stop taking sides. Stop finding fault or hurling their insults at the other side and do good to ALL men. More than just following the axiom, “If we don’t have anything good to say, don’t say anything at all.” Much more! Lead us to look for every opportunity to do good, to speak good of all men – even the liberal and the atheist. To do good to those who believe differently, that dress differently, that act differently than we do. We pray this in the most loving Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith” (Galatians 6:10).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 2/9/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. Holy Righteous Father we have noticed the tremendous increase in evil and demonic influence in our day. It’s almost beyond belief. Reading just the headlines of our national and world news is like reading the tabloids. The lies, the deception, and the daily intrigue is beyond anything we have ever witnessed. We cry out to you Father and ask, “how long?” Even the health-related issues of both physical and mental with their accompanying drugs has had a crippling effect upon our world. It’s as though we are racing towards our own demise. We cry out to you, Oh LORD and ask, “how long?” With the persecution of your beloved children from around the world, we cry out to you and ask how long before your judgment reigns down on an unrepentant world. We pray that you give us strength knowing that we must continue to reflect the bright light of your glory in a very dark and perverse world. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?” (Revelation 6:10).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 2/8/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. In our hearts we have great joy to be a part of your chosen family. A family chosen before the foundations of our world. Thank you, Father, that through faith in your only begotten Son that we now have thy Holy Spirit dwelling within us. Who’s always teaching us and drawing us closer to You through your beloved Son. Help us, we pray, that our pain is not more than what we can bear. Although we believe the pain and suffering to be great, from time to time, we rejoice knowing that we don’t suffer from your wrath, which is only destined for the wicked. Thank you, Father, for teaching us to rejoice in our trials and tribulations knowing that they are meant for the strengthening of our faith and dependence on You alone. We thank you, Oh LORD that your wrath more severe than we can imagine is not meant for us but is destined for the wicked with the hope of driving them to true repentance. We long for a day when there will no longer be pain and suffering for your beloved children and that wickedness will finally be eradicated. We pray this in the most holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ” (I Thessalonians 5:9).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 2/6/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. In a turbulent world of liars, abusers, and haters of your holy law we are thankful that we can still find peace in you. In a world full of warmongers and those who are hateful with a liberal bias we are thankful that we can find peace in you. So, we enter our prayer closet today desperately trying to leave all this at the door, so we can know and feel the peace that defies understanding. Once securely inside we fall prostrate before you repenting of our momentary stress of allowing ourselves to be affected by the world. The bright light of your holiness makes us feel so much better and we are able to put some things into perspective. We can see how to pray for those who have brought us pain creating our momentary stress. Thank you, Father, for your great love always ready and willing to work things out for the best and giving us wonderful peace that truly defies understanding. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:6-7).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 2/5/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. As we humbly enter our prayer closet today we are mindful of how important it is to come completely empty handed. To leave our intellect, our pride, and our imagination at the door. We pray that you search us of any unclean thing for we are ready and willing to confess it before you. We truly want to enter the dark night of soul purging it of all selfish ambition making it ready to receive the bright light of your glory and union with you our most Holy God. As we take up our cross dying to self daily we pray that we would become more like you in our conversation with others. Always speaking the truth in gentleness and love. Always seeking their benefit above ours. Always looking for ways to encourage them in their spiritual walk. We pray that we will always model our Christian faith by never taking part in foolishness. We pray that all our posts, comments, and conversations will glorify you. We pray this in the most holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me” (Luke 9:23).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 2/4/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. As the dense fog begins to lift in Texas we begin to see your will that we should stand still, to stand resolute. To no longer be swayed by man’s opinion or even the opinion of the so-called majority. To stop being swayed by the lies in our society or on our Facebook timeline. Thank you, LORD, for teaching us to stand resolute in our convictions that you have personally instilled into your beloved children. Convictions received by standing still and listening only to your voice. To stop being swayed in one direction and then another. To stop believing the lie that our Christian values will be defeated, and that God is dead. Even if we, the sons of light, are overcome by the enemy, suffer persecution or imprisoned for our faith we will be still and know that our God is God. We believe that one day your name will be exalted even among the heathen. That one day all your enemies will be destroyed, and war will be no more. We pray this in the glorious Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth” (Psalms 46:10).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 2/3/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. We cry out to you, Oh LORD in great agony today for our divided country. Yes, we know that it’s been divided for a long time now, but just now to the point of civil war. You have shown us the real problem. The other side, the sons of darkness will not accept the truth even if it’s presented to them. We pray that you will open their eyes with whatever means you deem necessary even to the point of pouring out your wrath on this country and the world. We know that only the truth will set them free from their many lies taught by their universities, entertainment and liberal media. We pray for all your beloved children in this country and from around the world to hold fast to the truth. We pray that they will not be led astray by their twisting of the truth making it a lie. Show them the only way we can resist in this struggle against the opposition is through the continued proclamation of the truth. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:31-32).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 2/2/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. We pray Father that you impress upon all thy beloved children not to eagerly read or watch every so-called prophecy being produced at the speed of light. While some may appear legitimate by quoting Scripture and Jewish traditions others are like watching or reading something out of a science fiction thriller. It seems like everyone has a prophecy causing even greater confusion among thy children. We believe that they need a lot more than just discernment, they need to stop chasing after every so-called prophet in sheep’s clothing. With the rise, Oh Lord, of YouTube and social media you know that it has given a tremendous platform for every false prophet eager to prey upon thy children. We pray that all thy beloved children would be more interested in reading thy Holy Scripture and growing from one degree of glory to another. That they would spend more time keeping in step with the Spirit rather than sharing some so-called prophecy. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“And many false prophets shall rise and shall deceive many” (Matthew 24:11).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 2/1/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. Oh Lord, we cry out to you and ask that you heal the division in our land. Perhaps the division has been there much longer than we know. Since the time when people started turning away from you. When they stopped trusting in you alone to provide them with the solution to their many problems. When they turned away from your beautiful law to give them structure for their lives. When they started to dabble in other religions and the deeper things of Satan. When they started coming out of the closet allowing the whole world to see their perversions. When they started calling good bad, and bad good. All we know Father is that this division is now full blown, demonstrated by a negative media, and ready to implode from within. We pray for all your beloved children in every part of this world to put on the armor of light. To demonstrate to those in captivity a far better way. To restore love and cohesion to a fractured world. We pray this in the loving Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand” (Mark 3:24).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/31/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. What a joy it is to arise very early this morning in prayer to you. The One who deserves our love and respect. We are hoping to see the blood red moon as it comes the closest to our home, planet earth. As we await another sign in the sky we are mindful of all the warnings that you have already given to fallen humanity. Yet, they still sleep in their many sins completely unaware of your hand at work in creation to awaken them. We pray that you, Oh Lord, will be with our mouths helping us to speak boldly of their impending doom if they continue to slumber in their sins and repent not. Let us not fear to point out their sins against a Holy God. Let us always be willing to show them the path to salvation and transformation in Christ. Our desire is to always bring glory to your Name in all that we do and all that we say. We pray this in the glorious Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come” (Acts 2:20).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/30/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you, LORD, for creating us in your own image and giving us a strong faith to believe it. To believe it against all the lies of the enemy masquerading as science. Praise God that we have not evolved from some lower form of life. If anything, we have devolved from that perfect image placed in the garden before the fall. A fall precipitated against them and all humanity by the enemy. We rejoice that you have and will restore that perfect image through the transformation. A glorious free gift given to all humanity through faith in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We pray that all your elect children will stand against this lie of evolution taught in our schools and aired in our movies by the entertainment industry to keep humanity blind to the truth. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them” (Genesis 1:27); “[Jesus Christ] Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature” (Colossians 1:15, please read the entire context).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/29/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. Above all things we pray, Oh Lord, that we will be a true instrument for you and your Kingdom. We are appalled at the lack of love and outright hate for one another on the world stage. This despicable behavior even among those who claim to know you brings us great pain. This along with your wrath currently being poured out on unrighteous man we believe it’s ever more important to reach others for you letting them know of their pending doom lest they repent. We pray that you give us strength to keep warning, to keep loving and not to give up even in the face of violent opposition. Help us to broadcast the warnings and the signs not to frighten, but to help your beloved children to stand firm in their love for others by speaking the truth. We humbly pray this in the glorious Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops” (Matthew 10:27).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/28/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. Why do bad things always happen? We are often brought back to the Scripture that says a man reaps what he sows. We know LORD, that lying, losing one’s temper, or being two faced can have devastating consequences. We also know that you have provided all your beloved children your beautiful law to help us navigate through a dark world with its many pitfalls. We praise you, Oh Lord for keeping us on a safe path through the obedience to thy holy law of life and liberty. Only the sinners and wicked see thy law as a burden and thy way as enslavement. On the the hand, we as thy chosen children see it as freedom and great joy. Truly it is a manual for the good life. There is no wonder that we delight in meditating on your beautiful law day and night so that we can apply it to our lives. You have taught us the glory of putting off the old life and putting on the new. Praise God. We pray this in the Name of your beloved Son Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night” (Psalms 1:2).

Good morning Heavenly Father. As we enter our prayer closet today we are mindful that you are our great and wonderful counselor. Our hearts may be heavy, a bit bewildered, or even confused by the actions or inactions of others. Unlike you we can’t even see beyond this one point in time or always understand your future plans. Yet, we can come as we are and ask that you comfort our hearts giving us the assurance once again that you alone are in control of our destiny. We are confident that you will continue to guide us through thy indwelling Spirit. We are overjoyed that your counsel is always perfect even if we don’t readily understand what lies ahead. We take delight in knowing that your counsel from your Word made alive through the Spirit will keep us from falling contrary to the action or inaction of others. Amen. We pray Oh LORD that more of your beloved children would rely on your counsel alone instead of turning to the world’s counsel. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Wonderful Counselor. Amen
“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace” (Isaiah 9:6).

Good morning Heavenly Father. We come humbly before you today seeking your wisdom. We have noticed as of late a pattern that has surfaced among most leaders in our country and perhaps the world. A pattern that’s quite disturbing. A pattern that could prove very destructive to the moral compass of our leadership. We humbly present this, asking that you open our eyes to the truth. We have witnessed almost on a daily basis accusations and then denials from the leadership of our country almost at every level, both democrats and republicans. Not once but many times. Someone is lying. In fact, many people are lying and it’s getting even more difficult to determine who’s telling the truth. Perhaps the most unsettling thing is as believers in Christ we know that Satan is the father of lies. We also know that lies and deception go hand in hand. We pray, Oh Lord that you open our eyes to the truth and not allow your beloved children to be led astray by deception. We pray this in the most holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it” (John 8:44).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/25/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you, Father, for teaching us to look beyond our struggles and disappointments. To look beyond our present difficulties and challenges. To look beyond the unknown and the what-ifs. To trust in you for a brand-new day. Believing that you have heard our cry that everything will be done according to your magnificent plans for our lives. As we raise our heads to heaven with joy in our hearts for another new day we are confident that your perfect will, will be done in our lives today. Amen. Stress and worry are no longer a part of our new life in Christ, because no matter what happens you are with us. For indeed you have promised your beloved children, who put their trust in you alone, for those who love you, to work out everything to the good. So, we put our trust in you, believing that all that happens today will be a part of your beautiful plan to work out everything to the best. So, let us rejoice in a brand-new day without tears. We pray this in the beloved Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning” (Psalms 30:5).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/24/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. We pray for your children today that they will not resist the transformation in their lives. Although the world continues to force them to look back on their past lives, we pray that they will resist, believing that they have been forgiven. Help them, Oh Lord, to believe that they are no longer held captive to the old life. We pray that they will continue to press on toward their new life in Christ believing that they will be completely transformed into a new creation where their old life has already passed away. We pray that they will stop being a collection of only what the see and hear in this fallen world but seek to know the mind of Christ through the indwelling Spirit. To fill their minds with only holy and righteous thoughts. Help them not to fear the transformation thus becoming all that you want them to be. Truly the good news of our salvation. We pray this in the most holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new” (II Corinthians 5:17).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/23/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you for the many spiritual blessings that come from reading and listening to thy Holy Word, the Bible. Written by men who allowed themselves to become a conduit for your Words spoken directly to the human race. Men who took themselves completely out of the equation. Amen. We pray that all thy beloved children take the time to read or hear the reading of thy Word specifically the last book in our Bible, the book of Revelation that promises a special blessing. Although it only takes one hour and thirty-six minutes to listen through the entire book of Revelation, unfortunately many of your children will miss this blessing that will help us to prepare for the end. We pray that you lead them to listen today and hold these truths in their memories following the practical applications given to us, your children, living in the last days. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord, the Alpha and the Omega. Amen
“Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand” (Revelation 1:3).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/22/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. We cry out to you Oh LORD asking how much longer will you tarry before you come back and reign in all holiness and righteousness. We long for a perfect world free from corruption, negative character assassination, and the flaunting of public perversion. Just a cursory look at the news headlines on any given day demonstrates how deep and depraved the cesspool is becoming. Speak to your beloved children again and tell them how they can join you in this battle against the sons of darkness and the spiritual wickedness in high places. Time is far spent, and the day is at hand. We pray that you will raise up an army of light to fight this battle, not with the weapons of this world, but with the armor of light and your powerful Gospel. The Gospel that will penetrate the hearts and minds of fallen humanity. To truly make them all into new creations seeking to live a life of holiness. We pray this in the powerful Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places” (Ephesians 6:12).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/21/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. We pray Father that you always help us to control our anger, wrath and righteous indignation not allowing it to become sin. Although we may be moved to forcefully intervene on the behalf of others that’s not being properly cared for, let us do it with great restraint being careful not to sin. Although we may be moved with great compassion and love for those who cannot care for themselves, let our anger be short lived. Although we may experience righteous indignation for those who are leading your children astray through false doctrines, rejection of your commands, and the denial of your existence, we pray that our wrath would not lead us into sin. Show us, Oh Lord, how to stand strong for the weak and those who are being led astray with great power under control. Let not the sun go down on our anger, wrath and righteous indignation giving the devil an opportunity to lead us into sin. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Neither give place to the devil” (Ephesians 4:26-27).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/20/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. There is no greater joy than to be in your presence. We could easily spend all day in prayer and meditation. We pray Father that you purge our memories of unwanted thoughts and replace them with your thoughts. Thoughts of things to come that are already present for you. Thoughts that are pure and unpolluted. Thoughts that are not held captive by the enemy and his deception. A powerful deception engineered so persuasively through the entertainment industry to become the world’s teacher. This same powerful deception is now present in both the news media and institutions of higher learning. We pray that all thy beloved children of the faithful remnant would no longer listen to their lies or spread their teachings on social media, but to fight back by only spreading the truth. All the beautiful truth of what you have planned for your children now in the present and in the future. We pray this in the most holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses” (I Timothy 6:11-12).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/19/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. We fall prostrate before you today in the Spirit with humble hearts admitting that we too have allowed this evil world to influence us. Although the influence is negligible, it still greatly concerns us, because our utmost desire is to only be influenced by you alone. Our greatest desire, Oh Lord is to know the mind of Christ who knows the mind of God. Let all our influence flow from you and not from a world that’s being influenced by the enemy. Help us to turn a deaf ear to all their negative talk, to all their fine sounding arguments and to their whole entertainment industry that is brainwashing an entire generation. We pray that you help us to look at things objectively with the mind of Christ calling out their perversions, their double standards, and their outrageous lies. We pray that we will not emulate them, but to courageously speak forth the simple truth claims of the Gospel. Help us to close our ears to a perverted world and open our mouth expressing only your truth. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ” (I Corinthians 2:16).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/18/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. The term faithful remnant should have a whole new meaning as we draw close to the end. While we may admit to a momentary lapse in our faith due to the mounting pressure from an evil world, it is quickly restored through Spiritual reflection and prayer. Although we can’t see, we believe. It may not be exactly what we imagined, but our faith causes us to press on believing it’s the best. Forgive us Father for even the momentary lapses. Although we can’t always see the outcome, we believe, and our hope is made stronger. Praise God. We pray for all thy beloved children when their faith in things to come faultier, drive them to their knees in prayer rather than trying to take matters into their own hands. The road ahead may be difficult, but our faith is certain in things not yet seen. We are the faithful remnant. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord, the One not seen, but believed in to the glory of God. Amen
“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” (Hebrews 11:1).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/17/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. While listening through the entire book of Revelation we were impressed with how your children will serve you in heaven for all eternity. As we meditate on that we ask what kind of service would you need for you have everything you want and the power to create anything you desire out of nothingness. How could we serve you? Then you have brought to our memory the Words of thy precious Son, Jesus Christ. We serve you and love you through our love and service to others. Praise God. We no longer live for self, but we live for others. The more we love others the more that love flows through them and back to you. Praise God. Help us, Oh Lord, to truly live our life in loving service to others without ever expecting anything in return. Help us to use our unique Spiritual Gifts in loving service to others. Let our love for others be a reflection of your love for us. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me” (Matthew 25:40).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/16/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you, Father, for teaching us that the very best part of the day is when we enter our prayer closet completely alone with no interruptions. A special time to connect with you in the Spirit; to talk to you, but mainly to listen. As we are enveloped with the Spirit and feel your presence we wait to hear your voice and not ours. We tarry in the prayer closet long until we do, which is not burdensome, because we enjoy your presence. We pray that thy busy children would do the same. Let it be more than just a habit, but an adventure as you take us by the hand and teach us to apply your written Word found in the Bible to our lives. Indeed, we find ourselves praying through Scripture that you have laid upon our hearts from previous readings. Help us to know how to guard our quiet time with you alone and shut firmly the closet door behind us. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“And he withdrew himself into the wilderness, and prayed” (Luke 5:16).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/15/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. We always rejoice in your presence, because it is you that takes the burdens from our hearts. Forgive us Father when we don’t live up to your expectations. At times if we are honest the old sin nature wants to direct our path, instead of keeping in step with the Spirit. Continue to show all thy beloved children the absolute joy of following your ways and not ours. For indeed you always know what’s best. As we face another day we sincerely desire to do your will, so please continue to give us ears to hear what the Spirit says. Help us to feel those holy nudges even if they interfere with what we are currently doing. Above all let us not rush ahead or lag behind. Help all your children to always ask, “Is this what Jesus Christ would do?” We will soon discover a whole new set of priorities putting us right in the center of your perfect will. The best and happiest place to be. Amen. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh” (Galatians 5:16).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/14/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. We come humbly before you early this morning pleading with you to open the eyes of your wayward children. For they have been captured by the Jezebel spirit to graft onto Christianity the mysteries of darkness. They no longer trust you alone to solve their multitude of emotional and psychological problems. They no longer trust you to transform their miserable lives into beautiful new creations illuminating the light of your glory, but have integrated the world’s counsel into the pure doctrines of holiness. We pray that your churches will drive out this idolatrous teaching, which has kept thy precious children in bondage to the old life. We pray that they will learn how to counsel and teach from thy Holy Word alone. We pray that you will have mercy on those who have ignored your warnings and are now enduring great tribulation in their lives. We pray this in the most holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols” (Revelation 2:20).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/13/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. We are deeply grieved about a situation that we see in our world today and that’s even present among thy children. Where the relentless drive for individualism has fragmented your church into every man expressing his own doctrine or beliefs. This has created fights, hostility, and splits among thy people instead of expressing true selfless love for one another. We pray that thy children would spend more time sitting under the same learned teachers and then studying thy Word while filled with the Holy Spirit to confirm their teachings, instead of constantly going to countless other teachers and news outlets where many of them are expressing things from their own vain imaginations instead of the truth. As you know LORD this has created organizations like social media giving everyone an opportunity to express their own opinions about sacred truth while assimilating the false opinions of others. We pray, Oh Lord that you open the eyes of your beloved children. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“Fulfill ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind” (Philippians 2:2).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/12/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. As we come before you today we are so sad about how our President is being treated, but more so about him as a person. We pray that as a child of God that you would draw him ever closer to you teaching him the beauty and power of the new life in Christ. Please help him, Oh Lord to put off the old life and put on the new. Please help him to grow spiritually from one degree of glory to another becoming all that you want him to be. We pray Father that you give him both physical and mental strength to stand up under the undo pressure of a negative and hateful media. Keep him strong in the face of such intense opposition. Above all we pray LORD that you alone direct his path by surrounding him with Godly advisors. Finally, please Lord, protect him from those who would do him or his family harm. As you know Lord, we are praying for our President and leader Donald J. Trump. We pray that every true believer in Christ will join us in this prayer. It is in the most holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord we pray. Amen
“I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty” (I Timothy 2:1-2).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/11/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. We come humbly before you today wanting to express our love for you and our bewilderment for all that’s happening in the world. We know that you have a plan, because from your perspective history has already been written. We have seen the eb and flow of history from the great missionary efforts to the horrific times of persecution to lukewarmness and false prophecy causing thy people to stumble. We appear to be in this latter stage which sorely grieves our hearts. We pray for a great awakening among thy people. Awake them, Oh Lord from their slumber. Cause them to turn away from all that brings them down. To shun all so-called prophecy that ignores the great plans that you have for your children. Plans to build up and not tear down. Plans to transform all thy beloved children to become the light of your glory in a very dark world. We pray this in the most holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“If ye will still abide in this land, then will I build you, and not pull you down, and I will plant you, and not pluck you up: for I repent me of the evil that I have done unto you” (Jeremiah 42:10).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/10/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. As we enter our prayer closet today we are reminded once again how much we hunger and thirst for thy holy Word in the Bible. Every time we return to it, it’s like returning to an old friend. We wonder how we could have stayed away from it for so long, when hours seem like days and days seem like years. As we read thy Word slowly and methodically in the Spirit we discover once again how difficult it is to stop, giving way to all time. Thank you Lord for showing us that the hunger for thy anointed Word apart from human and vain interpretations is indeed the true mark of a Christian. Thirst for thy knowledge alone, apart from all so-called science and vain imaginations is indeed the mark of a true believer in Christ. Our desire to be completely transformed into the righteousness of Christ is above all the mark of a faithful Christian. We pray that all who call upon you will flee worldliness and aim for perfection. We pray this in the glorious Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called: Which some professing have erred concerning the faith. Grace be with thee. Amen. ” (I Timothy 6:20-21, please read the whole context).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/9/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. As we enter our prayer closet today we keep hearing these words, “They that wait upon the LORD.” Although they that do have many blessings, we that are completely honest find it at times very difficult to do so. Especially, in a fast-paced world that expects everything to be done immediately. We pray, and we wait in faith. We don’t have a yes or a no, so we wait believing that your timing is perfect. We have seen that time and again. Praise God. We have also discovered on our journey that there are times when you just want us to patiently wait upon you so that we have time to rest in the Spirit deepening our relationship with you alone. Praise God. Help all your beloved children to realize that the timing is yours and not ours. Help them to see, Oh Lord that waiting upon you must not be an excuse for inaction or laziness. We humbly pray this in the loving Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint” (Isaiah 40:31).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/8/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. We ask ourselves why is the news media and the world so obsessed with reporting negative things about President Trump, reporting every murderous evil act on the planet and glorifying Hollywood? As we surmise that nearly every news article and Facebook post is obsessed with this reporting we are reminded once again that the children of disobedience are following the course of this world. They are continually inspired by the prince of the power of the air. We pray that thy beloved children would no longer follow or participate in this evil that’s affecting the minds of all the unbelievers. We pray that their time will be spent seeking the new life in Christ. The higher life that transcends the foolishness of this world. To seek the mind of Christ in all things. To meditate long on the beauty given to us in Christ Jesus. Let us glorify in these things. Let them be our obsession to the glory of God. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience” (Ephesians 2:2).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/7/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you, Father God of all mercies, that no matter where we are, nor how alone we may be, you are there with us in the Spirit. We pray that all thy children would anticipate your mighty presence when we quite ourselves before you the LORD of all glory. The unbelieving world cannot receive what you have so freely given us without faith. Let us tarry long in the Spirit everyday, but especially on the Lord’s Day seeking to deepen our relationship with you. Give us ears to hear what you say to us, not only for us, but for all thy beloved children. Help us to never run ahead of you or lag behind, but allowing you alone to move us in the Spirit saying what you want to say to us your people, to us your holy church. As we wait let us hear your words alone and not the words of our own vain imagination that has gripped so many in our day. Everyone has a prophecy, but very few speak for you. We love You intensely, Oh Lord. We pray this in the Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen
“I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ. I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet” (Revelation 1:9-10).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/6/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you, Father, for allowing us to pray in the Spirit. In the Spirit we feel so connected to You our Heavenly Father. Everything around us stops. Time itself is no more. What a wonderful foretaste of things to come. Thank you Lord for all prayer. What a privilege and a responsibility it is to pray for our brothers and sisters from around the world. Not just a canned script or prideful rhetoric, but something much deeper, as You, through the Spirit, lead us to pray. Let us pray today for all your beloved children who have been afflicted with a disease of the mind, specifically we are praying for those afflicted with Alzheimer’s. What have we done, Oh Lord, to have brought this dreadful disease upon us? If there is something that needs to be changed in our environment or food supply or the administering of drugs, please let us know. Help us to repent of any wrong doing so that your beloved children would be delivered from this horrible disease. We pray this in the Spirit and in the powerful Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints” (Ephesians 6:18).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/4/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. We pray that you look down on this world and open the eyes of the unbelievers. Those who have been blinded by the god of this world. They have called bad good and good they have called bad. As they rush headlong into the abyss of death and destruction they sing kumbaya believing that their love and acceptance of every man’s religion and lifestyle has made them perfect. As they follow the god of this world they look in disdain upon your holy children. Open their eyes, Oh LORD, so that the light of the glorious gospel of Christ should shine upon them. Let them also see the bright light of our transformation, becoming all that we are recreated to be in Christ Jesus. We pray that we will not join them, but let our light shine so brightly before them that they will question their blind allegiance to the powers of darkness, the god of this world. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them” (II Corinthians 4:4).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/3/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you, LORD, that you have not left us alone, but speak to us through the indwelling Spirit. We don’t hear many voices, but only one. As true believers that have a tremendous desire to do your will alone we know when you speak. We know when we are in the Spirit. We pray that all thy children would not fear what the world thinks or their negative psychological classification for hearing You, but continue to do thy will by listening to the Spirit’s direction. We pray, Oh Lord that you will continue to speak to all thy beloved children. Giving them direction in their lives and showing them the things to come. We know that your Spirit never contradicts the Bible, but opens our eyes to a greater truth that cannot be understood by the carnal mind. Praise God. Help us all to be like minded, unlike the world immersed in great confusion, but seeking only to do your will in all things. We pray this in the most holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come” (John 16:13).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/2/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. Help us Father to keep our minds from wandering from one subject to another. To keep it from dwelling on those things that are contrary to sound doctrine and holiness. Help your children to never dabble in foolishness and mind games that have no value. We pray, Oh Lord, that you help us to always gird up our minds with sound doctrine, always ready at a moments notice to share it with a confused world. A world that has embraced a foolish ideology thinking it their salvation. Let us not fear their empty canned reheroritc that can be easily diluted with the truth. We pray that all thy beloved children can easily share the hope and grace given to them by Jesus Christ. A hope that will be fulfilled at Your glorious coming. A grace that will overlook all our trespasses through forgiveness accomplished by the shedding of Your blood making us into beautiful new creations. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ” (I Peter 1:13).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/1/2018
Good morning Heavenly Father. Like coming out of dark cave to a bright light we feel that your coming is at hand. Help us, Oh Lord to use all our strength and resources for your glory working harder than ever to prepare thy children for your glorious return. As we embark on a new day in a new year we know you have many things planned that will awaken your children and bring deep conviction upon the rest of humanity to recognize You as the one true God, the Creator of all that exists. We pray that 2018 will be a year of great discovery bringing to light your eternal truth for all to see with open eyes. We pray that all your beloved children would no longer stay silent or be afraid, but speak loudly to their neighbors about your great love for a lost and dying world. About the greatest gift of all time, salvation to humanity. We pray that the silent majority will no longer remain silent. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“These are the things that ye shall do; Speak ye every man the truth to his neighbour; execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates” (Zechariah 8:16).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 12/31/2017
Good morning Heavenly Father. Decisions, decisions, decisions; we are often met with many decisions in our life. Some big and others small, but every decision is important, because it affects our standing with You. Oh Lord, we pray that you lead us to always seek your counsel first. Instead of being led by our emotions or the will of others. We always trust you to know what’s best for us and what’s best for others. Keep us from being forced by others to do something against thy perfect will. Help us to acknowledge you before others stressing how important it is to follow your will and not necessarily theirs. As we come to the end of another year, lead us to examine the many decisions we have made. Help us to see clearly which decisions were made according to thy perfect will and which ones were not. Although we may have already asked for forgiveness for our bad decisions, not according to thy will and have already suffered the consequences; help us, dear Lord to always seek your counsel going forward trusting you to direct our paths. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths” (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 12/30/2017
Good morning Heavenly Father. Well, it’s almost the start of another New Year and many of your beloved children wonder how long it will be before your wrath is poured down on this godless country. Much of the evil has retreated during the current administration, but you know that they are still there. They still speak forcefully through the news and social media. We pray that your children will not fight fire with fire, but with the light of your holiness shown forth with strength and determination. We pray, Oh Lord, that they will stop sharing the enemy’s hateful agenda and evil post, but only share your truth so that your voice can be heard. So, that it can be heard above the loud clamor of paganism. So, that it will drown out the evil voices on social media. Let us always be a force for truth and righteousness and not for evil and hatred. It doesn’t do our soul any good to constantly see their perversions. We pray this in the most Holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops” (Matthew 10:27).

Good morning Heavenly Father. We know, Oh Lord, that the time is short. The battle lines have already been drawn between the children of Light and the Sons of Darkness. Our hearts are so grieved for the lukewarm Christians, because they are so immersed in sin that they are unable to see the truth. Please Lord knock even louder on the door of their hearts so that they will hear it and open the door. We all know someone that’s a part of this group who is experiencing your rebuke and chastisement to get their attention. Lead us also to stop participating in the works of darkness that will dim our light making us ineffective in the battle. Lead us to put on the armor of light that displays your holiness to an evil world. Help us dear Lord to be strong in the battle and to never miss an opportunity to speak only the truth to a dying world. We pray this in the most holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light” (Romans 13:12).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 12/27/2017
Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you Lord for showing us in thy Holy Scripture that the true test of being a Christian is love. To love as you have always loved us. For indeed, your love never changes. We can do nothing to earn it, nor deserve it. Teach us, we pray, that we love others as you have loved us. Even when others say hateful things or persecute us for our beliefs. We pray that we even show our love to others when we are faced with reckless and uncaring drivers on our roads and interstates. Help us to truly love one another from the heart. Continue to show us, Oh Lord, how to let your love flow through us to others. By not focusing on the wrong, but focusing on your magnificent love for us and your desire to share it with other. As we do, we have learned that powerful love can also come back to you from those whom we love, making the perfect triangle of love. Praise God. We pray this in the glorious Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love” (I John 4:8).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 12/26/2017
Good morning Heavenly Father. We pray Father that you always lead us in our understanding of thy Holy Scripture. We are grieved that so many in our day who claim to be thy children have so misunderstood thy divine truth. A truth meant to set us free from our social norms and its blind embrace of evil for the sake of unity. Unlike ages past this embrace has extended to every so-called god. It has embraced every form of perversion. It has done so for the sake of peace and unity. We pray that you open the eyes of all thy children so that they can see that real peace can only be obtained through total separation from all evil and the rejection of other so-called gods. Indeed, our total embrace of holiness will separate us from an evil world and will be like a sword in the land. We pray that through separation from an evil world and the belief in your Gospel that they will find true peace. We pray this in the most Holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword” (Matthew 10:34).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 12/24/2017
Good morning Heavenly Father. As we humble ourselves on Christmas Eve we are mindful of that first Christmas where the King of Heaven, the Divine Son of God came in the lowliest of conditions to be the true Savior of all humanity. His first ministry was to the poorest shepherds tending their flocks while the wealthiest of Kings came to honor Him. We pray that all thy beloved children would look beyond the Christmas trappings of a selfish world to the humble beginnings of our Savior who came from glory. Remind them to pause much in humble adoration of our blessed Savior. Indeed, you inhabit the praise of thy creation. Let this be a time of true service one to another utilizing our Spiritual gifts to the glory of God. Indeed, the true gift of the season is not what goes under the tree, but what goes into the heart of man, the love of God made manifest through His indwelling Spirit. We pray that all thy children feel this magnificent love allowing it to flow through them to others. We pray this in the holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn” (Luke 2:7).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 12/23/2017
Good morning Heavenly Father. We fall prostrate before you today in the Spirit not knowing how to pray or what to pray. All we do know is we long to be in thy presence. There is nothing on earth that can satisfy that longing. Not social media, not entertainment, not even our closest friends can satisfy that longing. So, we come as we are; heavy hearted, unsure, questioning and drifting from one thought to another. But we come hoping that you will clear things up as your Spirit intercedes with ours. As we quite ourselves before you we begin to experience the peace first, that defies understanding as calmness enters our soul with great joy just knowing that you are here with us. Praise God. Now our prayers can begin to take shape as you impress upon us what’s really important in life. Thank you, Father God, for giving us your Spirit to always dwell with us to make intercession with our spirit. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered” (Romans 8:26).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 12/22/2017
Good morning Heavenly Father. Oh Lord, teach us to hope against hope as our distant forefather did. Even when it seemed impossible he still hoped. And as he hoped he set out from his own country putting action to his hope. Demonstrating his faith in the promise. Help us in these dark days to do the same. To hope against hope. As we view the political horizon and the real probability that the evil empire and liberal administration will come back to power with vengeance against the evangelical Christians we pray that we hope against hope. We pray that we no longer rely on the political debate, but return to the tried and proven Gospel truth. The only thing that will open the eyes of an evil nation bent on removing You from every segment of society. Give us strength to live out our hope as righteous believers in the midst of a wicked world. Help us to hope against hope. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be” (Romans 4:18).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 12/21/2017
Good morning Heavenly Father. As we enter our prayer closet today we are mindful of the limit that many place upon helping others or caring for them in the time of need. Perhaps in their mind they say, “that’s all I can do.” Whatever compassion they demonstrate in many respects is simply a show for others. For most there is little staying power. Indeed, it’s better to trust in you, Oh Lord, rather than put our trust in man. For indeed you are truly good all the time, because your mercy endures forever. Thank you Lord for your everlasting compassion upon all thy children. A loving heart that truly cares about their well being all the time. Thank you Lord that your mercy always moves your compassion to act in our best interest. For indeed your mercy is described as ‘compassion in action.’ We pray that our compassion for others will always move us to act. To alleviate their suffering by simply being there with them – an act of compassion in the loneliest time of the year. We pray this in the loving Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever” (Psalms 118:1).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 12/20/2017
Good morning Heavenly Father. Although we are entering late into our prayer closet today, we feel compelled to publish yet another prayer for your glory. We are deeply saddened that so many of your dear children are still cast about by every wind of doctrine and false prophecy. They continue to chase after every new teaching or prophetic proclamation that weakens their faith, dashes their hope, creates further confusion. We pray that you will raise up Godly teachers and preachers that only desire to speak the truth and not make a name for themselves or line their pockets with profit. We pray that you give all your beloved children great discernment in these last days to not judge your Word with scientific discovery or vain imagination, but learn how to rightly divide the truth of God. Understanding the type of literature, it’s motive, its context and its historical relevance to properly divide the word of truth; significant for the proper application for the hearer. We pray this in the most holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth” (II Timothy 2:15).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 12/19/2017
Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you Lord for the beautiful vision of Heaven. It was like rising out of the dark clouds of a violent storm to a bright sunlight sky that stretches on to eternity. What a gloriously warm feeling. Everything is pure and uncontaminated by evil. The most remarkable thing is it’s our future that has always been there waiting for us. In the future which already exists the battle against evil has already been won. Praise God. We pray that we live every moment on earth in the present time with anticipation of our glorious future with You. Let us not fear evil for indeed you have already overcome it. We pray that you help all thy beloved children to see how powerful love is in our fight against evil. Help them to look beyond their present struggles and take hope in our future, but also the strong and mighty Spirit that dwells in each true believer in-Christ. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world” (I John 4:4).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 12/18/2017
Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you Lord for being a loving Father who always knows what’s best for His children. How many times over the years we have asked for things and have not received them. At the time we may have been deeply saddened, questioning if you had heard our request. At other times we had been ridiculed by so called Spiritual Christians claiming that we just didn’t have enough faith. We praise you Lord that you have taught us that you really know what’s best by withholding those things that would hurt us in the long run. We praise you that instead of giving us the wrong things you gave us everything else we needed for life and godliness. You turned our sadness into peace and joy. Thank you, Father, that we can keep asking for what we want, but our faith is in you who always knows what’s best for His beloved children. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?” (Matthew 7:11).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 12/17/2017
Good morning Heavenly Father. “God will not be mocked.” We hear those words so strong this morning. Hollywood, the liberals, and those on the West Coast of the United States must hear today that God will not be mocked. Let’s you repent soon heat waves and fires are just the beginning. What’s on the horizon will be even more horrifying let’s you repent. So, we beseech you in the Name of Christ to repent of your mockery and recognize God as the Creator of all that exists. He is not blind to your mockery. He has seen your immorality in the streets. He has seen your many movies denying His existence. So, please we beg of you to repent today and recognize the only True God of your salvation. For it is written that a man will reap what he has sown. For many years now, you have sown every form of perversion from homosexuality to the transgender. You have become fools by denying your God. This is your last chance to repent. We pray this in the most holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap” (Galatians 6:7).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 12/16/2017
Good morning Heavenly Father. It breaks my heart that so many who claim to know you have been deceived. Any talk of the coming Antichrist sends them into a fit of rage or denial, claiming that they won’t be here, so why discuss it. Yet, they fail to see that your beloved children will recognize the Antichrist before your return in glory. They fail to see the relationship between the falling away and the revealing of the son of perdition or the dreaded Antichrist. As the Day approaches we pray that you will strengthen your faithful remnant. Keep them from being swept away by the great deception that will overtake the entire world. Open their eyes so that they will recognize the evil one or the son of perdition when he takes his position of leadership. Above all we pray that you will keep them from falling away and denying your truth in the Holy Scripture. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition” (II Thessalonians 2:3).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 12/15/2017
Good morning Heavenly Father. We pray Father God that all your beloved children will remember, especially this time of the year, that it’s more blessed to give than receive. We pray that our giving will be much more than gifts in Christmas wrap. That it will be much more than Christmas cards. That it will even be much more than writing a check. We pray that our giving will be of ourselves. Coming alongside to comfort and encourage. To give our time to others. To the weak let us lift their spirits by meeting their needs. To work with our own hands to make their life a bit easier. Let us not get caught up in the pagan festivities to give so that we too can receive. Oh, what joy it is to give without expecting anything in return. The blessing we receive is beyond words. We pray, Oh Lord, that all thy children will experience this blessing, for indeed it is more blessed to give than receive. We pray this in the most holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“In every way I showed you that by working hard like this we should help the weak and remember the words that the Lord Jesus himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive’” (Acts 20:35).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 12/14/2017
We come ever so humbly before you today our King and our Lord. Thank you, Father, for always being there when we need you most. Perhaps the world can call it chance or just good luck when things work out for the best. Unfortunately, they are also there during the hard times as well mocking us by asking us, where is your God now. However, what they fail to see is that you had never left. For indeed you are always with us through the indwelling Spirit continuing to give us comfort, direction, and the assurance that you know what’s best for your beloved children. Moreover, we have peace that defies understanding. Something the world always longs for, but can never truly receive apart from the indwelling Spirit. We pray that all your children would truly experience this benefit by not grieving the Holy Spirit. By not grieving Him through participation in immorality or by denying his presence. We pray this in the Blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“Do not grieve the Holy Spirit, by whom you were marked with a seal for the day of redemption” (Ephesians 4:30).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 12/11/2017
Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you Lord for another beautiful and productive day. We enter our prayer closet today with great joy in our hearts. We always find it amazing how intrinsically these two facts are related, beautiful and productive. Productivity and direction in one’s life brings great joy making everything beautiful, which is diametrically opposed to being depressed or having a proverbial bad day. Thank you, Father, for teaching us that we were not created to be idle or as the Proverbs refers to as the sluggard. We were, on the other hand, created for good works and a Workman approved by God. So, we pray Lord that you motivate your children to stay busy and focused on their work. We pray that they will see their work and that it encourages them to get up and get busy saying, “This is the day that the Lord has made; let’s rejoice and be glad in it.” We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“This is the day that the LORD has made; let’s rejoice and be glad in it” (Psalms 118:24).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 12/10/2017
Good morning Heavenly Father. Oh Lord, how did we as a people ever reduce worship to a few hours one or two days a week. We pray Father that you teach all your beloved children how to worship You in the Spirit seven days a week. For indeed You are worthy of our worship all the time. Thank you, Father, for showing us that only complete surrender to You as Lord will ever allow us to be truly in the Spirit. And it’s only the truth that keeps us in the Spirit making it possible to worship You as we should. The truth that You have given us everything we need for life and godliness making it possible to have total dependence on You alone. So, please help thy children to discover all this truth from Holy Scripture as You lead them through the indwelling Spirit. We pray that we will always worship You in both Spirit and in truth. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth” (John 4:23-24).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 12/9/2017
Good morning Heavenly Father. You know, Oh Lord how much we detest testing and especially the times of temptations that may arise from our old sin nature. Although we know testing is important to strengthen our faith and dependence on You alone, we can still say we don’t like it much. So, you have taught us that we can pray daily that you would not lead us into these periods of testing and that You would not allow us to be tempted by our old sin nature or the devil. We know that the devil is on a short leash and that he must obey your commands. So, please we ask that you keep the old tempter at bay or give us spiritual strength to resist him. For we are not unaware of his many wiles. We pray for all thy beloved children who have not done well in resisting him nor have they fared well in allowing your testing to strengthen their faith. Oh Lord, we beseech you to open their eyes and give them strength to resist. We pray this in the most holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen” (Matthew 6:13).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 12/8/2017
Good morning Heavenly Father. We pray, Oh Lord that all your beloved children never experience the agony and guilt of unforgiveness that blocks your forgiveness to us. On the other hand, the power of forgiveness makes all things new. For indeed you have taught us that true forgiveness from the heart, and not just from the mouth, brings healing to our soul. For indeed it removes the hurt. A hurt so bad it felt as though our heart had been ripped out and we were left void of all feelings. Yet, the numbness is only short lived, because we have discovered that true forgiveness allows you to bring healing to our soul and a sincere love from a heart that has been restored. A powerful love even to those who had hurt us. Truly this is a miracle. Amen. We pray that all thy children experience the joy and freedom of extending true forgiveness to others. We pray this in the most holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses” (Matthew 6:14-15).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 12/7/2017
Good morning Heavenly Father. After two thousand years Lord it doesn’t look like we have changed much. Even many of your beloved children are trapped and blinded by the enemy unwilling to look beyond their comfortable beliefs. Unwilling to see if there is a deeper meaning. Unwilling to allow you to expand their understanding. They have become so assured of their knowledge, especially their religious knowledge that they viciously attack the prophets and teachers sent by you to open their eyes. Yes, nothing has changed much in two thousand years when we are willing to attack what we don’t understand. When we are willing to persecute others without looking deeper into the matter. To listen for more than 30 seconds without running away clasping our ears. To read beyond the first paragraph with an open and teachable spirit. Yet they spend countless hours listening to the false prophets being blown about by every wind of doctrine. We pray that all your children will look deeper into your teachings to discover the truth, for its only the truth that will set them free. We pray this in the glorious Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots” (Luke 23:34).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 12/5/2017
Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you Lord when indecisions finally come with clarity and decisiveness. Praise the Lord. Teach us, Oh Lord to always wait on you before pressing ahead with our own intellect believing we have considered all the facts. We have painfully discovered that we must wait upon the Lord even if it takes a very long time. But we do so with the knowledge that you always know what’s best. We have seen time and again how you miraculously work out everything to the good. When we grow impatient and want to press ahead with our own plans please remind us of this fact. We know in time you will show us the right way and the decision will be solidified in our thinking. It brings great joy and strength when we are finally confident in the correct decision, for indeed we do feel as though, we can mount up with wings as eagles, shall run, and not be weary; and shall walk, and not faint” We pray this in the beloved Name of Jesus Christ our Lord; who has not forgotten us. Amen
“But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint” (Isaiah 40:31).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 12/4/2017
Good morning Heavenly Father. As we enter our prayer closet today we are reminded of not proclaiming our prayers on the street corner to be seen by men. We are sure this also applies to posting our prayers on social media and our websites. Although we believe our more personal prayers are just between us, and that these prayers are more of a homily for the people. Specifically, for thy beloved children to help them in their Spiritual growth. We pray Father that you will continue to lead us in these public prayers that serve as a homily for thy children. We pray that everything we write either in comment or blog articles will always serve to edify. To build up other believers in Christ. We pray that all we do will be for your glory for we proclaim now that we have no power in ourselves to produce anything that would truly help others to be all you want them to be. We pray this in the beloved Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly” (Matthew 6:6).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 12/3/2017
Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you, LORD, for giving us one day in seven. Not to play. Not to attend or watch the games, but truly a day of rest. You have created us and have told us how important it is to rest on the seventh day. We must have time to regenerate. Not only physically, but emotionally and psychologically. You have even showed us the best way, the only way, to do that – through our religious exercise. It’s absolutely essential that we have our quiet time before You, Oh Lord. A time to praise. A time to listen to thy Holy Word. A time to meditate upon thy Word. A time to worship in song. A time to offer up heart felt prayers in the Spirit. It’s all for you, but also for our wellbeing. Indeed, a time to regenerate by doing everything in the Spirit. A renewal of our mind, body, and emotions. Praise God. Thank you, Father, for our lives and giving us the Spirit so that we can live out life to its fullest. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“Six days thou shalt work, but on the seventh day thou shalt rest: in earing time and in harvest thou shalt rest” (Exodus 34:21).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 12/2/2017
Good morning Heavenly Father. Open our ears Oh Lord so that we can hear what the Spirit is saying to the Church. We pray Father that we stop filling our minds with so many things that we drown out what your still small voice is saying to the Church. Yes, so many voices in the world with everyone loving to hear themselves talk. From entertainment to social media everyone is talking, but very few are listening. Teach us dear Lord how to listen. Really listen. Help us to empty our minds of all frivolous and self- absorbing thoughts. The worldly church has lost its way. They no longer seek the Spiritual realm but consider it an age-old practice of the mystics. They concern themselves more with technological advancements rather than the depth of spirituality. We pray that we will not follow the world in its empty quest nor the lukewarm church unwilling to enter into the depth of her spirituality. Help us to keep in step with the Spirit by opening our ears so we can hear what the Spirit says to the Church. We pray this in the most beloved Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches” (Revelation 3:22).
Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 12/1/2017
Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you, Father, for giving us your Spirit, which is a true mark of being a Christian. Although we live in the flesh, we can only please thee by being in the Spirit. Thank you, Father, for giving us the Spirit when we completely surrendered to you as Lord. As the Supreme Ruler of our lives. The more we die in the flesh the more we experience You in the Spirit. Thank you for teaching us how to commune with thy Spirit as we remain quiet before thee in deep meditation. Indeed, this is the greatest joy we can ever experience to feel your Words in the Holy Scripture come to life. To understand the deeper meaning and how to apply it to our lives. No matter what happens, even if we are thrown into the deepest and darkest dungeon nothing can separate us from thy Spirit. Nothing can separate us from thy love. We pray that all thy beloved children would experience this great joy of being in the Spirit. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
“So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his” (Romans 8:8-9).
