Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 6/24/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father, glory be to thy Holy Name. We know that one of the hallmarks of Christianity is giving, not grudgingly, but willingly from a heart of love. We pray, Oh Lord, that all our giving would be from a willing heart. All giving, not just money, but the giving of ourselves. You have given all your blessed children many great and wonderful gifts, not to be tightly held onto, but to be given as others have needs. We pray that we would never withhold a prayer, a word of encouragement, an exhortation, or our precious time spent walking with them along life’s narrow way. Not all giving is monetary. Thank you, Father God, for never expecting us to give what we don’t have, but only what we do. We pray that all your beloved children would examine what they have financially and what they have spiritually. Let them all look deep within and see what they have, what can be given to others, willingly for your glory. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“For if there be first a willing mind, it is accepted according to that a man hath, and not according to that he hath not” (II Corinthians 8:12).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 6/23/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. We so love coming into your presence every day. We cannot even imagine living without doing so. Thank you for your Word that sheds light upon the early church and how deeply they loved one another. Thank you, LORD, for always giving us an opportunity to participate in these special collections for the saints even unto this day. We pray that none of your beloved children, the world over, called by your name, would be allowed to go hungry. We pray this especially when we have it in our power to give freely as you have so graciously prospered us. Oh, what a sign this is for the pagans that live among us to see how generously your blessed children give to one another to keep any from going hungry. Thank you, LORD, that you have so graciously prospered us so that we can put our money aside for these special collections. Praise God that our indwelling Spirit will always lead us in our giving bringing glory to you, our Father in Heaven. We pray this in the glorious Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, even so do ye. Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come” (I Corinthians 16:1-2).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 6/22/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you, LORD, for the great principles in holy scripture that we can live by, principles that if tested will always prove true. Praise God. You have showed us many times in the past that we simply cannot out give you, for the more we give, the more we receive. What a blessed miracle to receive money from places that we had forgotten, from people we never knew or from debts that had been reduced. Praise the Lord. What a joy it is to give out of our meagerness to see the impact of our giving on others. We may not always get to see the impact of our giving immediately or at all, but we trust you Lord to let our giving meet their real needs. We pray, Oh Lord, that you will always lead us through the indwelling Spirit to have great discernment in our giving, to freely give to those of your choosing. Although we may not always see the wisdom in our giving, but if led by the Spirit we give freely trusting in You. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver” (II Corinthians 9:6-7).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 6/21/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Dear LORD, help us to be all things to all people so that they would be saved. Often times we have discovered that your children who are called by your name have indeed caused others to be offended by their actions or behavior. Although we as Christians have the liberty, we pray that we would never use that liberty to cause others to stumble or not be open to receive the message of Christ. Although we may have many great and wonderful Spiritual gifts, we pray that those gifts would never be used to cause others to stumble or not be open to receive the message of Christ. We pray that you would help us to always fully give ourselves to others, not for our profit, but for theirs, so that they would be saved. Help us, Oh Lord, to never offend a fellow Christian nor an unbeliever if he be a Jew, a Hindu, or a Muslim, so that all might be saved. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Give none offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God: Even as I please all men in all things, not seeking mine own profit, but the profit of many, that they may be saved” (I Corinthians 10:32-33).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 6/20/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. We come humbly before you as children asking that you teach us how to read the Holy Scriptures handed down to us by our forefathers. Give your children great patience to stay with your Word, reading more fully to understand the wider context of what they are reading. Lead them to read and understand the history and culture of the period to help them to see what it meant to the first recipients. Open their eyes to see the different kinds of literature in the Bible. Above all fill thy beloved children with the Holy Spirit while reading thy Word so they can interpret its true meaning and application for their lives. We pray that they all would perceive the great doctrines without adding to or subtracting from your sacred text. We pray that all your blessed children learn to clearly articulate the Gospel from Holy Scripture in their exhortations. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine” (I Timothy 4:13).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 6/19/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. As we enter our prayer closet early this morning before the sunrise we so enjoy seeing the sky gradually become lighter. Almost nothing is moving this early as silence settles over the earth. What joy it brings to our heart that we burst out in thanksgiving for all that You have given to us. Thank you, Lord for allowing us to see the beauty in everything that you have created. We pray that you will help all your children to be thankful always for all things, even things not so beautiful touched by sinful man and his ugly embrace. Help us to look beyond the filth and tragedy to see the heart of God, knowing that you can make all things beautiful, that you can work all things together for good. Praise God. So, we have learned to be thankful always in all things, looking well beyond the surface to see the hand of God at work. We pray this in the glorious Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ” (Ephesians 5:20).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 6/18/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you for being our Heavenly Father giving us wise counsel from your Word to both guide and protect. Thank you for our earthly fathers who have attempted to do the same. We pray, Oh Lord, that your beloved children would recognize all the snares of the devil from unchecked anger and lust to greed, which is idolatry. Help us all to recognize that Satan’s best laid snares have the appearance of good counsel to help your children with their emotional and psychological problems. Help us to give no place to the devil, but to trust you alone as our loving Father to give us everything we need for life and godliness. We pray that we would always follow your counsel and turn away from the entrapment of sin and not give the devil a foothold. Thank you for your Fatherly love. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Neither give place to the devil” (Ephesians 4:26-27).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 6/17/2017

As we enter our prayer closet this morning we are mindful of the many silent Christians in the world, which deeply grieves our hearts. For many it’s quite easy to post Scripture on social media and even sort of contend for the faith, but remain absolutely silent among their peers at work or among their family and friends. We pray, Oh Lord, that you give all your children in every situation boldness to contend for the faith. To speak forth the basic principles of our faith with confidence and assurance that they are true. To earnestly contend through well-defined arguments and personal testimony. To do so in true love and concern for those in whom we are sharing our faith. Above all, we pray that all your children everywhere constantly look for every opportunity to share and contend for their faith as directed by the indwelling Spirit. Give us ears to hear what the Spirit says. We pray this in the most holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints” (Jude 3).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 6/16/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father, Holy and Righteous is your Name. We have all complained or argued publicly in the earshot of pagans and babes in-Christ, and for that we ask for forgiveness. In fact, all complaining (or murmuring) and arguing (or disputing) is out of place for the Christian, because we are children of light in a very dark world. We pray, Oh Lord, that you remind us through the indwelling Holy Spirit with deep conviction when we violate this command. Help us to always go the extra mile and turn the other cheek with others as your beloved children. Help us to do whatever is necessary to avoid disputing or arguing with others, especially in public, which includes social media. Help us, Oh Lord, to never vent our anger, complain, or murmur to others, especially in public, which includes social media. In all things let us be children of light and holiness. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Do all things without murmurings and disputings” (Philippians 2:14).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 6/15/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. We are so thankful for all that you have given to us, (or allowed) both the good and the bad, knowing that everything is used to strengthen us to stand in the Day. We humbly accept everything that you give us not to ever magnify ourselves, but to give you all the credit, for indeed it has come from thy blessed hand. Not only do we give you credit for all our works and for all that we accomplish in your Name, but we do it to glorify you our God. When we truly become nothing then you become everything through us. Praise God. As you magnify yourself with the brilliance of thought, action, and beauty through us in powerful words and song let us never take the credit or the glory from man, but give you all the credit as we humbly glorify you. We pray that everything that we do, we do it all to the glory of God. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God” (I Corinthians 10:31).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 6/14/2017

As we enter our prayer closet this morning we are reminded of the many, very many babes in Christ who have not been fed on the pure sincere, milk of thy Word. They have learned well the teachings of their church or group of followers, but have neglected the first principles of our faith. We are so grieved that they can quote by rote their foolish babbling, but unable to articulate the simple Gospel. We are so grieved that many babes in-Christ are so easily led astray by every wind of doctrine and false prophecy they hear. We pray that we would be alert to the babes in-Christ and work ever harder to instill in them the first principles, the sincere milk of thy Holy Word. Let us not join them in their foolish babbling without truly helping them to taste to see that the LORD is truly good and gracious. Help us, Oh Lord, to always be sensitive to the spiritual needs of others. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious” (I Peter 2:2-3).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 6/13/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Today we have a very special prayer request for some dear friends headed out on mission tomorrow. A mission to witness, encourage, teach, and be a living example of the Christian faith. We pray that the mission team will be sensitive to the leading of thy Holy Spirit quick to make changes to their itinerary, topics for teaching, new opportunities for witness, or extending time needed for personal encouragement. We pray, Oh Lord, that you give them all physical and emotional strength to perform their task with godly wisdom and determination. We pray that you provide for their personal needs and times of rest and relaxation; above all, we pray for their protection from the enemy as well as any hostile force that wishes to do them harm. We pray for the local pastors and leaders to accept their responsibility to look after the needs of the mission team while ensuring their safety. We pray for a special blessing on the mission team of Teresa, Kelly, and Ken as we ordain them and send them on their way. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away” (Acts 13:3).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 6/12/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. You know that we as your beloved children do not like trials, affliction, persecution, or suffering of any kind. On the other hand, you have taught us to rejoice, because of their eternal benefit. You have taught us if we allow them to have their full effect then our faith will be strengthened in the same way as metal passes through the flames to remove the dross. Forgive your beloved children Father when they cry out to you in deep agony and faithlessness unwilling to allow it to have its full effect. We pray that you would help us all to be stronger and more courageous when facing various trials. We pray, Oh Lord, that we would have true joy in our hearts knowing that every trial will strengthen our faith drawing us ever closer to you and that alone is the greatest joy ever. Praise God. We pray this in the most loving Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience” (James 1:2-3).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 6/11/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. As you know Father we are living in a melting pot of religious ideologies, non-religious philosophies, and a deluge of false prophets, which is all made worse by social media and the internet. It’s most difficult for your beloved children to come out from the world, which deeply grieves our hearts. Most are held in bondage swayed continuously by every wind of doctrine, always finding fault and never arriving at a solid theological foundation. We pray for all thy blessed children from around the world to come out from among them by returning to the all sufficient Word of God alone with nothing added to it. Lead them, Oh Lord, to cast off all their foolish sayings, customs, and practices that are not a part of thy Holy Word. Give them all courage to rebuke those who are adding to thy Word – the Holy Bible. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty” (II Corinthians 6:17-18).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 6/10/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you, LORD, that you have given to each of thy precious children the shield of faith to extinguish the fiery darts of the evil one. As we carry this shield into battle it becomes our confidence that you are with us always no matter how difficult the struggle. Help us, Oh Lord, to never throw away our confidence when we grow tired of fighting one battle after another. Help us to never cast away our confidence when we grow weary of continually giving our resources to others with no remarkable results. We pray, Oh Lord, that you help us to recall the great joy we receive now in our victorious battles and in our unfettered giving to others. Hep us to recall the outstanding promise of our reward in heaven so we don’t throw away our confidence. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward” (Hebrews 10:35).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 6/9/2017

Holy Righteous Father we come ever so humbly before you this morning. When we think about how much you care for us it brings rivers of tears to our eyes. We are always at awe concerning your magnificent love. Help us, Oh Lord, to bring all our cares to you one by one with confidence that each will be addressed in your time. You have shown us as a loving Father shows His child that every care request may not be the best thing for us, so we have learned to trust you. Amen. Thank you, LORD, for also showing us that a care request today may be no longer necessary tomorrow for circumstances have changed. Praise God, that you always know what’s best. Nevertheless, as your beloved children we continue to cast all our pain and suffering, both physical and emotional, upon you who truly cares for us. We pray this in the loving Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you” (I Peter 5:7).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 6/8/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. How glorious are all your ways. We know at times waiting on you is the hardest thing ever, especially when you seem so quiet. It’s at these times that you strengthen our faith allowing us to recall and meditate upon thy beautiful all sufficient Word. We dare not strike out on our own to solve our problems, but we wait upon you. In so doing we have seen many wonderful miracles that brings great joy strengthening our faith. Although the miracles may appear to be small to some, to us it’s enough knowing that you’re here working in our lives overcoming obstacles. We pray that all thy beloved children would learn to wait upon you to solve their problems rather than turning to the world’s counsel. We pray this in the faithful Name of Jesus Christ Our Lord. Amen

“But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint” (Isaiah 40:31).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 6/7/2017

Holy Righteous Father we come humbly into thy presence this morning. We always long to do what’s right, please give us courage to do it. Although we don’t normally use the term Godspeed, we use terms that mean the same by wishing them well, by blessing them, or saying shalom. Forgive us Father when we do, because if we extend these blessings to those who spread their false teachings then we are encouraging them in their work. We pray that instead of blessing, lead us to rebuke the false teachers with the hope that they repent. And if they don’t repent then we pray, Oh Lord, that you give us the courage to separate ourselves from them. We pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him Godspeed is partaker of his evil deeds” (II John 1:10-11).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 6/6/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you for your abiding love that keeps us steadfast in the things we have been taught. We pray, Oh Lord, that when the wicked come against your beloved children, making false accusations, let not their evil scams or false theology unsettle them or lead them into error. We pray that the wicked will not be able to pull thy precious children down, but you, Oh LORD, will keep them in thy Holy Word, always responding and behaving as your righteous followers. Help us to never learn the ways of the wicked or stay long from the beautiful teachings of thy Holy Word. When we walk among the wicked or those who proudly proclaim their false theology guard our ears filtering out all that is not true. Keep us, Oh LORD, from backsliding, thus missing all the wonderful blessings that you have planned for us. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness” (II Peter 3:17).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 6/5/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. What a glorious morning to come before thee with such great joy in our hearts. Thank you for the wonderful life that you have given us. You have given us freedom from the power of sin. You have rescued us from the bondages of our past life allowing it to pass away. You have put love and mercy into our hearts for you and our fellow man. You have given us an indescribable joy, which all together makes us more than satisfied with all that we have. We pray, Oh Lord, that all your beloved children in every country be satisfied with all that you have given to them and not covet the world’s merchandise and goods. Let our possessions be few and our mercy toward others abound to the glory of God. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man’s life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth” (Luke 12:15).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 6/4/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you for your many instructions or commands to believers, never to be used as a path to righteousness, for we have already been saved by grace through faith. Thank you, LORD, for thy commands do help us to stay on the narrow path, keep us safe from the many dangers in the world, and teach us how to love you and our fellow man. Step by step, help us, Oh Lord, to hide all thy commands along with the rest of thy Word in our hearts. Thank you, LORD, for teaching us in your Word and through thy Spirit that we can recognize evil men and false prophets by their desire for money, fame, selfishness, and pride. Help us to beware of such men by avoiding them at all cost, by not associating with them or following them in their evil deeds and manipulation of Holy Scripture. We pray this is Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues” (Matthew 10:17).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 6/3/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Great awakening or great deception fills the air as we lean closer to You. Our hearts desire an awakening among all your precious children, but our minds see the horror of deception on the horizon. Please, we cry out to you, Oh Lord, help us to recognize the false prophets among us, for indeed it is difficult when they are dressed in sheep’s clothing. Give our hearts great discernment when they speak our spiritual language, quote your beautiful Scripture, and appear to be righteous at least on the outside. You have told us plainly the things to come, which have been either twisted or totally ignored by many who claim to know You. This breaks our hearts. So, please bless our efforts in helping your end time saints to stand firm against the coming deception and expose the false prophets who are among us. We pray this in the Blessed Name of Jesus Christ Our Lord. Amen

“Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves” (Matthew 7:15).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 6/2/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you, LORD, for your wonderful grace that has done so much in our lives, making us into beautiful new creations through faith. Praise God. We are so grieved that many of your beloved children are influenced by strange doctrines promising them what you have already given to us by your grace. They easily add to your Holy Word some magical formula hoping that helps, but has no value. Tears form in our eyes as we think of your precious children that have allowed their lives destroyed by the strange doctrines of psychology and their ministering of psychiatric drugs, which have no value. We pray, Oh Lord, that you will open their eyes allowing them to escape their bondage so that they can experience a new life in-Christ with all its benefits. We pray this in the powerful Name of Jesus Christ our Lord who gave us new life where old things will pass away. Amen

“Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein” (Hebrews 13:9).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 6/01/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you for calling us through faith to be your missionaries and ambassadors for Christ. Although each of us have our own calling, we are all called to serve with integrity, strength, and determination. We pray, Oh Lord, that we will be unlike the slothful, but be an example for others to follow in our continuous work to build the Kingdom and bring glory to your Name. When we go through the fires of affliction we may slow up, but we don’t give up. We pray that immediately we would get back to the task at hand, working ever harder, utilizing our Spiritual gifts, and following our higher calling in You Oh Lord. Let us never be named among the slothful, who think they have their ticket to heaven and have decided in their own mind to leave the work to others. We pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises” (Hebrews 6:12).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 5/31/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. You know, Oh Lord, the people who have caused us to become weary in doing well. You have observed their laziness always depending on others for their support. You have seen their dishonesty in playing the system or claiming to be someone they’re not to rob us of our charity. We know that this has caused some of your beloved children to grow weary in doing good, not knowing who to trust. We pray that all your children would have great discernment in helping others and not allow unscrupulous people to cause them to grow bitter or to weary in doing well. We pray that your beloved children not grow weary in doing well even if others don’t join them in their giving. Let us all be courageous in our doing well even if others don’t join us, for indeed you have always loved a cheerful giver. Praise God. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing” (II Thessalonians 3:13).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 5/30/2017

Holy Righteous Father we fall down before you this morning seeking your comfort and healing. One wonders how to pray when feeling so bad. We know that you are there listening to our agony and deep groans of despair. You created everything to be perfect, but now we are less than the original design. We are tarnished with the ugly marks of sin suffering its unbearable consequences. We long for heaven where all sickness and disease will no longer exists; where imagination can become reality, where we can enjoy the freedom of running hand in hand through windswept grass with our sweetheart set free from the bondages of this world. But for now, Oh Lord, we pray for your grace to endure the pain, asking that you use every affliction to strengthen our faith. Help us to always think outside ourselves ministering to the needs of all. We pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry” (II Timothy 4:5).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 5/29/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. We really don’t want to be selfish in our prayers. When our human body starts to break down with age or disease our first thoughts return to our needs and desires to heal this broken body. Forgive us for cherishing this body beyond the real needs of others. Give us ears to hear their cries of anguish, give us eyes to see their turmoil, give us hearts to enter their domain to touch the strings of their hearts, to be there for them in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Help us to look beyond our own broken bodies. No matter what happens in our life, the ministry to others never stops. Thank you, Jesus, for showing us that real strength is gained from helping others in their affliction. That our sadness and self-concern is replaced with great joy when we offer ourselves to others in need. Praise God from whom all blessings flow. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God” (II Corinthians 1:3-4).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 5/28/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. What a beautiful morning it is in Texas as we enter our prayer closet. We cannot even imagine anymore what it would be like starting our day without you putting your righteous communication into our hearts. We spend so much time turning away from those who spread their evil communication like a virus effecting everything it comes into contact. From the spoken word through videos and in person to the written word we must constantly be aware that any evil or unethical communication can have a profound effect upon our good character displayed by corrupt manners. We pray, Oh Lord, that you give us the strength and determination to turn off the TV, stop the video, close the book, delete the comment and walk away from those who would corrupt our good manners with their evil communication. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners” (I Corinthians 15:33).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 5/27/2017

Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. When we think about the many children in our world being led astray it deeply grieves our hearts. Most children are so impressionable and will believe whatever they are taught. They will believe the lie taught by their parents or by their professors of higher learning without ever questioning what they’re being taught. We are losing an entire generation of our children to the enemy. What a tragedy. We pray that every parent and every grandparent teach their children to seek after the truth. For indeed it’s only the truth that will set them free. We pray that we will help them to grow up in their understanding by rejecting the many lies about creationism, psychology, liberalism, and the uniting of all religions together as one, under the banner of globalism. Help us, Oh Lord, to be men and women of understanding being an example of critical thinking. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Brethren, be not children in understanding: howbeit in malice be ye children, but in understanding be men” (I Corinthians 14:20).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 5/26/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Reminiscing over our walk with you, we are reminded of the many times that we desired to be in your perfect will. Most times we wanted proof, we wanted a word from you, either through a Scripture that warmed our hearts or through the still small voice from thy Holy Spirit. We wanted confirmation. Thank you, Oh Lord, that this confirmation is possible if we only follow thy direction through the infallible, all sufficient Word – the Bible. Praise God. Continue to show us how to come out from the world and to immerse our thoughts into the things of God and not of the world. Oh, how much time we spend following the ways of the world and not your magnificent Way. Please forgive us and help us to get back on track. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God” (Romans 12:2).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 5/25/2017

We come humbly before you, the Lord of heaven and earth, with godly fear in our hearts and with great joy in our spirits knowing that you have saved us from the fiery pit of hell giving us the blessed assurance of heaven. No matter what happens in this life we know that you are always with us even as evil men try to frighten us by cutting our human life short. If we are being persecuted encourage us to love our tormentors by attempting to witness even with our last breath. Help us to always be strong, Oh Lord, by demonstrating our faith in every dangerous situation with no fear in our hearts for what men or circumstances can cause. Allow our faith to be a witness to all, allow our joy to be sincere. We know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual powers that wish to destroy our faith. We will stand firm in our faith by your grace. We pray this in the powerful Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him” (Luke 12:4-5).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 5/24/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. If we are looking for the applause of men then surly we have our reward, but if we seek the recognition of God then let thy prayer be secret. Oh Lord, when others ask for prayers or have others ask for them let it not be done in pretense, but in sincerity to have private, secret prayers offered on their behalf. When we offer our prayers, Oh Lord, let them not be lengthily filled with repetition, rhyming, and excessive adjectives to amaze others by giving them the impression of our supposed holiness, but always let them be simple from our heart, led by thy Spirit, not for man’s praise, but for your glory alone. We thank you Lord for when we bow to pray we enter heaven to be seen by you alone, which is a far better thing than being applauded by men here upon the earth. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward” (Matthew 6:5).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 5/23/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. We come humbly into thy presence seeking your strength and encouragement as we stand firm in our faith. As we are fully awake and cast all our cares upon you, help us to be watchful and alert for the enemy. Indeed, he does not always come as an angel of light, but as a roaring lion. Indeed, the devil looks for every opportunity to falsely accuse, to arrest, and to persecute your beloved children around the world. We pray for thy precious children in every country to be vigilant, always looking, always watching, being always careful to walk in righteousness and obedient to all thy blessed commands. If persecution or suffering comes at the hand of the enemy let it not be, because of our unrighteous behavior. Let us not be caught unawares, but fully awake. We pray this in the powerful Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour” (I Peter 5:8).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 5/22/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father, Holy and Righteous are all your ways. Thank you Lord for all that you have given to us, things that money cannot buy. Although from a worldly standpoint we have very little, you have showed us that we are rich. All the money in the world cannot purchase the joy and excitement that you have placed into our hearts. No amount of wealth can buy our contentment, for when we are poor we are rich. If we give away all that we have, we have you, who has promised to never leave or forsake us. Praise God. We pray, Oh Lord, that all your beloved children would learn the joy of contentment. We pray that their life, their attitude, and conversation demonstrate this contentment. Help us to demonstrate this contentment without asking for things beyond our basic needs of food and clothing. Help us all to be content with what we have. We pray this in the Name of our Provider Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee” (Hebrews 13:5).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 5/21/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you, Father God, that we are precious in your sight as beloved children. All believers are precious in your sight. Guard our actions and words that they do not offend one of your precious children causing them to stumble. We know if they stumble it could be years before they allow you to bring joy back into their lives. So many years wasted, because someone was not careful with their words or actions. We pray that our words will always be pure, free from vulgarity and seasoned with salt. We pray that our words always encourage and build up and not tear down. We pray that we are not fault finders based upon our own way of looking at things, which could be faulty theology. Above all, help us to demonstrate our love to all and especially to the new believers in Christ, helping them along life’s narrow way. We pray this in the holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea” (Matthew 18:6).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 5/20/2017

We come humbly before you our true King, of both Heaven and earth. We honor you alone as the true giver of life. As the world leader clambers to recognize the three great religions of Judaism, Islam, and Christianity at the foot of the Pope, we fall down before you recognizing Jesus Christ alone and the establishment of His Church. We praise your Holy Name that your beloved children are among most of the religious sects of Christianity giving you allegiance, adoration, and abasement. We pray that you continue to build your Church uniting your faithful remnant from around the world to stand firm on the beliefs handed down to them from previous generations who believed in the infallibility and sufficiency of Holy Scripture. We pray that you, Oh Lord, will strengthen your Church not allowing the gates of hell to prevail against her. We pray this in the most holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it” (Matthew 16:18).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 5/19/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you, Father God, for the example of your Son Jesus Christ. He not only gave us instructions on how to live, but He was a beautiful example on giving Himself to others. He did exactly as He saw you do. Praise God. We pray, Oh Lord, that you will continually remind us every moment when we are interacting with others in the world to be an example of our Christian faith, especially when we are driving or confronting the arrogant. We never know when another believer is looking on to see how we handle our response. Let it not be just limited to our godly conversation, but also our expression of love, our attitude, our faithfulness, and purity of thought and action. Above all keep us from making statements to others and saying we received it from you and didn’t. Help us, Oh Lord, to guard everything we say and do. We pray this the most holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity” (I Timothy 4:12).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 5/18/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you, Father God, that we never have to face anxiety by ourselves. Indeed, you have given us everything we need in your all sufficient Word. Praise God. We have learned that many things can cause anxiety from concerns about food and clothing to health issues. We bow before you today, Oh Lord, bringing all our concerns before you in prayer and supplication with the confidence that you are listening and will not allow us to be tempted beyond what we can handle. Although we may feel that our concerns are greater than what we can bear, we trust you to know what’s best. As we bow before you offering our prayers with trust and thanksgiving in our hearts we become witnesses of a divine miracle as all anxiety flees being replaced with a peace that defies understanding. Not only peace, but wisdom on how to move forward. Praise God. We pray this in the Wonderful Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God” (Philippians 4:6).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 5/17/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. What a tremendous joy it is to come into your presence, greater than any entertainment, greater than the most loving relationships, for every fiber of our being is touched. Thank you, Oh Lord, for your Holy Spirit that fills us up to capacity displacing all negative thoughts and emotions. Praise God for the divine Helper and loving Counselor to walk with us through the valley of despair, then quickly brings us back to the mountain top, experiencing celestial glory. Praise God. We pray that we will always be obedient to His following, being careful to never grieve thy Holy Spirit through participation in immorality. On the other hand, Oh Lord, help us always to be filled with thy Holy Spirit by dying to self and giving Him full access to the innermost chambers of our hearts. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit” (Ephesians 5:18).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 5/16/2017

Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. As we enter our prayer closet this morning we are mindful of how many people and specifically some of your own children are swayed by every news story and blog writing. What a tragedy to see the effect that this is having upon the world and specifically the Christian community. We pray, Oh Lord, that your beloved children will be more discerning in what they read or hear in the news. Let them be more discerning on what they see or read on social media. Thank you, Lord, for teaching us the importance of building a solid theological foundation by putting your entire all sufficient Word into our hearts. Thank you, Oh Lord, for teaching us the importance of the assembled Church with its gifted leaders to guide us in this formation (Ephesians 4:11-16). Most of all, thank you Lord, for the indwelling Holy Spirit that always brings your Word to memory along with the gift of discernment to reject fake news and false teachings. We pray this in the most Holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive” (Ephesians 4:14).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 5/15/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you Lord for calling us out of the world and putting your Spirit within us. Praise God. Along with the tremendous joy of being made clean comes the responsibility of remaining clean and separate from those who would pollute our mind and spirit. Outwardly many pagans in the world seem like nice upstanding people who can become our friends, but you have warned us it must not become intimate. On the surface things are not always what they appear. We pray, Oh Lord, that you give us great discernment and the courage to withdraw from those who would pull us down in our Christian walk. To withdraw from those who would mock our faith or flaunt their immorality in our presence. Give us the wisdom, Oh Lord, to know the difference between sharing the Gospel and casting our pearls before the swine. We admit that this is most difficult with family, but you have made us a part of a new family. Praise God. We pray this in the most Holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord.

Daniel W. Blair 5/14/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you for being not only our Creator and God, but also for being our loving Father. Thank you for giving us Mothers who have instilled your magnificent love into us as children, guiding our steps, and faithfully demonstrating to us the mind of Christ. Along life’s narrow way our memories return to the many times our Mothers sacrificed both time and resources to provide for our needs and desires. We pray, Oh Lord, as we honor our Mothers and Grandmothers today that we will never forget their mind of Christ that cherished family unity in the bond of peace. Help us to always strive for the mind of Christ, that opens the door to being of the same mind one to another, obtainable only through our death to self. We are reminded of what the late Alexander MacLaren said, “Our Christian unity is unity in Christ, and the one sure way, ‘to be of the same mind one toward another’ is, that, ‘the mind which was in Christ Jesus be in us also.'” We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits” (Romans 12:16).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 5/13/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father the One we always look to in the morning and throughout the day. All that we do originates in you. Although we can’t see you with our physical eyes to follow you in your work, we can still join you by way of the Spirit allowing you to guide each step of the way. We pray that all your beloved children will seek your marching orders in the morning through prayer and meditation before embarking on their work for the Kingdom. Help us, Oh Lord, to throw ourselves completely into the work not being side-tracked by the world’s entertainment and senseless arguments. We know our labor is not in vain, because we have seen the fruit of our labor in changed lives who have escaped the fowler’s snare and now laboring in the vineyard. Praise God. Even if we cannot see it, we know our labor is not in vain for your Word is mighty and will never return void. We pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord” (I Corinthians 15:58).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 5/12/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. As we enter our prayer closet today we are mindful that at times we have nothing to say, so we wait upon you in silence. So finally, the question arises, “What can we do to prepare for the inevitable?” And then the answer comes quickly, “Keep loving and keep giving.” We humbly admit, Oh Lord, that there may have been limits placed on our loving and particularly on our giving. Bear with us, Oh Lord, your beloved servants. Teach us to keep loving others without ever expecting anything in return, to keep loving the unlovable, to never put limits on our love. Teach us to keep giving of ourselves. To keep giving our service, our time, and our resources without ever expecting anything in return. Help us to always do it with a smile on our faces and joy in our hearts. As your love and service flows through us to others we experience an incredible joy and at the zenith of true religion. Praise God. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world” (James 1:27).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 5/11/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Help us to be steadfast as a statue and unmovable in a world that is throwing so much at your beloved children. It’s like the world is on steroids moving at the speed of light changing its history, removing its past, and increasing the radical divide among the population. It’s as though they are forcing us to pick a side and thus accept all their dogma even if some of it is against our core values as a Christian. We pray that we will stand our ground on all your laws and precepts even if it puts us at odds with both political camps. We see in our spirit how this great upheaval in world events could set the stage for the man of lawlessness who will capture most who claim to know you, but have not had their names written in the Lamb’s book of life. Help us, we pray to stand firm and continue our work for the Lord. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord” (I Corinthians 15:58).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 5/10/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father how Righteous are all your ways. How quickly are your children being cast up against one another looking to pull the splinter out of their brother’s eye, but not considering the long in their own eye. How quickly do they offer their advice and human wisdom, often times out of pride, without first seeking your Heavenly wisdom. We pray that all your children would be quick to listen and slow to speak, waiting and allowing you to speak through us. We feel in our spirit that the time is short, so every minute must be used to encourage and strengthen others in their walk, doing everything to the glory of God. We pray that we would never be a stumbling block to others, but always allow you to speak through us giving godly counsel from your all sufficient Word. We know that a word spoken in haste will not accomplish your will in the life of the listener. Help us to be men and women of understanding, being careful with our words and actions. We pray this in the holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Be not rash with thy mouth, and let not thine heart be hasty to utter any thing before God: for God is in heaven, and thou upon earth: therefore, let thy words be few” (Ecclesiastes 5:2).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 5/9/2017

Good morning Holy Righteous Father in Heaven above and also in our hearts through thy Holy Spirit. As Christians, we find it easy to embrace everyone in love, including the Muslims who live among us, even those who have hurt us in the past. We have learned the power of forgiveness. We may proudly proclaim as men and women of understanding that we bear no malice toward anyone, but we may have not yet faced the blade of persecution from such groups as Islamic extremism. We pray that you will give us strength to resist with whatever force is necessary to protect others, but also understanding to safeguard our hearts from allowing malice to control our thinking and behavior. We pray that we will never miss an opportunity to express our true love for everyone and the courage to proclaim the good news of salvation that’s only available through Jesus Christ. We pray that we will no longer be children in our understanding, but men and women to the glory of God. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Brethren, be not children in understanding: howbeit in malice be ye children, but in understanding be men” (I Corinthians 14:20).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 5/8/2017

Heavenly Father as we enter our prayer closet this morning we are sorely grieved at the number of your beloved children that are facing trials and tribulations in their life. Many of them are crying out on social media getting many different responses from people they may not really know. Making matters worse the responders may not know the whole story or have the ability to read their body language. We pray that all your children would always cry out to you first who knows everything about us and what we are going through. We pray that we would be patient in tribulation allowing it to have its full effect as the dross is driven out of the metal with fire. Help us to continue instantly in prayer without waiting or putting it off. Though are most difficult trials and tribulations we still have hope beyond the veil, which is the anchor of our souls and our reason for rejoicing. Praise God let us rejoice in hope. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer” (Romans 12:12).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 5/7/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. May all that we do today bring glory to your Blessed Name. We humbly submit ourselves to you for our works of service in the Kingdom. Although we may be earthly citizens of another nation, our hearts and minds have been transformed to become citizens of your Heavenly Kingdom. Praise God. Therefore, our allegiance to your Kingdom is above all others, always ready to do your bidding, follow your laws, and be true ambassadors of thy Kingdom here on earth. As earthly kingdoms seek to fit us into their molds as a perfect citizen following their agenda and obeying their laws, we pray, Oh Lord, that you give us the courage to resist if it violates your Laws and precepts that govern our behavior. We pray that as much as possible we will be a model citizen of both kingdoms eager to serve and participate. We pray this in the Name of our King, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men” (Acts 5:29).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 5/6/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you, Father God, for the hope that you have given to us beyond the veil, which is the anchor of our soul. As the world flounders about with little to no hope for this present age, we pray that we as your beloved children will demonstrate our hope not only for this present age, but also for the one to come. We know that beggars, criers, and complainers demonstrate little hope to a hopeless world, even if it’s an integral part of a “so called” prayer request. Oh Lord, let even our prayer request be filled with hope, that even if it’s not answered to our expectation, we have confidence that our God given strength will see us through with joy in our hearts. We pray that we will demonstrate great joy and excitement in our hearts from experiencing your hand in our lives making us into a beautiful new creation where old things have already passed away. Let us clearly articulate our personal testimony, with great joy and excitement, to those who ask about the hope that we have for our life now and for our glorious future in Heaven. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear” (I Peter 3:15).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 5/5/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. As the sun shines brightly through the window, we think of your radiance that enlightens the heart of every soul. Yet, we live in a day where most have rejected the light and have embraced the darkness calling good bad and the bad they are calling good. Our hearts are so grieved. We pray that all your beloved children will continue to walk in the light exposing the evil, even if it’s called by a different name. As humanity struggles to find its way, help us, Oh Lord, to be patient with all men. Not all will come to the truth as quick as we like, many will attempt to walk in the light and darkness at the same time, while most will never be moved from the darkness, let us be patient with all, never giving up. Lead us through thy indwelling Holy Spirit to make every word and good deed count praying that it will open their eyes, pierce their hearts of stone and deliver them from their enslavement to evil. Help us to be patient with all. We pray this in the powerful Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men” (I Thessalonians 5:14).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 5/4/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. We enter our prayer closet today with great wonderment of thy magnificent ways always working behind the scenes to accomplish your divine will on earth as it is in heaven. We are thankful, Oh Lord, for your peace that dwells in our hearts. A peace needed so desperately in a divided world that has had a negative influence upon the Christian community. We are thankful for when we allow your peace to rule in our hearts then we are no longer following the world in its quest to divide and destroy, but always working to unite the Body through our positive communication, calmness of spirit and attitude of thankfulness. We pray that as your beloved children, we will always demonstrate our thankfulness for all that you have done and currently doing to unite all true believers in Christ to become a strong force for truth and righteousness in the world. Even if we must suffer for truth and righteousness then we are thankful. We pray this in the glorious Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful” (Colossians 3:15).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 5/3/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. What a tremendous joy it is to discover it’s more blessed to live for others rather than self. Thank you Lord for teaching us this beautiful truth. Although admittedly we don’t always know what’s best for others, so we pray that you continue to lead us through the indwelling Holy Spirit, continue to open our eyes to their real needs and how we can fulfill them for your glory. We have noticed that many are quick to tell us what they selfishly desire, but will not, or are unable to reveal their true needs. Open their hearts to express their deep emotional and psychological problems. Help them to share their pain. We pray that all of your beloved children would stop looking at only their own needs and start looking at the needs of others. Help them to move beyond their prayers to getting up and following your direction, to do as you lead, trusting you to provide the strength and the resources. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive” (Acts 20:35).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 5/2/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. As we contemplate our entry into the world either in person or through internet blogging or on social media we desire to be a true ambassador of thy Kingdom making a difference in the lives of people with the truth of thy Word. As sheep among the wolves, help us to always follow your admonition to be wise as serpents withdrawing and hiding ourselves from the evil that seeks to destroy, being careful not to engage them in their violent speech or cast our pearls before the swine. We pray that our speech and writings will always remain pure, being careful not to offend or use language uncharacteristic of a Christian. As innocent doves, we pray that you will remind us through the indwelling Holy Spirit not to cast aspersions on the opposite side of the political divide or to join with the pagan in using their foul language to destroy their opponent. But as true ambassadors of the Kingdom let us look for every opportunity to inject the truth from thy Holy Word to open eyes, to pierce the hearts of stone, and offer life to those who are dead in their trespasses. Help us to always listen first to the Holy Spirit to inject the right word at the appropriate time. We pray this in the powerful Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves” (Matthew 10:16).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 5/1/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. We come before the altar today offering ourselves as a living sacrifice Holy and acceptable to thee. Search us, Oh Lord, to see if any brother has ought with us or feels that we have wronged them in some way. We trust you to let us know if the offense was toward a real brother thus damaging the body of Christ. We know that every brother and sister is so important to the kingdom work, because our strength to engage the enemy is found in our unity and true love for one another. So, we pray that you lead us to humble ourselves and have the moral courage to reach out to all that has ought with us and seek to restore the broken relationship. And if we have ought with our brother then lead us to rebuke if necessary with self-giving love, a forgiving heart, and a sincere desire for reconciliation. Indeed, we are stronger together. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift” (Matthew 5:24).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 4/30/2017

We draw close to you our Heavenly Father in the midst of a dark and confused world. We feel in our hearts that something terribly has gone wrong among the people, as if many, if not most, are being led about by the enemy. What many of them are doing and saying makes no sense even in high places. Saying and doing things that are contradictory, counterproductive, and extremely negative. Coupled with outrageous lies, exaggerations, and fault finding, we believe that we are living among a people who have lost their way. Many have become emotionally and psychologically unstable turning to drug addiction, a life of violence, or pawns of the enemy. Although we know that the battle belongs to you, Oh Lord, we pray that you direct our path allowing us to join you in this battle. We pray that all your beloved children will demonstrate stability, by having the mind of Christ, patiently showing people the Way and how to stand firm against the enemy. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might” (Ephesians 6:10).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 4/29/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. How glorious are all your ways. What comfort we take in your simple, yet profound truth that needs no deeper examination by our finite minds, asking foolish questions and trying to fit it into our scientific model for the universe. Thank you Lord that your truth transcends all the humanistic systems and theological presuppositions that have professed to unlock the meaning of life. Thank you Lord that you have given us the remedy for all psychological and emotional problems in your all sufficient Word in the face of fallen humanities unholy quest to do the same. Thank you Lord that even all the end time events portrayed so eloquently in the Holy Scriptures cannot be forced into our limited timeline, but stands outside of time itself stretching from the creation of the world to the end when all things will be destroyed. We pray with thanksgiving in our heart that you have everything under control where nothing will escape your sight. Amen

“But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain” (Titus 3:9).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 4/28/2017

Good morning Holy Righteous Father in Heaven above we come ever so humbly before you. Help us through the indwelling Holy Spirit to learn all thy beautiful commands given to us in your Word, the Bible. We know that they are not just suggestions, but your Divine will for all thy blessed children. Being obedient to thy will, your commands, then truly we would be living the new life in Christ, expressing true love for you and for one another. Thank you Lord for saving us not by works, but through your marvelous grace. Thank you for giving us the ability to obey all thy commands. Although we may fall, you are always there to pick us up, ready to forgive our repentant heart. Praise God. Truly through faith and obedience we become the true light to a dark world pulling down strongholds and penetrating hearts for your glory. We pray this in the most holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed” (James 1:25).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 4/27/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. It is always comforting to come into our prayer closet and listen to what you have to say. We have listened too long to the world’s ramblings about things that make little sense concerning what you have planned for your precious children. We pray that we will be satisfied with the simple doctrine that has been entrusted to us without seeking a higher knowledge filled with our own vain imaginations, presuppositions, and strange doctrines created by the enemy. Help us, Oh Lord, to avoid wise tales and myths handed down to us by previous generations. We pray that we will keep our conversations brief and to the point when sharing your truth, being careful not to add our embellishments to tickle the ears of the listeners. Help us to avoid meaningless stories and illustrations that don’t really help people to fathom the deep mysteries, yet simple truths from thy Word. We pray this in the most holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, the and oppositions of science falsely so called” (I Timothy 6:20).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 4/26/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father we come into our prayer closet this morning praying for unity and loving fellowship between all the believers of the Church, that you have established here on Earth. Our hearts are so grieved at the damage that the enemy is causing among the followers. As you know the enemy is sowing seeds of discontent and speaking lies among the brethren claiming it to be the truth, which is causing many arguments and divisions among thy people. We pray that all your children learn the biblical doctrines handed down to us in the Word of God, that each study to make themselves worthy of their high calling in Christ Jesus. Then we pray that you give us all courage to separate from those who wish to make trouble by denying the truth and spreading their lies. Anyone who talks negatively against the Church to separate and destroy works for enemy and not for YOU, Oh Lord, and we know that we must avoid them. Help us to follow thy command. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them” (Romans 16:17).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 4/25/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father, who requires obedience from all thy blessed children. If we are honest then we are no stranger to fleshly lust. Many of your precious children struggle with it as if fighting an unrelenting war against their souls. We pray, Oh Lord, that you would open their eyes that all fleshly lust begins first in the mind. But before they think about it, their needs to be a mental image of what they choose to lust after, either from a memory or from what they choose to currently gaze upon. We know if we choose to look then truly the war begins, so please Lord help us turn away from it immediately or exchange the mental image in our mind at once to something acceptable to thee. We pray that you help all your beloved children to only gaze upon what is pure and bring lasting peace to the soul. Praise God. We pray this in the most holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul” (I Peter 2:11).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 4/24/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father as we enter our prayer closet we are mindful that many of your beloved children do not know how to do your will. They always say they want to, and many of them pray “thy will be done,” but are still very much in the dark as far as accomplishing your will on earth as it is in Heaven. We pray that you open their eyes as they read the new covenant, that is, the New Testament and understand that all 127 commands are not suggestions or rules for entry into heaven, because we are saved by grace, but are instructions on how to accomplish your will on earth as it is in heaven. Amen. As a slave, we want to obey our Master. As a new creation, we want to obey our Creator and as a child of God we want to obey our Father in Heaven. We pray that you write these commands upon our hearts and remind us daily to obey them through the indwelling Holy Spirit. We pray this in the glorious Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“If ye love me, keep my commandments” (John 14:15).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 4/23/2017

Holy Righteous Father in Heaven we come ever so humbly before you this gloriously beautiful morning. With great love for you in our hearts today, we thank you for guiding us in both thought and action. Thank you for delivering us from those who add or subtract from thy Holy Word thus reinterpreting it, causing it to fit into their worldview, their systems and doctrines. Thank you for delivering us from those who want to force the old covenant into the new to justify their new systems of eschatological interpretation. We pray that we will not add or subtract from the prophetic teachings of Jesus Christ and His beloved apostles. Open our minds, Oh Lord, as you did with the two men on the road to Emmaus (Luke 24:13-32) to accept the fulfillment of the Old Testament prophecies as they point to you, both Prophet and King. Lead us to accept the New Testament prophecies already fulfilled by the hand of the Lord, specifically the destruction of the Temple and the abomination that causes desolation spoken of by Daniel. We pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“And he spake also a parable unto them; No man putteth a piece of a new garment upon an old; if otherwise, then both the new maketh a rent, and the piece that was taken out of the new agreeth not with the old” (Luke 5:36). Also see Revelation 22:18-19.

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 4/22/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father how precious is thy Holy Name among all who believe. Thank you, LORD, for our beautiful home planet Earth. We are deeply saddened that many, especially those among fallen humanity, care not for our home, but do awful things that damage and destroy our planet Earth. Right from the very beginning you gave us charge to care for our home, to be good stewards of our planet Earth. We pray that those in global governance would take up this task of keeping people from destroying the planet and its natural resources. To keep them from polluting our air, water, and seas. We pray that you give them wisdom to not over regulate to the point of hurting the population by robbing them from having an opportunity to work and provide for their families. We pray that you lead your children to be at the forefront of the debate in caring for our home, planet Earth. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth” (Revelation 11:18).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 4/21/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you, Jesus Christ, for laying the foundation and being the Chief Cornerstone for which the Apostles and Prophets built upon. We thank you LORD for their inspired writings to give course and direction to the Church for which you established. We thank you that nearly all the letters written to the Church and now a part of the inspired, all sufficient, infallible Word of God, the Bible is relevant for every Church age. We thank you Lord that in nearly every letter the first part is needed theology to understand our new relationship with you and the significance of what you have accomplished. We thank you Lord that the second part of these inspired letters are filled with practical application of thy Holy Word for us the true Church of God. We pray that we read and apply these great teachings to our lives by being doers of the Word and not listeners only. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves” (James 1:22; see also 23-25).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 4/20/2017

Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Although we may have been praying all day, you have impressed upon us that coming into our prayer closet daily is essential. That is, having a place and a time to come together where we are completely uninterrupted, where we can spend all the time necessary to hear your voice through the indwelling Holy Spirit. We live in a day and time where speaking the whole truth with no exaggerations, with no little white lies, and with no half-truths is a rarity even among those who claim to follow you. We pray that you guard the tongue of all thy children to only speak the truth even if it may cause them to look bad among their peers, even if it causes them to lose respect or lose their position of authority. We believe speaking only the truth will put all the power and majesty of Heaven at our disposal to overcome the world, to overcome all its slander and false accusations, which is more prevalent every day. We pray this in the powerful Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man’s religion is vain” (James 1:26).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 4/19/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you Lord for not leaving us in the dark as to the things to come. Although many in our day, as in centuries past, have added to the prophecy, subtracted from it, and twisted it by mixing unrelated Scriptures with it, we know that many of your children have not been led astray. Praise God. As the false prophets of our day seize upon every event to spin their lies striking fear into the hearts of their listeners, we are convinced through thy indwelling Holy Spirit that they have completely missed the big picture. For it is not the individual events that foretell your coming, rather it is the culmination and progression of all the events since the First Century that alerts your blessed children that your Day is at hand. We pray that all your children see the progression of prophetic events throughout history and the present day and not sleep as the pagans do. We pray this is the Name of our risen Lord Jesus Christ. Amen

“For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be” (Matthew 24:38-39).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 4/18/2017

Father God of heaven and earth we come humbly before you. As we enter our prayer closet this morning we are mindful of how many people who love to hear themselves talk. We are mindful of those who love to write even if it doesn’t make any sense, is completely at odds with your Word, or at the height of foolishness. People tend to ramble on, never taking thought that one day we will be judged for every idle word spoken (or written). We pray that you guard our mouths, being very careful to speak only words that have passed through the filter of thy indwelling Holy Spirit. Indeed, “A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver (Proverbs 25:11). Let our words sink deeply into the heart of the listeners to encourage, to rebuke, and to edify in love. Let our written words do the same, refusing to share idle gossip, meaningless surveys, or prideful anecdotes. We pray that thy beloved children will not be carried away by such talk or writings. We pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment” (Matthew 12:36).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 4/17/2017

Holy Righteous Father in Heaven above we come before you on the first day of our work week offering you all praise and honor. After a long glorious weekend of reflecting on all that your precious Son did for humanity, we now face the many responsibilities that lie ahead of us this week and beyond. We pray that we are not sidetracked by the media, our Facebook timeline, gossip mongers, and the many False prophets in the world, but stay focused on what God wants to accomplish in our life. As we pick up our cross thus dying to self and following you daily, we pray that you give us ears to hear what the Spirit says, who gives us direction on how to follow you. Help us, Oh Lord, to stay focused on hearing His voice alone, uncluttered by all that’s going on around us. When we hear His voice, or feel His prompting give us the courage and motivation to follow His lead, to not change course, but to accomplish the task set before us. We pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit” (Galatians 5:25).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 4/16/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. At the rising of the Sun, let us remember the rising of thy Son. Let it always be etched in our memories that at the beginning of every new day you are alive evermore to carry us through another day, instilling joy into our hearts, increasing our faith, and giving us needed direction. We pray, Oh Lord, that you will always help us to forge ahead with what you have put into our hearts even if we’re not sure of the outcome or how you plan on removing the obstacles placed in our path. As the world sleeps unwilling to follow thy lead, we pray that all thy children will press on to the goal of our upward calling in Christ Jesus our Lord. For in our hearts although we have not seen, we believe, that our Lord Jesus Christ has risen from the grave and has blazed the trail before us, always willing to meet us on the way, always willing to give us direction and needed encouragement. Praise God. We pray this in the glorious Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“And very early in the morning the first day of the week, they came unto the sepulcher at the rising of the sun. And they said among themselves, who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the sepulcher?” (Mark 16:2-3).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 4/15/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. As we come into our prayer closet this morning we thank you for the milestones, the memories, and the special days set aside to help us recall all that you have done for humanity. Although the wicked and unlearned want to dispute any and every day set aside as not being the exact, they have joined the enemy in attempting to remove all points of remembrance along with their malicious attacks on everything you have established, like the Church. So, we approach this day of remembrance to recall the great fear and abandonment experienced by the early disciples as Christ lay in the grave and all hope seemed to be lost. We pray that all your children everywhere would not lose hope in their darkest hour, but remember that it’s always darkest before the dawn and you are already at work completing your goal for our lives. The best is yet to come. Praise God. We pray this in blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost” (Romans 15:13).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 4/14/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you Father for the gift of the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of truth. We are confident that all we receive from thy Spirit is the undeniable, the unshakable truth. However, we are also thankful that He will never give us more than what we can bear, but lead us, guide us, one step at a time into all truth. Yet, we live in a day when many will not wait to receive the truth from the mouth of the Lord, but with their own prideful intellect search the Holy Scriptures and develop their own twisted theology presenting it to the world as the truth. This twisted theology of “Name it and claim it” or “Commanding You to do this or that” has captured many souls keeping them from receiving your higher truth. We pray, Oh Lord, that all your children will search the Holy Scriptures, but also allow the Spirit of truth to open their eyes and to lead them, guide them, one step at a time into all truth. We pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come” (John 16:12-13).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 4/13/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. We pray that you will lead us to walk in the truth, help us to always be people of the truth. If we could describe our generation with one word, it would be lies or deception. As you know, so strong are these lies that whole nations are led astray. We pray that we, as your beloved children, will never be counted among that number. We believe that our sure defense against the lies and deception of our age is to hear your voice above all other voices. As you came dear LORD to bear witness to the truth many centuries ago, we believe that you are still today bearing witness to all those who are willing to listen and walk in the truth. Praise God. We pray that you give us courage and determination to shun every lie and to openly expose every deception. Let us only speak the truth, the whole truth with no mixture of error. In so doing we believe that we will continue to hear your voice confirming it in our spirit. Amen. We pray this in your Name, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice” (John 18:37).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 4/12/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. As we enter our prayer closet this morning we have our mind filled with all that’s going on in the world. From so called false flags in Syria to exaggerated threats and counter threats between larger nations, while the alarmist is predicting World War III. We pray that your beloved children will not be swept up in this intrigue, but keep their minds upon the task set before them. At this special time of the year set aside as a time of remembrance of all that your Son did for us on the Cross of Calvary, let us be focused on spreading this message to everyone we have contact. We pray that the enemy and his minions will not be allowed to destroy this special time of the year with their fake news that’s capable of driving fear into the hearts of thy children. Help them, Oh Lord, to cast out their fear and take comfort in thy Holy Word that gives us the big picture of everything that must take place in its predetermined order. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world” (John 16:33).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 4/11/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father, Holy and Righteous are all your ways. Thank you Father for instilling into all thy precious children a desire for perfection. To go the extra mile in our job to do our very best, not out of pride, but a sense of duty, as if we are working for you, Oh Lord. Everything we lay our hands on we aim for perfection from the cleanliness and maintenance of our homes to using all our gifts and talents to bring glory to your blessed Name. Help us Lord to always do our best. Thank you Lord for teaching us to turn the other cheek and go the extra mile with others with the aim to build and restore relationships with all, even our enemy to the glory of God. Help us Lord to always be cognitive of this at all times, especially when driving. We pray, Oh Lord, that in everything we aim for perfection using your divine standard as interpreted from thy Holy commandments. We pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect” (Matthew 5:48).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 4/10/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you Father for all the little miracles in our life and for the Spiritual eyes to see them. Everything from providing financial assistance when we need it, to putting your words in our mouth, to guiding our thoughts and actions. Praise God for having the Spiritual insight to see your hand at work in our lives. It always brings tears of great joy seeing you at work. Even in bad times we feel the great comfort of thy presence ensuring us that you have everything under control. We pray that you will open the eyes of all your beloved children so they too can see what marvelous things you are accomplishing in our lives. We pray that we will continue to submit to thy leading, humbling ourselves under thy mighty hand, believing that you always know what’s best, that you truly care for us. Teach thy children, Oh Lord, that they cannot expect good things from thy hand while pridefully walking in disobedience to thy holy commandments. Continue to teach us thy way, Oh Lord. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you” (I Peter 5:6-7).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 4/9/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you Lord for the immortal message of Easter that stretches back to the creation of the world. As the Alpha and the Omega, you had planned to save us before we were ever created. Praise God. Everything written and everything spoken from the old covenant to the new pointed toward that one momentous event in history, the salvation of humanity. Oh Lord, forgive us if we have ever lessened the importance of this one day set aside as a day of remembrance of what you did for all of humanity who are willing to believe, willing to take up their cross and follow you. Amen. We pray that this year will be different, that all your children who are called by your name from around the world will spend the entire day thanking you with great joy in their hearts. We pray that the sound of that joy will be heard throughout the entire universe, to the halls of heaven reaching to the throne room of our God. Let everything that has voice praise your glorious Name for all that you have done for humanity throughout the ages, the salvation of our souls. We pray this in the Blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. If any man have an ear, let him hear” (Revelation 13:8-9).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 4/8/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. It is most difficult at times to enter our prayer closet, but enter it we must, seeking your help alone to break free from whatever is oppressing us. Help us to identify the source of the oppression. Is it Satanic or is it something else? Either way we know we must stand firm praying that you deliver us from this oppression. We praise you Lord of heaven and earth who has everything under control. In the midst of the many anomalies, strange weather patterns, unexplained events, and shifting global policies we rest in you. As we believe things are about to change drastically on the global stage, we submit ourselves once again to thee praying that we react to every event as a child of God allowing you alone to speak through us to bring about clarity and comfort among thy children and not add to the confusion in the world. We pray that we will not be counted among those who prophesy out of their own vain imagination, but only prophesy what you have given us. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Thus saith the LORD of hosts, Hearken not unto the words of the prophets that prophesy unto you: they make you vain: they speak a vision of their own heart, and not out of the mouth of the LORD” (Jeremiah 23:16).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 4/7/2017

Holy Righteous Father we desire to come fully into the light of your glory this morning. To allow your light to penetrate deeply into our souls to expose any hidden sin that needs to be acknowledged and properly dealt with through repentance and confession. We know that sin not dealt with and allowed to fester is like a virus eating away at the fabric of our personality causing us to behave in a very unnatural way. Although fear may cause many of your children to keep their sin hidden, we pray, Oh Lord, that you lead them to wholly trust in you and seek the refreshing waters of forgiveness that will cleanse their hearts and make them whiter than snow. Give them courage, dear Lord, not only to pray for one another, but to confess their sins one to another clearing away the walls of separation and unmasking their hidden personalities. Doing so will bring forth great healing. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much” (James 5:16).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 4/6/2017

We come humbly into our prayer closet this morning prostrating ourselves before the Lord of Glory. Forgive us Father when we sin or allow others to sin before us without rebuking them in love. We must always stand for truth and righteousness in an immoral world. So, we pray, Oh Lord, that we will never turn a blind eye to someone’s bad behavior, but to confront it with moral strength and determination to hold them accountable. Let us always do it in love with the aim of not tearing down or judging, but with a true desire for their repentance, forgiveness, and restoration. We pray that our rebuke will always be in love and compassion for the eternal destiny of their tormented soul. Oh, what a joy it is, Oh Lord, to turn a sinner back from the error of his way. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins” (James 5:19-20).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 4/5/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. We pray, Oh Lord, that you always help us to do our very best for you. As a servant of the King we want to serve with integrity and humility. As an ambassador of thy glorious Kingdom we want to magnify your wondrous ability to do more than we can ever imagine; we want the world to see your glory. As a child of God, we want the world to see your magnificent love that has embraced all your children, all the time. As a Christian, we want the world to see our new life in-Christ where old things have truly passed away never to be remembered. We want them to see this new life ever changing, ever growing in love and forgiveness for others, and ever becoming a new creation to the glory of God. As a forgiven sinner we pray, Oh Lord, that they will always see our great joy, rejoicing all the time, being thankful in all things. We pray this in the blessed Name of our Savior, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice” (Philippians 4:4). “In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you” (I Thessalonians 5:18).”

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 4/4/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you for judging us aright with no partiality. For indeed you look at us differently than the world who makes judgments on the outward appearance, whereas you look at our heart. You look at our true intentions, our godly motives, and our unconditional love for you and for others. We take great comfort in knowing that you alone will judge our true spiritual condition. Yet we live in a world that has gone mad judging others and creating an atmosphere of a full-blown witch hunt. We pray that your beloved children will not get caught up in this madness of judging our political and religious figures, making nearly everyone a criminal or a false prophet. We pray, Oh Lord, that you will help us to judge others aright through godly discernment and not to rush headlong along with the world to make rash judgments believing every negative and hateful report. Lead us to always embrace the truth with no mixture of error. We pray this in the holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again” (Matthew 7:1-2).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 4/3/2017

Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thank you Father for sending us thy Holy Spirit during these turbulent times for with fallen humanity they are always as shifting sand. Thank you for the Anchor of our soul that keeps us on the straight and narrow staying focused on you, instead of being constantly led about by the schemes of the devil. Even when tragedy strikes thy comfort and direction keeps us from falling prey to our emotions that can lead to wrong decisions and bad behavior. Thank you, Lord, for not leaving us alone. Praise God. We pray, Oh Lord, that you give us more thoughts about heaven and the grand reunion with family and friends, who through their faith will be there, but no longer in old age or overcome by horrible and debilitating diseases. Help us to always think your thoughts after you rather than the thoughts of an immoral world. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts” (Isaiah 55:8-9).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 4/2/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. It’s always good to come fully into thy loving presence knowing that nothing will happen without your express permission. As we are now under a tornado watch, take shelter immediately, and a severe thunderstorm fast approaching we have comfort knowing that we are already in your loving arms. No matter how many crisis situations your children must face in this life, you are always there, from physical injuries to impending catastrophes and everything in between. Praise God. We have no fear, because our hope is beyond this short life to an everlasting life with you. Thank you Lord for choosing us to witness the creation of a new heavens and a new earth free from crisis and catastrophes. We pray, Oh Lord, that our Christian hope and lack of fear will inspire others to stand firm in these final days. We pray this in the powerful Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea” (Revelation 21:1).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 4/1/2017

Holy righteous father we come humbly into thy presence. We are so disgusted with all the lies, half-truths, and deceptions in the world today. One wonders who to believe. It’s always easy to pick a side, but what we want is the truth. What we want is everything exposed. We could, like some, simply bury our head in the sand and happily go on our way ignoring what everyone is saying, but somehow, we can’t, because we know it may be leading some of your precious children astray. So, we pray that you would open the eyes of all your children to see the truth. We pray, Oh Lord, that you will expose all the lies in such a way that everyone would believe. We can’t help from believing that all these lies and counter lies are a ploy of the enemy to not only confuse, but to prepare the world for the coming Antichrist as the pendulum swings all the way back to the hard left. God forbid. We pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations” (Revelation 13:7). “Sounds like the resurgence of globalization.”

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 3/31/2017

Good Morning Heavenly Father how glorious is thy Holy Name. Thank you for the warmth of our memories of days gone by when we walked closely together in the ministry. How marvelous to recall the times we dug deep into thy Holy Word to find direction on how to live out life as a new person in Christ. What joy to recall the ministry of thy indwelling Spirit opening our eyes, giving us divine opportunities, and bestowing exciting confirmation. Praise God. As we bask in the light of the approaching sunrise, now reminiscent of our times together, help us to face our new day with the same vigor and vitality of days gone by. We pray that you would continue to use us and walk with us in the ministry to help all people everywhere to desire the same relationship with you, our God. We have discovered in our old age that relationships with others and with you is indeed the most important thing, as we long for your coming. As we long for the new heavens and a new earth filled with your magnificent love. We pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets” (Matthew 22:37-40).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 3/30/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. What a beautiful morning it is to celebrate your love for us. Thank you Lord for all that you do for your beloved children. We have never had to beg for our food or other basic needs to sustain life. Thank you Lord that you have led all your children to graciously give to others out of their own abundance so that all could be equally cared for in a very wicked and uncaring world. We pray that you give all your precious children great discernment in giving to others so that we don’t promote their immorality, but give them a lifting hand out of the darkness of poverty to the light of your magnificent love. We know we cannot limit our giving, but freely give to every country and people group that you send us to with no partiality. We pray for a special blessing on those ministries that give 100% of what they collect for the needs of others. We pray that you will rebuke those who in their pride stand against the ministry of giving to others in need. We pray this in the loving Name of Jesus Christ our Lord.

Daniel W. Blair 3/29/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. We humbly submit to thy will, knowing it is the best for us. You have taught us time and again that you really know what’s best even though we can’t see it. So, when we pray, Oh Lord, let it always be according to thy holy will. When we do pray according to thy will, then increase the faith of thy beloved children to believe it. We all desire many things, but give us discernment to know which things would align with your will as we pray making our request. If we feel strongly that what we pray for is thy divine will then give all your children the faith to believe it. Many times, we have prayed according to thy holy will and have witnessed you giving us exactly what we have prayed for. Praise God. We have prayed that you would convict certain people of their immoral lifestyle and immediately we have witnessed you bringing forth that conviction, so please encourage all your children to believe in their heart as they pray. Let us pray in the powerful Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Therefore, I say unto you, what things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them” (Mark 11:24).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 3/28/2017

Good Morning Heavenly Father. You, Oh Lord, have given us a vision for the work during these last days to both encourage and teach your precious children. Now we ask for strength to complete this work. As the pressure mounts from spiritual attacks and physical problems, we pray that you stand with us in this battle. As we take on the full armor of God we are reminded once again that the battle belongs to you. Praise God. Never in all our days have we seen the power of the enemy so strong against your children. Nor have we seen him so strong in the world leading the pagan around by the nose to pit them one against another and change the course of the entire world in preparation for the Beast. As we stand aloof from this turmoil help us to stand firm while completing the work that you have given us to accomplish. We pray this in the most powerful Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil” (Ephesians 6:10-11).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 3/27/2017

Holy Righteous Father in Heaven above we come this morning expressing our faith in you alone as the only true God. We believe that most in the world no longer trust in you alone, which opens our eyes to the inevitable. As your beloved children continue to motivate us to proclaim the gospel truth even if it falls on deaf ears. As your faithful remnant continue to motivate us to sound the warning of your impending judgment even if it’s mocked or ignored. Although we may lose hope that this world and our nation in particular will ever find its way forward by escaping the bondage of immorality, we will not lose hope in you to save all those who will put their faith in you alone. We pray, Oh Lord, that everyone who has breath will recognize that you are the only true God and will bow their knee in submission. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God” (Romans 14:11).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 3/26/2017

Good Morning Heavenly Father. We look forward to just resting in you today. Expressing our love in praises and prayers from the heart. Keeping our minds focused only on your righteousness and not on anything that seeks to pull us into the dark gloomy pit of immorality. As we lift our voices in song, please transform them into pleasing melodies to be heard throughout thy Heavenly Kingdom. We pray that all we do today will bring forth a sweet-smelling aroma to the praise and glory of our God. Help us, Oh Lord, to always do the utmost for the highest as we worship and serve thee. We pray dear Lord that you renew our spirit today, freeing it from the bondages imposed upon it by the world’s lies propagated as the truth. On this most holy day let all that we say and do bring glory to thy Holy Name. Let us pray in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters”(Revelation 14:6-7).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 3/25/2017

Holy Righteous Father we come ever so humbly into thy presence. We are so grieved that so many who call on the Name of Christ are not walking in the new life. So many have followed the ways of the world by accepting their counsel and psychiatric drugs to solve their problems. While many others have openly accepted all religions as viable expressions of faith and rejecting the notion that Jesus Christ is the only Way to the Father. So many have accepted the gross immorality in the world from late term abortion to same sex marriage and the transgender as nothing more than freedom of choice. How sad that these new norms have eaten so deeply into the fabric of society over the past fifty years where almost no one has noticed the decline. We continue to pray for your faithful remnant living in the last days to stand firm in the truth, speaking boldly about the new life in Christ, while remaining gentle and expressing all manner of love. We pray, Oh Lord, that you would take your power and begin to reign turning our grief into everlasting joy. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God, Saying, we give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned” (Revelation 11:16-17).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 3/24/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Give us strength today to do your work and to accomplish your will. As we enter into a quagmire of emotions today help us to look beyond personal appearances to judge correctly. Help us, Oh Lord, to minister to each person’s needs individually with humility and an open heart. Lead us to have a forgiving spirit for those who still walk in wickedness and to look for every opportunity to deliver them from their bondage. And for those who are grieving help us to comfort them with the same comfort that you have so graciously given us. Above all help us to be true children of light at every funeral we must attend. For indeed, we have hope beyond the grave and we grieve not as the world grieves. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep. Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits” (Romans 12:15-16).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 3/23/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. We are so happy that you are in our lives. We cannot even imagine the alternative. We pray that all our contacts with other people today will bring glory to your Name. Help us to always present ourselves as loving, compassionate, and dignified people. We pray also that they will see the hope and joy that we have as we look for every opportunity to share the love of God. As opportunities present themselves give us the courage to follow your leading. Above all don’t let us run ahead of you, but to wait for your divine intervention. What a joy it’s been to see you work so miraculously in the past touching people’s heart and opening the door from a life of captivity, immorality, and pain to a whole new life of freedom and joy in Christ. As ambassadors for Christ help us to always be careful with our attitude making sure that our words are seasoned with salt to build others up and not tear down. We pray this in the glorious Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God” (II Corinthians 5:19-20).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 3/22/2017

Holy Righteous Father in Heaven above we thank you for all that you have done for us and thankful for all that you’re going to do for us. We face each day with hope believing that you will work out everything for our best. Although we may have unexpected bills or limited finances on what we want to do for others, we know everything belongs to you and you will supply all our needs and our heartfelt desire to give to others. Help us, Oh Lord, to be good stewards of your money purchasing only what we need and being careful to never get behind on our bills. We pray that all your children will work hard with their own hands so as not to be a burden to others. We pray that they will all have a good work ethic and a positive, joyful attitude about working. Let us do everything to the glory of God. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat. For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies” (II Thessalonians 3:10-11).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 3/21/2017

As we enter our prayer closet this morning we are mindful of those who are not experiencing the joy of a new life in-Christ. Why do they keep doing the same thing over and over again and expect different results? We all want our lives to improve. We all want freedom from the weight of past sins. We all want healing from past hurts. Yet, they continue to follow the ways of the world and nothing changes. Thank you, Heavenly Father, for giving us a new way that completely changes everything. That gives us different results. That gives us a brand-new life full of indescribable joy free from past sins, past hurts, and a new hope. You have shown us the secret power of forgiveness. Hallelujah. We pray that as you have so graciously forgiven us through the shed blood of Christ, that we will also forgive others, so nothing impedes the joy of our new life in-Christ. We pray this in Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses” (Matthew 16:14-15).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 3/20/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father, Holy and Righteous is your Name. We cry out to you day and night without ceasing believing that you not only hear our prayers, but in your time, you will always answer our prayers. Praise God. Although you may not always answer our prayers as quickly as we desire, we pray that you increase our faith so we don’t give up praying. Although the agony of despair may seem to overtake us at times through physical maladies, persecution, or satanic oppression, we pray, Oh Lord, that our faith will carry us through to see the Day of your righteous vindication. We believe that one day your justice will prevail. As your chosen ones, your own elect, help us to always trust in you alone and not in the world, for they seek to supplant our prayers of faith with their earthly counsel. Help us, Oh Lord, to always be counted among the faithful remnant as we await your glorious return. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth (Luke 18:7-8)?”

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 3/19/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. It’s so wonderful to finally make it into our prayer closet this morning. We pray that you will always help us to prioritize our time. You know how the enemy uses many different devices to pull us into many different directions keeping us from fulfilling your perfect will for our lives. We pray that you help us to rekindle the gifts that you have so graciously put into all your beloved children. Help us to spend all our time using our gifts to bring glory to your blessed Name. When people or devices seek to pull us in different directions, give us strength, Oh Lord, to say no gracefully. On the other hand, give us discernment when it’s necessary to venture off course to minister to others in their pressing needs. Help us to always accept those course corrections knowing with all assurance that you are in control and glory will be brought to your Holy Name. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands. For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind” (II Timothy 1:6-7).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 3/18/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. We are rather saddened that there are so many people who don’t think through what they are going to say, before they say it. They don’t seem to pray about it or even listen to what the indwelling Spirit says. We pray that all your children take the time before answering or commenting, to take time praying, listening to the Holy Spirit and thinking through what they say before they say or write their comment. Also, we have discovered that many people don’t really listen to what’s being said or written before answering. We pray, Oh Lord, that all your children would learn to listen, to really listen to what’s being said or written before responding. And if they don’t understand then lead them to politely ask for an explanation before proceeding. In a fast-paced world, many simply don’t take the time to listen or read with understanding. Please Lord, don’t let your children be counted among this number. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God” (James 1:19-20).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 3/17/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father, as we come into our prayer closet we are reminded once again that nothing happens by accident, nothing escapes your eye. We take great comfort in knowing that you are always here, for indeed you have promised to never leave us. Even in death you are with us until the end of the world. Amen. We pray that you will watch over all your blessed children during these turbulent days when there are so many in the world who seek to do us harm. We pray that you will awaken the liberal establishment of this real and present danger and cause them to support our current administration’s efforts in curbing this threat through executive order. Although we know in time if nations do not repent of their continued decline into the depth of gross immorality, then judgement will come. We pray that all your beloved children would be made ready for that day to stand firm and not be easily shaken by the gale force winds of affliction. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen” (Matthew 28:20).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 3/16/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. It’s always a challenge to know how to deal with hateful opinionated people, steeped in their own pride and self-worth. Especially if they seek to do us harm with their slanderous accusations. We pray, Oh Lord, that you give us holy discernment to decide if we can help these people see their true spiritual condition or if we should simply shake the dust off our feet as a testimony against them. It truly breaks our hearts that this nation and the world is so divided, which has come to light as of late since your children are refusing to remain silent and allowing their minions to pull them into darkness. We pray that you give us strength to fight the good fight by proclaiming the gospel truth with love, gentleness, and the power thy indwelling Spirit. Let us never mimic their bad behavior as we confront them with the truth. We pray this in the holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“But and if ye suffer for righteousness’ sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled; But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear” (I Peter 3:14-15).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 3/15/2017

Good morning holy righteous Father of all that exists. We pray that you will help us to recognize the good we should be doing. Help us to look beyond our own selfish desires to see the needs of others. You have taught us that it could be as simple as recognizing others with a kind word aptly spoken, or going the extra mile by giving our time and resources to others for their benefit. Help us to always be alert to the needs of others ready and willing to do what’s right, to do good. Although at times we may feel as though we don’t have the time or the resources, or even the ability to do the good, we pray that you, Oh Lord, will increase our faith knowing that you will provide. Although it can be a real struggle, we pray that you will motivate us to do what’s right, to do good. Forgive us if we failed in the past to do what is right, to do the good. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Therefore, to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin” (James 4:17).

Prayer by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 3/14/2017

Good Morning Heavenly Father how glorious are all your ways. We come humbly into thy presence this morning seeking your continued guidance in all matters. We pray that you will always keep us on the narrow path that leads to life. We know from experience that there are many stumbling blocks along the way, but you have always taught us how to overcome them being made stronger in the process. Praise God. No matter how difficult things get in the future from catastrophes to mean spirited people, help us to always remain calm, demonstrating Christian character, and allowing our inner light to shine brightly. Lead us to always go the extra mile with others being quick to turn the other cheek. We humbly ask that you continue to teach us how to be submissive and honor others above ourselves. We pray this is the holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it” (Matthew 7:13-14).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 3/13/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you for allowing us to come into your presence. What a joy it is to have you touch our hearts with your magnificent love. Thank you, Oh Lord, that we never need to guess what your will is for our new life in Christ. You have taught us so beautifully in your anointed Word. We pray that we will never allow any substance, such as, drugs or alcohol to control our behavior, but only allow your indwelling Holy Spirit to control our every action. This is so amazingly witnessed by speaking to ourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs and joyfully singing and making melody in our hearts. We recognize that thy indwelling Spirit also leads us to be thankful in all things as you lead us to be submissive one to another. We pray that you will always help us to be obedient to the leading of thy Holy Spirit. We humbly pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God” (Ephesians 5:17-21).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 3/12/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you, Oh Lord, that we do not need to follow the world in its stages of grief. Indeed, you are our great Comforter in every stage, filling us with your unending love and hope. A hope that never disappoints us. We pray dear Lord for our family members and friends who don’t possess this blessed hope and are struggling in the world’s grief process, that you would use this time to open their eyes to accept your gift of eternal life through faith. Help your children to always be a source of hope and comfort to those who are suffering. Allow our inner light to shine ever so brightly in the midst of darkness and gloom. We rejoice over those dear ones who have run the good race and have now sat down with you in glory. Praise God. We long for that great reunion in paradise. We pray this in the glorious Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also” (John 14:1-3).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 3/11/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. We come late into our prayer closet today due to meditating long and hard on our present situation in the world. As more than half this country mocks you, Oh Lord, we know from your Word that they really can’t, because they will truly reap what they have sown. They have sown to the sinful nature by changing the laws to legalize and thus justify their bad behavior. Although they fight anyone, including the present administration, who seeks to change this immoral direction, they are completely unaware of the coming destruction. For indeed they will in time reap what they have sown, especially if they win the day and overthrow those who seek to change their immoral direction. We pray that all your children would not grow weary in doing good by demonstrating a better way, by sowing to please the Spirit in obedience to thy beautiful commands that produces life, a life filled with real lasting joy. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting” (Galatians 6:7-8).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 3/10/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you Father for the light of your glory that never changes. Thank you that your teachings from long ago that remains the same throughout all the ages. Thank you that nothing changes in your beautiful law until all is fulfilled nor does the explanation of that law change that was given by your beloved Son. Yet, we live in a world of constant change going from bad to worse, every day seeking to introduce new legislation of gross immorality into a society that quietly accepts its new norms. We pray that your children would vocally and unashamedly stand against all the gross immorality being passed as laws of the land to be obeyed by all its citizens. Whereas, we as your children should be changing, but to ever increasing righteousness to the glory of God. Give us courage to stand firm against unrighteous laws, for should we not listen to God rather than man. We pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord” (II Corinthians 3:18).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 3/9/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Fill us, Oh Lord, with thy Holy Spirit to overflowing every moment of every day. Teach us to completely die to self, not allowing the old sin nature to control our lives. Our utmost desire is to be led by you in everything we think and everything we do. Whenever selfishness or pride enters into our thoughts or actions give us the ability to resist it by performing an unselfish task in true humility to bring glory to your holy name. Although we must die to self daily, we know in time it does get a whole lot easier. Praise God. Thank you, dear Lord, for teaching us the secret of dying to self and putting off the old life, for it is by putting on the new life and being filled to overflowing with thy Holy Spirit. Praise God. Help us to always surround ourselves with holy and righteous Christians who always speak the truth that will help us to continue our spiritual growth in Christ. We humbly pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Then said Jesus unto his disciples, if any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me” (Matthew 16:24).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 3/8/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father how great and wonderful is your holy Name. Thank you, dear Lord, for all the good things you have planned for us, for those who have a godly fear of thee. Teach thy children, Oh Lord, the difference between fear and godly fear. Indeed, fear has to do with judgment for sinning against a Holy God and purposely disobeying His Righteous commands. Whereas, godly fear, for which we pray, seeks to be obedient, not because of judgement, but out of our great love for you. We seek an upright standing before thee to be welcomed as an obedient servant. We pray, Oh Lord, that our trust in you alone will be seen among men, especially among those who trust in the work of their own hands. Let us stand as bright lights in a very dark and prideful world. We humbly pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Oh, how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men” (Psalms 31:19)!

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 3/7/2017

Holy Righteous Father we come humbly into our prayer closet seeking your comfort and a restart for today. It’s always unsettling when something interrupts our morning prayers and we are unable to meet with you first. But now we are here resting in your divine presence. Praise God. We are all quite unsettled by the political landscape in America, which I am sure is effecting the entire world. We are not blind to the fact that gross immorality on the one side is trying to overthrow outrageous pride on the other side. All through the Bible we see you, Oh Lord, addressing those in power through your prophets and religious leaders, making it clear that your Kingdom will come and overpower the kingdoms of man. We pray to that end. In the midst of this turbulent world raise up all your children to speak forcefully, yet with gentleness, to his neighbor that the time is short and soon we will see you coming in the clouds with great power. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen” (Revelation 1:7).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 3/6/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Oh Lord, we have seen all the lies, counter lies, and deception in our world today putting many into bondage. Step by step they are being led into a greater bondage of embattlement and confusion. We pray this does not entrap the Christian community who has already been set free by the truth of thy holy word. As the world is fulfilling their prophetic destiny lead your children not to embrace one side against another thus being carried away by their web of deceit. Lead us to stay aloof of both warring parties and take great comfort and joy in advancing in the study and application of thy holy word that has set us free. Thy truth has made us free, free at last. Praise God. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, if ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:31-32).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 3/5/2017

Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thank you for the visions this morning. Although they tend to frighten us, we know in our heart that you have everything under your control. “Everything is being laid flat throughout the entire world. All will be brought into account. No one will escape your judgement for you are showing us that time is short.” So, we bow our knees before you most Holy and Righteous Father asking that we live every hour for you looking beyond what can be seen with only the physical eyes to the spiritual dimension. And what we see startles us for all in the world is a ruse to keep your people focused on the wrong thing. Things that make little difference in your ultimate plans for us and the world. We offer all praise and worship to you in humble adoration. We pray this in the powerful Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things, which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal” (II Corinthians 4:18).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 3/4/2017

As we enter our prayer closet this morning we are reminded once again of your great love for us. No matter how much pain, or turmoil caused by others, or unfortunate circumstances, we can always see your mighty hand at work. We see you, Oh Lord, creating the miracle by reducing the pain or learning how to accept it. We see you change circumstances or using the turmoil caused by others as ministry opportunities. We always see you working things together for the best. No matter what happens we see our faith grow stronger day by day as your love is magnified for us. We have discovered long ago that it’s our outright disobedience to your law that blocks your love and your mighty hand working in our live. Therefore, we pray dear Lord that you will continue to lead all your children to obey your entire law even if it would dramatically change their circumstances. We pray this in the loving Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“If ye love me, keep my commandments” (John 14:15).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 3/2/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father how Righteous are all your ways. Sometimes we don’t know really what to think about the political landscape in this country and the world. A tremendous fight we see between two political entities upsetting many. We pray, Oh Lord, please expose the real enemy of thy people. Let us not easily forget how one side has embraced so much gross immorality sending a shockwave through the Christian community from legalizing abortion to homosexuality. At this time, we also see a rise in false teachings attempting to lead your people astray. Father this is a difficult time for your people from both religious and political antagonist and need your help to stand firm being careful not to be pulled into the fight using the weapons of this world. Remind all your children that this is a spiritual battle for the hearts and minds of your people. We pray this in the powerful Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds)” (II Corinthians 10:3-4).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 3/1/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Help us dear Lord to overcome the distractions in our life. Our greatest desire is to have continuous fellowship with you through the Holy Spirit. Help us to discern those who need your help or desire true Christian fellowship from those who work for the enemy and masquerade as a Christian. In our social media, it’s getting even more difficult to know the difference. We are deeply grieved to see so much false prophecy and twisted theology leading so many people astray. We pray for all your children to test the teachings given to them with the whole Word of God and with the indwelling Holy Spirit. Lead them to seek out mature believers to confirm or deny teachings presented to them. For indeed the hour is late and your coming is at hand. We pray that all your children be filled with the Holy Spirit and be made ready for your glorious return. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Through thy precepts, I get understanding: therefore, I hate every false way. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path” (Psalms 119:104-105).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 2/28/2017

Good morning Gracious Heavenly Father, indeed it’s always a pleasure and great gain to come into thy holy presence. Thank you, dear Lord, for showing us the truth that financial gain is not a result of godliness. Most often we have discovered that even the desire for financial gain can be used by the enemy to destroy our faith and lead us to a life of ungodliness. Help us, Oh Lord, to always be content with what you have already graciously given to us, being thankful in all things. Help us to always strive for a godly life with the faith of a child that you will provide for the basic needs of your children, being careful not to compare our living standards to others. We pray that we will always be content with what you have given to us, knowing that along with godliness is great gain. We pray that you will give us courage and boldness to separate from those who are destitute of this truth. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself. But godliness with contentment is great gain” (I Timothy 6:5-6).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 2/27/2017

Holy Righteous Father we come humbly into your presence this morning. We are so grieved when we hear of so called evangelical churches who twist your fundamental truths capturing weak minded souls in their web of deceit. We pray first that you will deliver these precious souls by shining the light of your truth through true believers who could rescue them from the clutches of the enemy and his false prophets. Then secondly, we pray against those who would twist your Words and make outrageous statements to capture the immature in their churches and online through social media. Publicly expose their false prophecy and hold them accountable to your divine judgment. We are so grieved because these false prophets, working for the enemy, are giving a bad name to Christianity, keeping many souls from coming to the truth. We pray, Oh Lord, that you strengthen us to stand firm against the enemy and his minions. We pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. And of some have compassion, making a difference: And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh” (Jude 1:20-23).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 2/26/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you, dear Lord, for giving your Spirit to every believer as the most precious gift ever and the most powerful. Thank you, Oh Lord, for entrusting this gift to us in the very beginning when we were still immature babes in Christ. We pray that every believer would take the time to build a relationship with the indwelling Holy Spirit by learning how to listen and obey His voice. Give us all great discernment to know the difference between His voice, our old nature, and the enemies. Then continue to help us to keep in step with the indwelling Spirit following His lead even if the old man is resistant to it. Above all we pray that the believers today would not forget about the Holy Spirit allowing their light to go out following the path of lukewarm Christianity. We believe, to be known by you is to know your Spirit every moment of every day. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not” (Matthew 25:11-12, read the whole Parable).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 2/25/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. The joy of your presence is beyond words this morning, knowing that you are in total control. No matter what happens in the days and weeks ahead, you are in control. Learning to slow down and wait upon you to fulfill your agenda in our life and the world’s is becoming easier and even more pleasurable. Praise God. We have always trusted you, Oh Lord, but the waiting had been difficult, but now you have made it easy. One day at a time. Even more, one precious moment at a time. Hallelujah. We pray that all your children around the world would slow down to enjoy your presence one moment at a time trusting in you to direct our path working out all things to bring glory to your holy Name. Praise God. We simply cannot get caught up in the world’s aggressive agenda, moving at breakneck speed to change and discover new horizons, but rest in the assurance that you also have that under control. Praise God. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him” (Psalms 62:5).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 2/24/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Yes Lord, when everything seems scattered and out of sorts, it’s time to wait and just trust in You. Yes Lord, when our direction seems uncertain and our best laid plans are not materializing, it’s time to wait and just trust in You. Oh Lord, waiting is hard to do. At times our strength feels sapped and motivation is most difficult. We call upon you today in prayer asking that you renew our strength and direct our path helping us to prioritize our schedule. Open our eyes Lord, so we can see what’s really important to You and the Kingdom work here on earth. Help us to not get trapped in the mundane, doing the same thing over and over again, but not accomplishing your will. Help us, Oh Lord, to lift our eyes to heaven allowing you to show us our path forward bringing forth a great harvest of righteousness, making a real difference in our life and the life of others. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint” (Isaiah 40:31).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 2/23/2017

Good morning Holy and Righteous Father, we are so blessed to come into thy presence. Thank you Lord for putting within all your true children a tremendous desire for your coming. Although no one knows the exact hour or date of your return, we have all from the First Century felt and believed it to be soon, examining the signs and making preparation. We pray that your beloved children everywhere would not believe the lie that you have already come, for indeed your Word indicates that many will come claiming to be Jesus Christ to lead people astray. Open their eyes to the truth that every eye shall see your wondrous coming in the clouds as the heathen mourn for they will have no excuse for rejecting you. We pray, Oh Lord, that you continue to teach us how to make preparation for your coming from growing spiritually to sharing the gospel and everything else the Spirit leads. Help us to be ready for thy glorious return. We pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen” (Revelation 1:7: also see Matthew 24:30).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 2/21/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father, what a beautiful day you have given us. Thank you Lord for teaching us not to under value our worth and role in the Kingdom as it relates to the world. Although, we are not unaware of the enemy’s role to discredit us by rising up mockers and negative reports, we will not allow it to hinder your work here on earth. Yes Lord, we are also not unaware how the enemy will use others to introduce false teachings and meaningless debates to get us off message. We pray that the message that you have given to us in the beginning will always remain the same and not be altered by the pressures in the world to conform to their unrighteous standards. Here we stand, Oh Lord, we can do none other. It is your simple yet powerful message of hope that will change the heart of man, so let us never grow tired of delivering it in your Name. For we are convinced, until man’s heart is changed then all your beautiful laws and commandments will have little effect. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God. For I determined not to know anything among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified” (I Corinthians 2:1-2).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 2/20/2017

Holy Righteous Father we come humbly into your presence this morning seeking your comfort and continued direction. Please comfort us from all the pain and confusion in the world. All the negative and hateful things being said against one another hurts nearly as bad as the many diseases we must bear. Lead us, Oh Lord, to be a strong voice of love and respect for everyone we come into contact even if we don’t totally agree with their position. Lead us to always speak the truth in love without finding fault or making slanderous remarks with everyone we come into contact. On the other hand, when we hear these negative things coming from our media, where we have no personal contact, lead us not to spread their hateful message and false reports, because it will only add to the hurt and confusion in the world. Moreover, your Word has taught us to share a false report only makes us an unrighteous witness. Therefore, lead us, Oh Lord, to only share the truth in dignified reporting. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Thou shalt not raise a false report: put not thine hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness” (Exodus 23:1).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 2/19/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father we offer to you all the praise, honor, and glory that we can muster, for indeed you are worthy. Thank you Lord that you inhabit the praises of men, which is our sure defense against the enemy who wishes to fill our minds with evil thoughts and vain imaginations. We pray, Oh Lord, that you will not allow us to be troubled with evil dreams and wicked imaginings that brings us to the threshold of temptation. We pray that you will deliver us from the evil one who wants to trip us up by dwelling on evil temptation thus allowing it to become a desire, which after being dragged away and enticed gives birth to sin. We pray, Oh Lord, that you would deliver us from all debilitating diseases or the side effects caused by medications that would allow the enemy to cast temptation in our path. We know that you have great power, Oh Lord, to deliver us from every temptation caused by the enemy and our own evil thoughts if we would only immediately cast them out while offering you continuous praise and adoration. We pray this in the powerful Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen” (Matthew 6:13).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 2/18/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. We enter our prayer closet this morning with heavy hearts, because many in our world today, even among believers, withhold the whole truth thinking it is best for others. We have seen this especially among the medical professionals of our day, who withhold vital information from their patients. Many others speak in half-truths looking to manipulate the outcome. We have seen this especially among the politicians of our day. We have even seen the withholding of the whole truth among believers for either seeking an unfair advantage, wishing to protect their untarnished character, or build themselves up. We pray that all people especially those who call upon the name of the Lord would always speak the whole truth and nothing but the truth, knowing that our conversation is seen by both man and by you. Help us, Oh Lord, to trust you with our character and position in life, knowing that speaking the truth is like the springs of fresh water to the soul and that lying begets more lying and the awful stagnate pollution to our soul. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds” (Colossians 3:9).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 2/17/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father how righteous and glorious are all your ways. We seek an audience with your holiness this morning asking that you search us to see if there be any unclean thing that we need to repent of as we enter into thy divine presence. Thank you Lord for your forgiveness, your matchless grace, and loving acceptance. We are yours forever more. We pray, Oh Lord, that you alone give us our marching orders every day. We are in your divine service. Give us the strength and wisdom, Oh Lord, to fulfill your orders even if we are mocked, ridiculed, or persecuted. Motivate and empower us in our weaknesses caused by many things, such as, emotional instability, old age, or health related issues. We desire to always give our best in honor of our King, for indeed we are true ambassadors of Christ representing the eternal Kingdom. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God” (II Corinthians 5:20).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 2/16/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father what a beautiful cold morning we have in Texas today. It’s good to be alive during this time when we know with all assurance that your coming is not far off. We see all the signs so clearly now and long to be in your perfect will. Keep us on the narrow path without going too far to the right or to the left, but in the center always focused on you and not the world. The more we focus on you high and lifted up, the more we see all in the world is simply an illusion, for all that’s on the surface is not truth, but a guise to lead the world astray. Many people are speaking out of both sides of their mouth giving the appearance they are speaking the truth. We pray humbly that your children will not be led astray and overcome by the enemy. Give them eyes to see and ears to hear for indeed the time is short. We pray this in the glorious Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen” (Revelation 22:20-21).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 2/15/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. We pray that all Christians everywhere will unite under the banner of truth and righteousness. Lead them, Oh Lord, to embrace the fundamental doctrines of our faith that unites us as true followers of Christ. Let us come together as a strong united voice to take our stand against a confused and fractured world. We pray that all Christians everywhere would no longer allow denominational doctrines beyond the fundamental basics of our salvation separate us, making us a laughing stock to a divided world. Allow our strong voice of unity be heard around the world standing shoulder to shoulder against all other so called religions that seek our destruction. Lead us, Oh Lord, to stand together against all perversions in our society that seek to pollute our children and against the lawlessness that destroys our unborn children. We pray that you would unite all your children in brotherly love giving us a single powerful voice to bring about change. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace” (Ephesians 4:3, read Verses 1-6).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 2/14/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. As we enter our prayer closet this morning we are mindful of all those who are suffering in the world. The weather patterns are shocking at best, but we take great comfort in knowing that you are in total control and nothing escapes your eye. We pray that all your children everywhere will be a beacon of hope for those who are suffering from these calamities, leading them to turn from their wickedness and trust in your providence. We pray that all people everywhere would stop blaming others, including the world leaders, for their problems and look at their own wickedness. Cause them, Oh Lord, to see their standing before a Holy and Righteous God so that their sins would be magnified, allowing thy Holy Spirit to bring great conviction upon their hearts. We pray that you would rescue those who are suffering from these calamities and give them hope for a new life in you, through repentance and faith. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ, Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father: To whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen” (Galatians 1:3-5).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 2/13/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Forgive us, Oh Lord, if we have unintentionally put out the Spirit’s fire. Help us to be very careful with our thoughts knowing that any unwholesome thought can extinguish the Spirit’s fire leaving us to feel cold and quite alone from the warmth of thy holy presence. Guard our thoughts, Oh Lord, of vanity, pride, avarice, worldliness, and anything else that would quench the Spirit keeping us from hearing His blessed voice. We pray that we would never doubt the moving of thy Holy Spirit through His many wonderful gifts keeping us from experiencing your power and majesty here upon earth. On the other hand, lead us to fan into flame the gifts of God, which is in us through thy divine providence. We pray that all thy blessed children would use their Spiritual gifts to awaken the world of thy presence and mighty work. We pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Quench not the Spirit” (I Thessalonians 5:19).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 2/12/2017

Our Father who art in heaven hallowed be thy glorious Name. What joy it is to enter our prayer closet this morning and allow you to minister to our soul. As we are transfixed by your presence teach us, Oh Lord, to enjoy the moment and meditate deeply upon the verses that you bring forth from thy Holy Scripture through thy indwelling Spirit. Thank you Father for showing us the depth of your love that will bind the entire creation together as one with no division, no hate or any unrighteousness. We pray for that unity now amongst the true believers in Christ who have put off the old life and walking in the new. Bind them together as one demonstrating their love for one another without religious labels or human traditions that divide, but holding to the simple yet profound truths that unite us as one. Although this may be only a faithful remnant, strengthen us to be a formidable voice to a divided world. We pray this in the powerful Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me” (John 17:20-21).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 2/11/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. In the midst of the rebellion, we pray for the faithful remnant to stand firm in their beliefs and not be overcome by the wiles of the devil. We pray that all Christians everywhere hold to the fundamental beliefs concerning their salvation. We pray that all are growing spiritually from one degree of glory to another putting off the old life and putting on the new. We pray that all are producing every manner of spiritual fruit by keeping in step with the indwelling Spirit. We pray that all are obedient to thy holy commandments as they are being written upon their hearts by the Holy Spirit. We pray that all are performing good works as they are being led by the indwelling Spirit to the glory of God. We pray that they would come out from among those who would lead them to accept everyone’s beliefs and practices in the evil spirit of globalization. Help them, Oh Lord, to stand firm in their beliefs even if faced with alienation or persecution. We pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord.

Daniel W. Blair 2/10/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. We pray, Oh Lord, that you continue to give us wisdom and discernment for the age in which we live. We don’t seek earthly wisdom, but heavenly wisdom from above to look beyond what our physical eyes can see to spiritual truth in the heavenly realm. Many find sounding arguments are made in our day to lead so many astray continually dividing and setting them against one another. We seek heavenly wisdom, which is first of all pure, divine truth with no mixture of error, then peaceable. For indeed the purity of divine truth changes the heart leading us to make peace with others without changing or diluting the truth that you have given us. Give us strength, Oh Lord, to stand firm proclaiming the truth with all peaceableness even as the world rails against us. We pray this in the powerful Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace” (James 3:17-18).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 2/9/2017

Holy Righteous Father we come again humbly before you seeking your wisdom and counsel, for we live in a world of confusion and hostility. We feel as though all the media outlets, including social media, are dragging everyone about seeking to conform them to the pattern of this world. Help us, Oh Lord, to break free and no longer be conformed to the pattern of this world, but to be transformed by the renewal of our minds. Let all our thoughts and actions be subject to your divine will instead of being pulled about by the world. Through the renewal of our minds allow us to see the good and perfect will for our lives, which takes a completely different direction from the world. Then give us strength and determination, Oh Lord, to follow that will even if we feel as though we are swimming upstream and against the current. We pray this in the glorious Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin” (James 4:17; also see Romans 12:1-2).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 2/8/2017

Holy Righteous Father we come humbly into our prayer closet this morning. We ask, Oh Lord, that you continue to write your laws upon our hearts through thy Holy Spirit. Bring conviction upon our hearts when we stray from one of thy blessed commandments. It is our utmost desire to walk as holy and righteous children in an unholy world to demonstrate our love for you. We are deeply grieved when people who are called by your Name act and speak like the world through their filthy language, falsehoods, and thefts. Help us, dear Lord, to always speak the truth in love and not be carried away by every idol gossip or conspiracy theory. Lead us to stay focused only on your eternal truth and obedient to all your beautiful commandments. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“If ye love me, keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever” (John 14:15-16).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 2/7/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. As we enter our prayer closet this morning we are mindful of your many blessings. Although we may suffer from many things, from health-related issues to attacks upon our character by unbelievers, we know that nothing can separate us from your magnificent love. Your love just keeps filling our soul to overflowing allowing us to have a deeper appreciation for all that you have so graciously given us. Even the simple things like an early morning sunrise to the gentle cool breeze coming through our open window it gives us such great pleasure and somehow causes us to feel so much closer to you. Then there is the great joy and peace bestowed upon us by the indwelling Spirit that causes us to instantly forget all our pain and struggles while we bask once again in your loving care. One by one we begin to count our many blessings causing us to fall down in humble adoration and praise to you our Lord and Savior. Help us, Oh Lord, to never forget all our benefits and your all powerful unchanging love. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 8:38-39).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 2/6/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Help us to stay focused on you this week and what you want to accomplish in the Kingdom of God. The world is moving at breakneck speed casting a dark shadow over what you want to accomplish through your people. As we fall down in all humility, show us what’s really important as we make our plans, schedule our meetings, and speak out for you to a world that has all but stopped listening. Lead us not to waste our time doing the mundane or the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Give us an ear to hear what the Spirit is saying to the Church. Allow us to venture out on faith doing something different bringing greater results to thy Kingdom here on earth. We are the Church, your people, who serve the living God seeking to do your will in all things. We pray this in the glorious Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches” (Revelation 3:22).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 2/5/2017

Our Father who art in heaven how great and glorious is your Name. What a privilege it is to come every day into your presence allowing you to give us your joy and strengthening our faith in you. Indeed, we do have faith that you will bring this world to a close based on your prophetic timeline and not on fallen humanities. We pray, Oh Lord, that we will not get distracted by all that’s happening in the world right now, but run the race set before us keeping our eyes upon Jesus Christ the Author and Finisher of our faith. Help us to put off every distraction and besetting sin that keeps us from running in the race to win the prize. We pray, Oh Lord, that you show us the distractions and our besetting sins, those so called “little sins,” we refuse to depart with, but keep tripping us up and putting us on the sidelines. We know only by running the race can we continue to experience the joy and excitement we had in the beginning, so help us to run for our life. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us” (Hebrews 12:1).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 2/3/2017

Holy Righteous Father we come humbly into our prayer closet this morning seeking your counsel alone. Help us, Oh Lord, to know how to deal with people who constantly sow seeds of discord among the brethren, who always find fault, or see things that simply don’t exist. We know that you have called us to be one people in the faith so we always strive to that end by forgiving others, turning the other cheek, going the extra mile, and rebuking when necessary. We pray that our words of rebuke would always be seasoned with salt, meant to encourage, filled with heavenly wisdom, allowing our brother to see their besetting sin that so easily entangles. Above all lead us to do everything in love seeking to unite the brotherhood under the banner of Christ and His righteousness, obedient to all His commands. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me” (John 17:20-21).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 2/2/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you Lord that all knowledge and wisdom resides with you. We believe that you alone are all knowing and trust in you to lead us into all truth with no mixture of error. We are so grieved that a news media once believed to always speak the truth has now in recent years purposely spread truth mixed with errors both in content and headlines. We pray, Oh Lord, that your children will not be caught up in this web of lies and deceit. Although most of this negative reporting is accepted by the masses, it is also followed as a legitimate way to report. We pray that your children, called by your Name, will not follow this evil methodology in reporting, but only speak and write the whole truth with no mixture of error. We pray that all your children would also be careful not to spread their malicious lies on the social media networks, but be harbingers of spreading only the truth. We humbly pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting” (Psalms 139:23-24).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 2/1/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. We always long to be in the Spirit and draw closer to you for it is there we find so much joy and peace to start a new day. We cannot even imagine starting a day without you preparing our hearts for all that you want to accomplish in the course of a day. Although we know things do change, we are confident if we keep in step with the Spirit then we will have ministered to all whom you have chosen. We pray that we will see every opportunity and every open door that you give us to minister to others in love and good deeds. You have taught us, this can only be possible if we see everyone the way you do, without judging them on their looks, race, age or the amount of struggles they are going through. Help us, Oh Lord, to never be conceited, prideful, or to think of ourselves more highly than we ought so that our love will always be sincere. We pray this in the glorious Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit” (Galatians 5:25).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/31/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father, Holy and Righteous are all your ways. We enter our prayer closet early this morning grieved about all the obstruction being caused to our democracy. More than ever we need spiritual discernment to look beyond what the physical eyes can see into the spiritual realm. Allow us, Oh Lord, to see the spiritual powers of darkness and how they are moving a great portion of this nation to obstruct your righteous laws and lead a people into spiritual bondage and all manner of wickedness. Allow your great light to shine through your people called by your Name, causing all in bondage and being moved by the powers of darkness to see their deplorable condition. We pray that it will lead them to repentance. Help and encourage every Christian, Oh Lord, to take up the banner of truth and righteousness speaking boldly to the obstructionist before all is lost to a host of wickedness. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places” (Ephesians 6:12).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/29/2017

Holy Righteous Father how wonderful are all your precious promises to your beloved children. We all experience some ups and downs in our lives on a planet that’s all but turned its back upon you, but we continue with great joy in our hearts believing in and realizing many of your blessed promises. Yes, Lord, our actions do validate or deny our faith in the promises. Help us, Oh Lord, to follow the promises with faith in our hearts validating and realizing them with the appropriate actions given to us through thy Holy Word. For instance, we all long for the promise of peace that defies understanding, so lead us, Oh Lord, to follow the admonitions in Scripture to rejoice always, be gentle to all remembering that you’re near, thankful in all things through prayer, and refusing to be anxious. Thank you Lord for this amazing peace realized during our greatest storms. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:7).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/28/2017

Good morning Gracious Heavenly Father the Mighty One who always bears with us. Forgive us, Oh Lord, for our transgressions against you and others, because we have not carefully followed the anointed Scripture. We have often, like many in our fast-paced world, spoken or written before getting all the facts. At times, we have also demonstrated our righteous anger or our negative bias based on faulty information, and for this too we humbly ask for your forgiveness. Teach us Lord to listen quickly by getting all the facts and slow to speak by taking the time necessary to listen to thy indwelling Spirit on what He says concerning the matter. Help us, Oh Lord, to always think before we speak or write for we know failure to do so could cause us to act unrighteously by displaying anger and negative bias, that will always hurt others. So once again, we humbly ask for your forgiveness in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God” (James 1:19-20).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/27/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father how glorious is your Name in all the earth. We pray, Oh Lord, that you will give every Christian discernment, a gift so important in these last days. As the crowds form to take one position or another, help us to never be afraid to stand alone in our beliefs. Lead us, Oh Lord, to always listen to the voice and direction of thy indwelling Spirit, before we blindly follow the crowd. Help us to always discern their true intentions or their entire agenda before we march so proudly behind their ranks. Although none go with us, lead us to follow you alone my God and my Savior. Help us to pridefully hold up the banner of truth, righteousness and love in a world of lies, immorality and hate. Let us never join the ranks of those who hate those who are different, for those who refuse to follow the crowd, or for those who hate the unborn child. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat. Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it” (Matthew 7:13-14).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/26/2017

Our Father who art in heaven Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. As we enter our prayer closet this morning you have put it into our minds about how your will is followed in heaven. Surly this should be our goal for our life here on earth as you have taught us to pray. We pray, Oh Lord, that you would write your will upon our hearts through the reading of all your commands in the Holy Bible. Bring them to our memory through thy indwelling Spirit so we don’t follow our will or the will of the world, but your will alone. Lead us to always follow the whole counsel of your will and to not get stuck on just a few favorite things to follow while ignoring the rest. We pray that we would always demonstrate our submissiveness to you through obedience to all your beautiful commands. We pray this in Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven” (Matthew 6:10).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/25/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you Lord for being our reality. Especially in a time when many have lost all touch with what’s real. Many have simply gotten lost in their vain imagination and puffed up in false humility. We pray, Oh Lord, that you keep us from adding man made traditions and the principles of this world to our most holy worship and praise of You. Let it never be done in false humility to garner the praise of men, but let us come before thee with empty hands and a submissive heart in true humility. Lead us, Oh Lord, to always shut the door to our prayer closet so that our prayers are just between us, in secret, with no thought of projecting a false humility to others. Even as we pray for others let those prayers be done in secret allowing you to lead us in prayer, for you know their real needs much greater than our vain imagination puffed up in false humility. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Do not let anyone who delights in false humility and the worship of angels disqualify you. Such a person also goes into great detail about what they have seen; they are puffed up with idle notions by their unspiritual mind” (Colossians 2:18, NIV – please read Chapter Two)

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/24/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. As we enter our prayer closet this morning we are reminded of a few hallmarks of Christianity: humility, honesty, and speaking the truth in love. Yet, in all honesty we all fall short of these lofty goals for every true believer in Christ. Help us to be cognitive of all that we say and do keeping us from lying or doing anything dishonest no matter how small of insignificant we determine it to be. Help us, Oh Lord, to also see that the slightest exaggeration is still a lie that builds pride and not humility. Show us the true path to humility by considering others better than ourselves and not to think of ourselves more highly than we ought. We pray, Oh Lord, that faith will always lead us to cast all our cares and concerns upon you knowing that you will lift us up in due time, becoming more than we could ever imagine. We pray this in the Name of our Blessed Savior Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you” (I Peter 5:6-7).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/23/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. As we enter our prayer closet this morning we are mindful of our leaders we need to pray for daily. We are mindful that our new President Donald J. Trump is in need of prayer so that he can effectively govern this great country with honesty and a spirit of humility. We honestly don’t know of his true Spiritual condition, so we pray that you would allow him to see You high and lifted up and that Donald J. Trump would see his own righteousness as filthy rags in need of repentance, forgiveness, and salvation by your hand. We pray, O Lord, that you write your righteous laws upon his heart, that he would not sin against you. We pray that the Holy Spirit would convict him of every sin causing him to cry out to you for divine forgiveness. We pray, Oh Lord, that humility and not pride would become the hallmark of his new administration helping him to govern fairly and righteously for all the people. We pray that you would guard and protect Donald J. Trump and his entire family from all manner of evil. We pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty” (I Timothy 2:1-2).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/22/2017

As we enter our prayer closet this morning one wonders how to pray. So, we humbly fall prostrate before you, Oh Magnificent God of heaven and earth, asking for wisdom on how to open the eyes of so many who have been blinded by the talking heads on news media and the liberal professors in our colleges. Our hearts are grieved that so many are in captivity to the lies and gross immorality of our age. You have changed the leadership in our country, we ask that you now change the hearts and minds of the population. Raise up an army of witnesses proclaiming only the truth, with no mixture of error, to set the captives free. Teach your children, Oh Lord, to preach against the sin, but more importantly to also offer the glorious new life in You through the timeless Gospel of Jesus Christ. We pray that You lead every Christian to plead with everyone they know, for its far better to receive life rather than death and eternal damnation. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, if ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:31-32).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/21/2017

Holy Righteous Father our hearts are filled with joy as we enter our prayer closet this morning. We believe that history is changing right before our eyes casting the world into a completely different direction. For the first time in a very long time things will be called what they really are and everything that seeks to divide and destroy will be exposed. We pray, oh Lord, that all who would seek to divide and destroy would be put into their place by removing all coverage of their evil acts from both the media and social networks. We know only through unity can your prophetic timeline culminate in the soon appearance of our blessed Savior and Lord Jesus Christ from heaven. Amen We pray that you protect and continue to lead our new President Donald J. Trump and his entire staff to accomplish your will to fulfill the prophetic destiny. We pray this in the powerful Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, see thou do it not: I am thy fellow servant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy” (Revelation 19:10).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/19/2017

Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Grant us peace today as we seek thy will in serving you in the ministry. Indeed, we are all in the ministry commissioned by you in the beginning of our new life in you. Lead us always to speak the truth in love being true ambassadors for Christ. Help us to spend our time wisely making the most of every opportunity and every open door that you give us, to speak as your representative never for our own gain, but what’s best for others. Give us ears to hear, oh Lord, what is truly best for others, not from our limited knowledge, but from thy divine resources given to us by the indwelling Spirit at the moment we need them. Praise God. What a joy it is to see you, oh Lord, working and speaking through us to change the lives of others for your glory. There is no greater joy than to see people humbly seek thy saving grace and then grow spiritually from one degree of glory to another. Thank you Lord for allowing us to participate in this great work that you have called every true believer in Christ. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen (Matthew 28:19-20).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/18/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father the One who knows our inner most thoughts. We come humbly and broken once again into thy holy presence. When you put thoughts into our minds and then confirm them through thy Holy Spirit it brings joy that you are speaking to us, but it can also bring terror casting us to the floor in humble submission and adoration. The words you gave are, “If I was Satan, I would win the hearts and minds of God’s children first, then the rest of fallen humanity will come in their time.” If we believe these words, then we plead for great discernment to know if we are being led astray and courage to proclaim the truth even if it falls on deaf ears. Indeed, we are at a turning point in history where things will never be the same, so give us physical and spiritual strength to face each day. Continue, oh Lord, to fill us to overflowing with your great love and mercy. We humbly pray this in the powerful Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations” (Revelation 13:7).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/16/2017

Good morning Holy and Righteous Father. We are so happy to finally make it into our prayer closet today. We cannot know the future and probably would not want to know the personal details of our lives for we are sure that they might cause us untold grief. We are blessed that you have promised to be with us in our life’s journey one step at a time, to never leave us or forsake us. Praise God. We never really know what the day is going to bring, but we can take great joy and confidence that you are with us. We pray that we will not be anxious about tomorrow, but take every day, every hour, and every moment to stay focused on you and your abiding presence. Help us, we pray, to keep in step with thy Holy Spirit allowing Him to always lead and guide us along life’s narrow way, one step at a time. In so doing you have taught us to enjoy every moment of every day, keeping our minds free from past or future worries. We pray this in the glorious Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit” (Galatians 5:25, NIV).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/15/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. We humbly come into our prayer closet today praising you for your goodness and mercy. We want to thank you for Spiritual eyes that can see and interpret the times in which we live. While most look at the physical things that are happening in this country and around the world drawing their conclusions and making their predictions, it is only your children who have been given true spiritual insight. We praise and worship you alone for your gift of spiritual discernment, but also for its terrifying responsibility to speak and write as you direct even in the face of violent opposition. Give all your children, oh Lord, courage and strength to speak and write boldly as they should. Although many of your children see and understand, very few have the courage or confidence to speak out, for fear of intimidation or being mocked. Give all your children ears to hear what the Spirit says to the Churches and then motivate them to speak and not be led about like defenseless sheep. We pray this in the glorious Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak. For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you” (Matthew 10:19-20).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/14/2017

Good morning Holy Righteous Father. As we enter our prayer closet today we are mindful of the importance of speaking only the truth, for indeed it is the one thing that separates us from the old life of sin more than anything. As the devil is the father of lies we know that our God is the Author of truth and righteousness. We pray, oh Lord, that you continue to convict us that purposely leaving out vital information or facts is not speaking the whole truth. Convict us, oh Lord, that by adding unverifiable facts, especially for the purpose of exaggeration, is a lie and should not be spoken by your children as the whole truth. You know how difficult this is for some of your children who come out of a life of lies, exaggerations, and deception, so we not only pray for your continued conviction, but also for your grace and mercy as they struggle to live the new life in Christ, always speaking the whole truth with no mixture of error. We pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it” (John 8:44).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/13/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father, the One who holds us in the palm of your mighty hand. As fear levels are reaching an all-time high due to many factors, such as trusting that a new world leader doesn’t drive America off a cliff, the uncertainty in the rise of Eastern powers, continuing relentless weather, Friday the 13th, and a full moon, to name just a few, we pray that your children not be alarmed. Help all your beloved children to stand firm in their faith believing that nothing can separate us from your magnificent love and providential care. We are all versed well in the prophetic timeline and should not be unsettled in recent events or events that may happen in the future. We pray, oh Lord, that our trust in you alone will continue to grow and become even more resolute. We pray that your mighty love will cast out all fear of thy precious children by leading us to love more, even beyond measure, perfecting our love. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love” (I John 4:18).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/12/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank God, you are not just a figment of our imagination, but more real than life itself. Thank you Lord for giving us the gift of thy Holy Spirit, the living seal, and guarantee of your abiding presence, and the fulfillment of all thy wonderful promises. No longer are we left alone to face the many trials and Tribulations in the world. No longer must we suffer alone when contracting a disease, sickness, or the bewildering effects of old age, but you are right here with us putting joy in our hearts and a smile on our face. Praise God. In the midst of the storm you are right here with us, holding us in the palm of your hand, leading us to proclaim to the world your message of salvation and the promised gift of thy Holy Spirit, your eternal presence with us. We pray that we will always be thankful no matter how fierce the storm becomes, allowing us an opportunity to testify of your love and confidence that we have in you, which is truly music to our ears. We pray this joyfully in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God; Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts” (II Corinthians 1:21-22).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/11/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father, we bless thy holy name. You know that the world, especially as we draw closer to the end, can be a very stressful place even for your blessed children, because of the incompetence or the shirking of responsibility of many. Although our loved ones may be adversely affected by this incompetence or lack of responsibility, we pray that you give us the patience to go the extra mile while continuing to hold them accountable. We pray, oh Lord, that the demonstration of our love would not be diminished in the least. Teach us again the importance of trusting you, not only for ourselves, but for the care of our loved ones. Also, remind us again, dear Lord, that the power of forgiveness will truly reduce stress as we wait upon you to render your justice and protect all your beloved children. We humbly pray this in the powerful Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven” (Matthew 18:21-22).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/10/2017

Good Morning Heavenly Father. As we enter our prayer closet this morning we are anxious to have a conversation with you. Nothing in the world is more important than communicating with you, oh Lord, and receiving your Words of life and direction. How can we start another day without them, is but a fleeting memory? How can anyone boast about weakness? Especially in a world that shuns weakness and takes such great pride in strength, allow us to see thy wisdom. Lead us, oh Lord, to embrace this weakness. We pray that you teach us daily how to become nothing so that you can become everything in us. Teach us die to self as Christ is being formed up within us. Yes, Lord we are beginning to see that are weakness is great gain, a matter of boast, if we can proclaim that it is no longer I that live, but Christ that lives within me. Praise God. So along with the ancients, the true saints of God, we gladly boast of our weakness. We humbly pray this in the glorious Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me” (Galatians 2:20).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/8/2017

Good Morning Heavenly Father. Often times we may feel as if our mortal bodies are wasting away through disease, sickness, or simply old age, but we have the assurance that you are renewing our spirit day by day. Praise God. We pray that you help us to continue that upward calling in Christ Jesus our Lord by putting off the old life and putting on the new. Let us not be entrapped once again to the bondages of this world through its entertainment and lifeless social media, but lead us, oh Lord, to spend our time in total service to you, through our spiritual service to others. Allow thy Holy Spirit to continue its work in us through our meditative prayers and study of thy Holy Word, which always leads us to do thy will and not ours. We pray our focus will always be on our eternal glory and not our momentary afflictions. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day” (II Corinthians 4:16).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/7/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. Today we want to express our deepest and most sincere love for you, knowing that all we have become and yet to be is your doing. We must admit it’s not easy to understand why we Christians have such a great love for our God. Every day it seems to get stronger and stronger as it flows out of the depth of our hearts and returns back to you. We know somehow it was you, who put this love for you in our hearts allowing it to grow beyond measure. Although we have learned that we simply cannot out love you, we have seen the more we love you, the more we feel your great love flow back to us. Praise God. Our love for you is proven in the many times you have so wonderfully worked all things together for good. Our love for you is proved by the many times that we have not allowed ourselves to be sidetracked by the world or overcome by the power of sin. Praise God. We lovingly pray this in the glorious Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/6/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. On this cold frigid morning, we long for the warmth of your love. We desire true spiritual wisdom to discern all that’s going on in the world. As a great game of chess on the world stage is being played out, what we can see is many ideological pieces being moved quickly into place to take this nation and the world in a completely different direction. We pray, oh Lord, that this new direction will not blind thy holy people of the world’s true intentions to follow the prophetic timeline by turning her people away from her one true God. Help us to stay awake Spirituality in the coming weeks and months so we are not swept away by the coming deception, but will be among the first to see and sound the alarm among thy people. We put all our trust and faith in you alone as we face our tomorrows. We pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief” (I Thessalonians 5:3-4).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/5/2017

Good morning Heavenly Father. We honor your Name above all names as we humbly come into thy presence. Thank you for the talents and Spiritual gifts that you have so graciously given to each and every child of yours made new in Christ. It is you who has placed them exactly where they need to be among thy holy people for their mutual benefit for all. So, we pray, oh Lord, that we not neglect the Spiritual gifts and talents that each of has been given. Help us to identify our unique Spiritual gifts and talents and start using them immediately to the glory of God. We pray, oh Lord, that others in the Kingdom would either confirm or deny our Spiritual gifts and talents based upon their effectiveness and the use of their spiritual insight to validate. Help us to never bury our talent or deny our Spiritual gifts to the detriment of ourselves and our fellow believers. We pray this in the glorious Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant.” (I Corinthians 12:1).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/4/2017

We happily come into our prayer closet this morning for indeed it is our life line in a confused and hurting world. There is no need to tell us that we should pray unceasingly, for you have taught us the great advantage of a meditative prayer life that overcomes every spiritual, emotional or psychological problem. As we come into thy holy presence we can’t help from being thankful for everything, even if we have not the world’s goods and services. We have you, which is a far greater thing. The stress is dissipated, worries are erased, guilt is forgiven, and fear is driven away by your great love as we bend to pray. Praise God. All this worldly trauma coming at us at the speed of light is exchanged for a peace thy defies understanding as we come wholly into thy glorious presence. Praise God. Even in our worst trials and tribulations, we pray that it never robs us of our meditative prayers to you seeking your continued peace and guidance. We pray this in the glorious Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. Quench not the Spirit” (I Thessalonians 5:16-19).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 1/3/2017

Good Morning Heavenly Father. We would really like to make America, our home, great again, yet we feel many misunderstand what that means. Pride continues to reign uninterrupted as it promises a glorious future with economic fairness and stability; a stronger and more robust military to protect us, and a health care plan that’s affordable for all. There are many things to get excited about especially the possibility of peace in Israel. But now you have awakened us, oh Lord, that real greatness will not come as long as we allow our national sins to continue and prosper. We are grieved that in our march toward greatness that a blind eye has once again ignored this scourge upon our land. The homosexual minority continues unabated setting its agenda for the rest to follow while the continuing slaughter of unborn children in the millions slip into the night unnoticed. We pray, oh Lord, that you awaken this nation of its national sin before it’s too late to stop thy wrath from consuming this land. We pray this in the powerful Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities” (Revelation 18:4-5).

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new Creation"
