Only Truth Will Set Us Free

“The truth will set you free,” has rung through all the hallowed halls of humanity since these words were first uttered two millennia ago by the Son of God. As the world goes deeper and deeper into bondage, they still don’t understand the meaning of these amazingly powerful words. Consequently, the world is still being held captive by the powers of darkness, which has created enslavement to every emotional and psychological problem known to mankind. Hate and hostility are literally ripping them apart as the whole world is racing toward Armageddon. The prophets of old spoke about a time in the future when the spirit of Antichrist would arise as the man of lawlessness in an age of unchecked anarchy and unfettered lawlessness. Well, the time is now, and the great nations of the earth have sunk deeper into bondage legalizing every abominable transgression against God’s holy law. It’s most difficult to just read the headlines in the daily news media where nearly every story has humanity fighting against one another with slanderous words, unbelievable accusations, and unfiltered propaganda or some new conspiracy theory. There is not a day that goes by where people are savagely killed, wounded, or even tortured beyond belief. Listen, and you can hear their voices crying out in agony with no known escape from their horrific captivity. Continue reading Only Truth Will Set Us Free

Prepare For The Journey

Every true believer in Christ should prepare for the journey beyond this life, even when we don’t know when it will be. We all know that the journey must come, either at our death or at the coming of the Lord. We also know, if we are honest, it can come at any time, in the twinkling of an eye. We will all make the journey. We will all go to a place to be judged in God’s predetermined time, but only God’s elect children will continue making their journey to the gates of heaven. Only the ones who have been chosen since the foundations of the world will be welcomed into paradise (Ephesians 1:4). Make no mistake, only God’s chosen children will have a deep indescribable desire to prepare for the journey. It is our responsibility to help God’s children to prepare now. We should not take this responsibility lightly. Let us all roll up our sleeves and get to work. If you throw this article down and have no interest in preparing for the journey, then you will be most pitted amongst God’s creation and you will have a most difficult time proving your election. So, please let me encourage you to read this entire article very carefully with much prayer and meditation. Your time is coming much sooner than you think. Continue reading Prepare For The Journey

Don’t Give Up on God

We are now clearly in the time of the falling away, especially in the West (II Thessalonians 2:3). I believe that many have simply given up on God. Perhaps they have forgotten or haven’t ever known that God loves them deeply. Perhaps with the discovery of the size and depth of space with its infinite distance, mankind feels that they are too small in the sight of God, or they feel insignificant. They ask candidly, “Does God believe in me?” With all the horrific pain in the world, many ask does God really care. They ask, “How can a loving God allow this tragic circumstance, happen to me?” Every day it gets tougher for humanity. Every day many wonder if they can make it another day as the world grows increasingly more dangerous from unchecked lawlessness to the threat of a nuclear war. Every day many experience the trauma of emotional and psychological problems. Every day many feel the brunt of the many different natural disasters destroying their homes, their livelihoods, and even their loved ones. Let’s be quite clear Satan, our old arch-enemy, wants us to give up on God. His one aim is to destroy your relationship with God. Continue reading Don’t Give Up on God

Anticipating the Glories of Heaven

What is your anticipation of heaven? Most of the western world has been captivated by the loss of Queen Elizabeth II, causing many to ponder their own deaths and the hereafter. Although they may not be vocal about their own coming deaths and their anticipation of heaven, I suggest that many are pondering those thoughts deep within their own hearts. So, I am asking you to pause for a moment of silence, look to heaven, and let us ponder the glories of heaven together. Let us approach the throne of grace together asking our Lord Jesus Christ to show us the unspeakable glories of heaven. As our static existence measured by time no longer exists, we enter into the glories of eternity. We are no longer captive to time and space but set free to experience all of creation in a timeless environment. Can you imagine the glory of not being locked into time, but having the ability to travel to the stars in the blink of an eye? I hope and pray that every believer in Christ has thought much about the glories of heaven and has their own anticipation based on their personal walk with Jesus Christ and Holy Scripture. Why Do Bad Things Happen?

The question most asked, even by professed followers of Christ is, “Why do bad things happen to me?” That’s a great question. It is a question that’s been asked since the beginning of time. It is a question that has haunted humanity since the dawn of history. If you seriously want to know the answer, keep reading. This is a question that must be brought before the Lord in deep prayer and meditation, taking time to listen to His every word. We live in a day where the age-old understanding of fate has resurfaced, especially among the unbelievers. Unbelievers now espouse their senseless rhetoric, “That things just happen” solidifying their belief in fate. This is a belief that everything that happens is beyond our control, contrary to what we do or don’t do; if we are bad or good it makes no difference to the outcome. Although this kind of thinking may help them to accept the onslaught of bad things happening to them, it doesn’t answer the question. It only delays the inevitable, which often leads to stress, psychological trauma, mental illnesses, or something far worse, eternal separation from God. Continue reading Why Do Bad Things Happen?
