Are You Living the Fulfilled Life? (Video)

Unfortunately, most who call upon the Name of Jesus Christ are not living the fulfilled life. Most are controlled by their schedules, rushing from one event to another with little time to relax in between. Worry, anxiety, and stress have become so commonplace, that many don’t realize how much it is affecting their physical and mental health. They don’t realize that when people blow up in public that they have reached their breaking point. When this happens, they don’t understand that anxiety and stress have won the day and crushed another soul. These people are not living the fulfilled life in Christ. Are You Living the Fulfilled Life?

Unfortunately, most who call upon the Name of Jesus Christ are not living the fulfilled life. Most are controlled by their schedules, rushing from one event to another with little time to relax in between. Worry, anxiety, and stress have become so commonplace, that many don’t realize how much it is affecting their physical and mental health. They don’t realize that when people blow up in public that they have reached their breaking point. When this happens, they don’t understand that anxiety and stress have won the day and crushed another soul. These people are not living the fulfilled life in Christ. Most don’t realize that in the beginning technology was created to save us time and to be more productive. However, what we as a people have gained in productivity, we have lost tenfold, by leading us into a life of captivity to our devices. From morning till night many are glued to their cellphones and computer screens, not just for work, but for all of life. Schedules, alarms, notifications, popups, email, and text messages, continually pull us in one direction then another. Then whatever free time we thought we had, is now gobbled up by the ever-growing social medial platforms, all competing for your time, your money, and your soul. Dear friends, this is not the life that we were created for. If you are interested in living the fulfilled life, then continue reading.

Once you have tasted the good life or the new life in Christ, then you will have no desire to return to your previous life. Jesus Christ said, “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy; I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly” (John 10:10). Dear children, I don’t need to convince you that the god of this world (Satan) is very busy destroying life by leading them into captivity. On the other hand, Jesus Christ came to bring us life beyond our wildest imagination. Once the shackles of slavery have been broken, then we will gloriously live life as God, our Creator, had intended. We will live a peaceful life allowing things to happen as God has ordained them from the dawn of creation. Anxious thoughts and unyielding stress will be put on notice that God’s beloved children will no longer abide by their demonic control. We will be free at last to serve our Creator in heavenly bliss, as time appears to stop. Hallelujah! Clearing your schedules and allowing God’s will to be done, will be the most earth-shattering thing you will ever do other than your original plea for Christ to come into your life and make you into a new creation (see II Corinthians 5:17).

We will need to completely rearrange our life and thoughts through discipline so that the God of peace can freely work in our lives so that we can live the fulfilled life. “Freely work” let that sink in! God cannot freely work if He doesn’t have complete control of our schedules and everything that we allow to pass through our minds. For most, they will need to pull back from their cellphones, and computers giving their time back to God. This is not just a designated amount of time that we set aside for God. We set aside the entire day. That is, every action and every thought are brought before the Lord before we act upon it or before we dwell upon the thought. This will take discipline, remembering to ask God for our daily marching orders. It will take discipline to always ask, “what would Jesus do,” before every action? We don’t hear much about discipline these days but it’s essential if we are serious about living the fulfilled life. Discipline is doing what is right through continuous practice, again and again. We will start with the least difficult discipline and then move to the more challenging. This Christian discipline opens the door to a blissful life in Christ beyond the comprehension of the natural man. It opens the door to a fulfilled life in Christ.

Let me introduce you, once again, to our God of all creation. Our God is not angry, nor is He vengeful. On the other hand, He is a God of peace, love, and joy. So, our first discipline for all of life is, “Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice” (Philippians 4:4). The operative word here is “always.” When we first receive Christ in our lives this is a very easy thing to do, “rejoice in the Lord.” However, in time as we run continuously into the hatefulness and depressing sadness of the world, it becomes more difficult. So, it must become a discipline of remembering all that God has done for us through His amazing providence, where He has, on a number of occasions, worked everything out for the best. It’s also remembering that God is our wonderful counselor and the worker of astonishing miracles snatching people from the fiery pits of hell, all of which bring great joy to our hearts. This great joy established in time is beyond anything we will ever experience. The early Christians were known as happy people who were always rejoicing in the Lord turning the world upside down. As you rejoice in the Lord, you too will witness its profound effect upon the world, causing them to ask, “Why are you so different.” The key to living the fulfilled life in Christ is having God always walking with us in our great joy openly and sincerely expressed to the world.

The second discipline that must be practiced every moment of every day, in every situation is, “Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand” (Philippians 4:5). As already stated, these get a bit more difficult as we proceed, but not impossible for God’s elect children. Our greatest motivator for remaining pure in an impure world is remembering that the “Lord is at hand.” This not only means that God can come back at any moment, which He can, but it also means that He is observing our every behavior, good or bad. The clear interpretation of this word “moderation” is that our behavior and character should be so solidified in Christ that nothing could sway us to participate in the world’s unruly or unethical behavior. It’s difficult to take one step into the world and not be tempted by those around you, either in person, in print, or on the cellphone. So, we must be constantly aware of this, so that we can immediately turn away, not gaze upon it, or participate in it. This is crucial if you are serious about having God walk with you every moment of every day, which is our true path to living a fulfilled life in Christ. The wonders that God wants to show you are well beyond what the world has to offer. There is nothing that can match the mystery of God’s beautiful creation and the re-created life of a sinner reflecting His wonderous glory. Living the fulfilled live is truly a foretaste of heaven on earth.

Are you ready for the third discipline? The English Standard Version of the Bible says, “do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God” (Philippians 4:6). This is a hard saying for those who are living their own lives according to their decisions, their schedules, and their planning. These people will always have anxiety and even stress because things simply aren’t working out as they had planned. The pressure to follow their desires, not accomplished, sends them straight to the counselor’s office or pleading with their doctors for more medication because they have discovered that stress can cause physical problems. By the time we get to the third discipline, we should already be practicing the first two, which opens our eyes to God’s beautiful providential plan for our lives. So, if we see things not working out, that’s creating anxiety, then we need to earnestly pray again asking for God’s perfect plan and His will in the specific circumstance that we are facing. When we pray in faith believing, the Bible says, “And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:7). We will never live the fulfilled life in Christ if we allow stress or anxiety to re-enter our lives taking us hostage to do the will of the enemy. So, dear children, follow onlyGod’s beautiful plans for your lives allowing Him to walk with you every moment of every day, then you will experience His magnificent peace that defies understanding.

The final discipline that allows us to experience the fulfilled life in Christ is to put a sentinel at the gate of our minds to examine every thought that seeks to enter. Yes, this is the most difficult but not impossible for God’s elect children. This can be especially difficult when we are out among the pagan but don’t be fooled, evil thoughts can come at any time, catching you completely off-guard. So, we must walk with God, every moment of every day. The Bible says, “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things” (Philippians 4:8). So, we must always cast our minds onto those things that please the Lord. It is helpful to always ask the question of every thought that wants to enter our mind, “Is this thought pleasing to the Lord?” And if the answer is no, then cast it out immediately; don’t dwell on it for even a millisecond. Cast it out!  When we follow these blessed disciplines, they will help us to walk closer to the Lord, Jesus Christ, which will lead us to experience the fulfilled life beyond our wildest dreams. All glory to God.

We Are Forward-Looking People (Video)

There is something uniquely different about God’s children. We rarely look back either to reminisce or painfully evaluate past failures. We are a forward-looking people, a true anomaly in the modern world. This is something fallen humanity would love to experience all the time. However, if they are honest, they spend a great deal of their time looking back. They look back not only to evaluate past failures or reminisce but to do something far more damaging. We Are Forward-Looking People

Their obsession of always looking back, further than current events, enters into a deep chasm of captivity. Clearly, this abyss of one’s personal journey is not the same thing as the concrete historical events etched into the annuals of a nation’s heritage. It is, on the other hand, a collection of beliefs about oneself that they have adopted over time, which they believe can never change. It is a collection of past events that they believe have had an incurable effect on their physical or psychological wellbeing. As we shall see, these people tend to get trapped in the past causing them unending turmoil, which adversely affects their lives.

Their continued obsession with the past, especially the hurts, real or unreal, magnifies their pain exponentially allowing new powerful emotions to arise. With no warning, these emotions can bring forth disturbing thoughts of hate, revenge, and harboring thoughts of un-forgiveness. As these thoughts are played out again and again it can open Pandora’s box of every psychological problem known to man, thoughts that can also lead to hurting others or even hurting oneself. This obsession of always looking back well beyond current events can lead fallen humanity to even find fault with a Nation’s heritage or its recorded history following the same path of hate, revenge, and un-forgiveness. This is especially true if they are obsessed with the pain, real or unreal, magnified by public opinion or a few bad actors in our day. Either way, the psychological pain is real, which is causing people to strike back at one another with a ferociousness not seen before. It’s causing an unimaginable chaos in the streets of the world as they seek to rewrite history as if that would even make a difference.

As a nation of people, we need to learn how to look forward and stop our obsession with the past. Unfortunately, our fallen nature makes this very difficult, if not impossible, for most. Fallen humanity’s obsession with the past is helped in no small measure by Social Media, News media, and public education. The Good News is we have been given a proven way out of this bondage. When we believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ, He will give us a clean slate. That is, every bad thought, every obsession, and every sin ever committed against a Holy God will be forgiven. The slate will be wiped clean by the precious blood of Jesus Christ who took our place on the Cross. All the sins of the whole world past, present, and future were placed upon Jesus, the Son of God who died in our place and then buried in a tomb. On the third day, Christ rose from the dead to give us a new life, a clean slate. The Bible says, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new” (II Corinthians 5:17).

We are forward-looking because we have a new life, with a clean slate. Sin no longer has power over us. Why look back on a sin that’s already forgiven? Why look back on an old life that is passing away and no longer has any power over us? Why look back on an old hurt that will no longer affect us? Why look back on an old psychological or emotional struggle that held us in its death grips for so long? No, the Bible says that old things pass away, that they no longer have any hold over us. Praise God! So, the key is, to look forward to our new life in Christ, then you will see the power given to you to shut the door to the old life. You will have power to say no to the old life with its many lies and beliefs that keep pulling you down to the cesspool experienced by fallen humanity, who struggle daily with their many emotional and psychological problems. Do you want that power to forget those past struggles and only look forward to your new life in Christ, then keep reading because it’s only God’s truth that will set you free?

The good news is that you will not need to do this alone. Jesus Christ promised to send us the Helper and that’s exactly what He will do. He will help you to put off the old life just like you would put off an old, soiled outfit. Step by step the indwelling Spirit will remind you not to look back or to dwell on a previous hurt by another person, an organization, or the government. He will teach you the power of forgiveness that will set you free from those who have wronged you or fed you lies for so many years. He will set you free from the many years of self-condemnation by learning how to forgive yourself. He will set you free from your past, believing that you can now become everything in Christ, with no limitations. The power of forgiveness will break the chains of slavery allowing you to always look forward, to be a forward-looking person. No longer being trapped in the past by learning how to forgive and forget is only the first step that must be taken concurrently with putting on the new life in Christ, by looking forward. We look forward to putting on our new life in Christ.

Now that we are free from our old life and no longer feel compelled to constantly look back at a life that no longer exists, then we want to fill up our life with the things of God. As we walk in each of His beautiful commandments, we begin to realize just how different they are from the fallen world. The Bible says, “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD” (Isiah 55:8). The more we put on our new life in Christ, the more we realize that there is a great struggle between the powers of darkness and the ways of God. Satan, our old adversary, seeks to control the entire human race by constantly filling their minds with the things of the world. He wants us so busy and our mind so occupied, that we have no time for God and our new life in Christ. We don’t have to look very far to see how he is doing this through the internet, social media, 24-hour news media, and entertainment on demand. When we come to Christ, then we no longer fill our minds with the things of the world, but with heavenly things so that we can participate in the divine nature (See II Peter 1:4).

Those who try to walk in the world and the Kingdom at the same time won’t need to worry much about the wiles of the devil. On the other hand, if you desire to only walk in the Kingdom then there will be an all-out war. The devil will bring to your memory, again and again, those who have wronged you. Satan is the author of every conspiracy theory having you chase one rabbit after another. He will do everything in his power to cause you to dream endlessly about a brighter future filled with riches, by utilizing the things of the world. Our spiritual weapons are mighty for pulling down strongholds, so let us cast down every vain imagination, every false teaching, every lewd entertainment, every social media post that doesn’t glorify God, and everything else that consumes our time to make us a pawn of the powers of darkness. Let us cast down everything that exalts itself against the knowledge of God. Then let us bring every thought from this point forward into the obedience of Christ (See II Corinthians 10:5). Let us think our thoughts after Christ as we press onto the goal – facing forward and never looking back. Let me leave you with the words of Jesus Christ. The Bible says, “And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God” (Luke 9:62).

Please join me in prayer …

Good morning Heavenly Father. Oh Lord, we need clarity of thought. We need to recall those Scripture texts that you want us to dwell upon, that would be useful in understanding the day in which we live. Help us, Oh Lord to ignore the distractions caused by others or by our occasional pains and keep our mind focused on you. We completely die to self and ask the indwelling Spirit to take full reign of our lives. We truly desire to become all that you want us to be in this life and in the life to come, in our Heavenly position with you for all eternity. We pray that you continue the transformation process by helping us to fully put off the old life and put on the new life in Christ. There is no greater joy than being filled with your Spirit and thinking your thoughts after you, to truly realize the blessings of what we were originally created to be, and to walk with our Creator. We pray that you help us to complete our tasks for today for which you have called us. We pray this in the glorious Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

Reading from the King James Version, the Bible says,

“Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ” (II Corinthians 10:5).

The Virus, Vaccine, and God’s Truth (Video)

What does God say? We have not done extensive research on the subject as scientists, doctors, and conspiracy theorists have done over this past year. On the other hand, we have turned to Almighty God, seeking His answers on this hotly debated subject. We come before God with a clean slate with no preconceptions and with no predetermined agenda. Our only interest is to receive the truth for God’s precious children and for the world at large if they are interested. After watching this very important video, please share it with others.
