You have read the Holy Scripture and heard the prophecies, which has cast most into denial or an elevated state of fear. Many of you have seen with your own eyes the increasing number of major earthquakes, catastrophic storms, seemingly endless heatwaves, and forest fires engulfing an entire continent. At times it seems like the world is coming apart with one disaster after another. Many of you have adopted your favorite prophecy, which attempts to give meaning to what’s currently happening in the world and what’s on the horizon. Some have believed that before things get too bad, they will be whisked away in a secret rapture, while others believe that they must endure the Great Tribulation to strengthen their faith and mold them into all godliness. Unfortunately, some believe that they can bring the Kingdom in by force through the political process and the institution of new laws. Their prophecy is summed up in bringing in the Christian Kingdom by force forcing everyone to obey. Contrary to what you believe, the truth is we are all going to die.
