Bad things happen because of the rebellion against a Holy God. The rebellion is alive and well reaching to the depths of the human heart. Every area of society including the church has been sorely affected by this rebellion. This rebellion is as old as the fall of humanity that was seduced by the devil and the powers of darkness. It was a dark day indeed that inevitably tarnished God’s beautiful creation. The heart of mankind has not been the same since and never will be apart from the recreative act of a merciful and loving God. The Bible says, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new” (2 Corinthians 5:17). This is good news for those who have been truly transformed in Christ. On the other hand, the remainder of humanity will continue to go from bad to worse experiencing the trauma of being cut off from a loving God and being controlled by the powers of darkness. The depth of this control will be examined to demonstrate how aggressively the chains of bondage have increased blinding almost all of humanity. We Are Forward-Looking People (Video)
There is something uniquely different about God’s children. We rarely look back either to reminisce or painfully evaluate past failures. We are a forward-looking people, a true anomaly in the modern world. This is something fallen humanity would love to experience all the time. However, if they are honest, they spend a great deal of their time looking back. They look back not only to evaluate past failures or reminisce but to do something far more damaging. We Are Forward-Looking People
There is something uniquely different about God’s children. We rarely look back either to reminisce or painfully evaluate past failures. We are a forward-looking people, a true anomaly in the modern world. This is something fallen humanity would love to experience all the time. However, if they are honest, they spend a great deal of their time looking back. They look back not only to evaluate past failures or reminisce but to do something far more damaging. Their obsession of always looking back, further than current events, enters into a deep chasm of captivity. Clearly, this abyss of one’s personal journey is not the same thing as the concrete historical events etched into the annuals of a nation’s heritage. It is, on the other hand, a collection of beliefs about oneself that they have adopted over time, which they believe can never change. It is a collection of past events that they believe have had an incurable effect on their physical or psychological wellbeing. The Amazing Truth of What We Were Originally Created to Be (Video)
I firmly believe that we would need to be blind if we haven’t seen the great trouble humanity and the world is experiencing. We appear to be on the brink of imploding. That is, like the ancient Roman Empire, we will not be destroyed from the great forces from outside, but from within. The trajectory of humanity and the world will end in death and destruction, if we don’t return to what we were originally created to be. We need to return to the beginning to understand, the amazing truth of what we were originally created to be. The Amazing Truth of What We Were Originally Created to Be
I firmly believe that we would need to be blind if we haven’t seen the great trouble humanity and the world is experiencing. We appear to be on the brink of imploding. That is, like the ancient Roman Empire, we will not be destroyed from the great forces from outside, but from within. The trajectory of humanity and the world will end in death and destruction, if we don’t return to what we were originally created to be. We need to return to the beginning to understand, the amazing truth of what we were originally created to be. To the very beginning when humanity was created by God in His image, in the image of Him He created them (See Genesis 1:27). No one can really say how long our first parents, Adam and Eve, were in the Garden of Eden or even how many others were there with them. But one thing we know for sure that those who were created had a personal and dynamic relationship with God. For He walked with them in the Garden in the cool of the day (See Genesis 3:8). God spoke to them in an audible voice giving them instructions and seeing to their every need. There was great freedom with only one known restriction. There was nothing to harm them.
