Why Do I Still Believe in a World of Unbelief? (Video)

Why do I still believe in Jesus Christ in a world of growing unbelief? The short answer is, I would be horrified to face another day without Christ in my life. Although we are in the world and feel all the negative influences from the world, they are only momentary distractions having no lasting effect. We feel exactly what the world feels but it has no hold on us. Please read this very personal blog article culminating in 23 years of online ministry after serving previously as a pastor for many years. Why Do I Still Believe in a World of Unbelief?

Why do I still believe in Jesus Christ in a world of growing unbelief? The short answer is, I would be horrified to face another day without Christ in my life. Although we are in the world and feel all the negative influences from the world, they are only momentary distractions having no lasting effect. We feel exactly what the world feels but it has no hold on us. We too are confronted with the same drama and the unbelievable pressure from the agents of Satan to follow them in their hypocrisy. If we allow ourselves to be carried away for only a millisecond we can, and will, experience what the unbelieving world does every day. Unbeknownst to them, they are being swayed constantly by the powers of darkness to accept the many outrageous lies as the truth. They are led to believe the most astonishing things about themselves. They readily accept the bondage of their past life creating great pain and psychological trauma. They are so easily enticed to follow their every desire creating consequences beyond their worst nightmare. There is no control as they unknowingly follow the world down the same dark path of horrors untold. All this causes us, as true believers, to hold on to Christ even more tightly. We realize that Jesus Christ is our true Anchor keeping us from following the world in their unbelief. We have no desire to experience their road of horrors.

The saying is true, “we are in the world but not of the world” (taken from the words of our Lord in John’s Gospel 17:14-16). This is a great joy for us to be in the world but not of the world, but it is a deep sadness for those who have not learned its truth. So, exactly what does it mean, to not be of this world? Jesus Christ was born as a man, in the flesh, but said emphatically, “I am not of this world.” Furthermore, as believers, we are also no longer of this world.” The Bible says, “If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you” (John 15:19). Wow! “Because ye are not of the world.” Let that sink in. We are no longer of the world because we have been, “chosen out of the world.” This is great news! If we are not of the world then the world no longer has any power over us. Everything they say about themselves has nothing to do with us. Their great men and scholars have written volumes about how mankind should act and behave. They have spent countless hours indoctrinating mankind, from the cradle to the grave, concerning the sciences, behavior sciences, and the psychology of man which is fine if you are of this world. On the other hand, we as the children of God are no longer of this world. Therefore, it would be foolish to follow their teachings that are no longer relevant and that change like the wind.

Unfortunately, the world is tightening its noose around the neck of those in the world by moving their indoctrination from just the schoolroom to also include the entertainment industry, the news media, and particularly all the social media platforms. Make no mistake, every teaching, every movie, every news story, and nearly every post or image on YouTube or social media is a lie fabricated by the powers of darkness to keep you in the world. Satan is thrilled that this has caused a tsunami of unbelief that has flooded the entire world. This has even overtaken many who claim to be Christians dragging them back into the world of unbelief and back onto the road of horrors. Dear children, we are not of this world. So, it’s absolutely essential to come out and be separate. The Bible says, “Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you” (II Corinthians 6:17). Some time ago this statement, “not to touch the unclean thing” was a wake-up call for me. Even today I must continue to remind myself of the extreme danger of just gazing momentarily upon an image that can awaken the sexual desires or leading one down a path of perversion. The writings of a post or meme may seem harmless, but can plant thoughts that pervert the truth, weakening your faith sending you downward into a cesspool of idolatry. Therefore, it’s essential to come out from among them so that we don’t unknowingly follow the crowd to eternal damnation.

I am deeply saddened that many well-meaning Christians are used by the powers of darkness to capture the hearts and minds of others. I have seen this in both men and women posting images to present themselves sensually to attract others while intentionally or unintentionally arousing their lustful desires.  Don’t touch the unclean thing! The powers of darkness also use well-meaning Christians to spread their lies and weaken the faith of others, so they too will join the growing crowd of unbelievers. Remember that Satan is very deceptive. The entire meaning of a message or post can be changed by a single word, making it difficult for most to identify the deception, causing them to believe the lie and weaken their faith. Quoting Scripture out of context appears to be Satan’s favorite trick, seen clearly in his quoting Scripture to Christ during His temptation (See Luke 4:1-13). These out-of-context Scriptures are shared widely on social media and YouTube by well-meaning Christians, which leads others to reject the truth and embrace the lie. Perhaps the most alarming to me is to see well-meaning Christians share sayings (or quotes) from other world religions and the accepted psychobabble from the world. It deeply saddens me that Christians are being used by the powers of darkness to spread deception in the last days causing their brothers and sisters to stumble. Don’t touch the unclean thing!

Dear children, our Citizenship is in heaven. We are not of this world. It is past time to come out from among them. When we truly come out from among them, their schools of indoctrination, their movies, their news media, and all their social media platforms, then you will discover how much easier it is to be a Christian. You will realize how much easier it is to grow up in Christ, becoming all that Christ wants you to become in Christ. You will soon discover the blessings of fellowship with other true believers who have also come out from among them. In a very short time, you will witness the joy of serving others that you can reach out and touch. In time you will witness the great power of everyone using their unique Spiritual gifts for the common good of the brotherhood. Finally, you will rejoice knowing that together you have become stronger to face all that’s coming upon the world. Of course, Satan and the powers of darkness don’t want you to know this. This is not a new truth, it’s an old truth. Jesus Christ said, “And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it” (Matthew 16:18). As we grow up in Christ using our Spiritual gifts to strengthen the Church and its unpolluted witness to the world, we will understand why we were told to come out from among them; not to share their thoughts and ideas but to only share the true witness of Christ in the face of the devil.

I will set an example for all my brothers and sisters in Christ by making this the last article and forthcoming video to be shared on social media. For the powers of darkness have already seduced the church to have their services and prayers on their platforms to be torn apart, manipulated, and ridiculed by others. I will continue to write and produce videos, but they will only be available on my website to be shared freely among all. I will continue to pray that my writings, videos, and daily prayers will drive you to the foot of the Cross to renew your commitment to Him alone in a hostile world bent on your demise. Share my website with your church, your family, and your friends. Your children can show you how to access my website directly without going through Facebook; they will type in your internet search browser: https://www.danielsblog.org

My final thoughts, from the Lord, for my dear friends is that we cannot, we must not relax who we are in Christ with our pagan workmates and especially our family. The Bible says, “He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me” (Matthew 10:37-38). As we follow Christ together in the Spirit, I would love to hear from you often by utilizing the “Keep in Touch” form at the end of every article, video, and prayer. As the days grow more difficult it will be essential to be with other like-minded believers, who will physically stand with you to weather the coming storm. Dear friends, if you ever come close to Round Rock, Texas, let us fellowship and worship our Savior, Jesus Christ, together. Stand firm.

Are You Living the Fulfilled Life? (Video)

Unfortunately, most who call upon the Name of Jesus Christ are not living the fulfilled life. Most are controlled by their schedules, rushing from one event to another with little time to relax in between. Worry, anxiety, and stress have become so commonplace, that many don’t realize how much it is affecting their physical and mental health. They don’t realize that when people blow up in public that they have reached their breaking point. When this happens, they don’t understand that anxiety and stress have won the day and crushed another soul. These people are not living the fulfilled life in Christ. Are You Living the Fulfilled Life?

Unfortunately, most who call upon the Name of Jesus Christ are not living the fulfilled life. Most are controlled by their schedules, rushing from one event to another with little time to relax in between. Worry, anxiety, and stress have become so commonplace, that many don’t realize how much it is affecting their physical and mental health. They don’t realize that when people blow up in public that they have reached their breaking point. When this happens, they don’t understand that anxiety and stress have won the day and crushed another soul. These people are not living the fulfilled life in Christ. Most don’t realize that in the beginning technology was created to save us time and to be more productive. However, what we as a people have gained in productivity, we have lost tenfold, by leading us into a life of captivity to our devices. From morning till night many are glued to their cellphones and computer screens, not just for work, but for all of life. Schedules, alarms, notifications, popups, email, and text messages, continually pull us in one direction then another. Then whatever free time we thought we had, is now gobbled up by the ever-growing social medial platforms, all competing for your time, your money, and your soul. Dear friends, this is not the life that we were created for. If you are interested in living the fulfilled life, then continue reading.

Once you have tasted the good life or the new life in Christ, then you will have no desire to return to your previous life. Jesus Christ said, “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy; I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly” (John 10:10). Dear children, I don’t need to convince you that the god of this world (Satan) is very busy destroying life by leading them into captivity. On the other hand, Jesus Christ came to bring us life beyond our wildest imagination. Once the shackles of slavery have been broken, then we will gloriously live life as God, our Creator, had intended. We will live a peaceful life allowing things to happen as God has ordained them from the dawn of creation. Anxious thoughts and unyielding stress will be put on notice that God’s beloved children will no longer abide by their demonic control. We will be free at last to serve our Creator in heavenly bliss, as time appears to stop. Hallelujah! Clearing your schedules and allowing God’s will to be done, will be the most earth-shattering thing you will ever do other than your original plea for Christ to come into your life and make you into a new creation (see II Corinthians 5:17).

We will need to completely rearrange our life and thoughts through discipline so that the God of peace can freely work in our lives so that we can live the fulfilled life. “Freely work” let that sink in! God cannot freely work if He doesn’t have complete control of our schedules and everything that we allow to pass through our minds. For most, they will need to pull back from their cellphones, and computers giving their time back to God. This is not just a designated amount of time that we set aside for God. We set aside the entire day. That is, every action and every thought are brought before the Lord before we act upon it or before we dwell upon the thought. This will take discipline, remembering to ask God for our daily marching orders. It will take discipline to always ask, “what would Jesus do,” before every action? We don’t hear much about discipline these days but it’s essential if we are serious about living the fulfilled life. Discipline is doing what is right through continuous practice, again and again. We will start with the least difficult discipline and then move to the more challenging. This Christian discipline opens the door to a blissful life in Christ beyond the comprehension of the natural man. It opens the door to a fulfilled life in Christ.

Let me introduce you, once again, to our God of all creation. Our God is not angry, nor is He vengeful. On the other hand, He is a God of peace, love, and joy. So, our first discipline for all of life is, “Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice” (Philippians 4:4). The operative word here is “always.” When we first receive Christ in our lives this is a very easy thing to do, “rejoice in the Lord.” However, in time as we run continuously into the hatefulness and depressing sadness of the world, it becomes more difficult. So, it must become a discipline of remembering all that God has done for us through His amazing providence, where He has, on a number of occasions, worked everything out for the best. It’s also remembering that God is our wonderful counselor and the worker of astonishing miracles snatching people from the fiery pits of hell, all of which bring great joy to our hearts. This great joy established in time is beyond anything we will ever experience. The early Christians were known as happy people who were always rejoicing in the Lord turning the world upside down. As you rejoice in the Lord, you too will witness its profound effect upon the world, causing them to ask, “Why are you so different.” The key to living the fulfilled life in Christ is having God always walking with us in our great joy openly and sincerely expressed to the world.

The second discipline that must be practiced every moment of every day, in every situation is, “Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand” (Philippians 4:5). As already stated, these get a bit more difficult as we proceed, but not impossible for God’s elect children. Our greatest motivator for remaining pure in an impure world is remembering that the “Lord is at hand.” This not only means that God can come back at any moment, which He can, but it also means that He is observing our every behavior, good or bad. The clear interpretation of this word “moderation” is that our behavior and character should be so solidified in Christ that nothing could sway us to participate in the world’s unruly or unethical behavior. It’s difficult to take one step into the world and not be tempted by those around you, either in person, in print, or on the cellphone. So, we must be constantly aware of this, so that we can immediately turn away, not gaze upon it, or participate in it. This is crucial if you are serious about having God walk with you every moment of every day, which is our true path to living a fulfilled life in Christ. The wonders that God wants to show you are well beyond what the world has to offer. There is nothing that can match the mystery of God’s beautiful creation and the re-created life of a sinner reflecting His wonderous glory. Living the fulfilled live is truly a foretaste of heaven on earth.

Are you ready for the third discipline? The English Standard Version of the Bible says, “do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God” (Philippians 4:6). This is a hard saying for those who are living their own lives according to their decisions, their schedules, and their planning. These people will always have anxiety and even stress because things simply aren’t working out as they had planned. The pressure to follow their desires, not accomplished, sends them straight to the counselor’s office or pleading with their doctors for more medication because they have discovered that stress can cause physical problems. By the time we get to the third discipline, we should already be practicing the first two, which opens our eyes to God’s beautiful providential plan for our lives. So, if we see things not working out, that’s creating anxiety, then we need to earnestly pray again asking for God’s perfect plan and His will in the specific circumstance that we are facing. When we pray in faith believing, the Bible says, “And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:7). We will never live the fulfilled life in Christ if we allow stress or anxiety to re-enter our lives taking us hostage to do the will of the enemy. So, dear children, follow onlyGod’s beautiful plans for your lives allowing Him to walk with you every moment of every day, then you will experience His magnificent peace that defies understanding.

The final discipline that allows us to experience the fulfilled life in Christ is to put a sentinel at the gate of our minds to examine every thought that seeks to enter. Yes, this is the most difficult but not impossible for God’s elect children. This can be especially difficult when we are out among the pagan but don’t be fooled, evil thoughts can come at any time, catching you completely off-guard. So, we must walk with God, every moment of every day. The Bible says, “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things” (Philippians 4:8). So, we must always cast our minds onto those things that please the Lord. It is helpful to always ask the question of every thought that wants to enter our mind, “Is this thought pleasing to the Lord?” And if the answer is no, then cast it out immediately; don’t dwell on it for even a millisecond. Cast it out!  When we follow these blessed disciplines, they will help us to walk closer to the Lord, Jesus Christ, which will lead us to experience the fulfilled life beyond our wildest dreams. All glory to God.

We Are Forward-Looking People (Video)

There is something uniquely different about God’s children. We rarely look back either to reminisce or painfully evaluate past failures. We are a forward-looking people, a true anomaly in the modern world. This is something fallen humanity would love to experience all the time. However, if they are honest, they spend a great deal of their time looking back. They look back not only to evaluate past failures or reminisce but to do something far more damaging.
