The Hope of Our Coming Victory

After my precious article that brought a river of tears to our eyes, I am overjoyed to write this current article that looks beyond the pain and the suffering to a time of fulfilled hope and a glorious victory. Hope is one of the cardinal virtues along with faith and love that are both the solid anchor of our Christianity and the outward expression of who we are in Christ. Hope looks beyond our current suffering to a time when we will be delivered from the fire that has gloriously made us into the perfect image of Jesus Christ. What we have waiting for us far outweighs everything that we can possibly imagine, a million times better than our present reality. Hope beyond our present reality doesn’t diminish our sense of freedom as taught by the powers of darkness but it opens vistas not yet discovered. True freedom is beyond the confines of this earthly body with all its limitations caused by the original sin. Our hope not only longs for a new heavens and a new earth, but it longs for a new body designed to last for all eternity. Our new bodies will not be burdened with the aches and pains that increase exponentially as we age. Nor will it be destroyed by horrific diseases infecting the planet. Moreover, we will no longer struggle against the unrelenting evil thoughts engineered by the powers of darkness. This is our future hope.

To rediscover our hope now will help us to stand firm as the world seeks our annihilation. If our hope is only in changing the world by accepting and integrating the evil ways of the world, then we are destined to fail. On the other hand, if our hope is ushering in the Kingdom of God and leading humanity to follow His will in earth as it is in heaven, then we could witness a glorious victory. Unfortunately, we are living in the midst of the great falling away when believers will voice the Lord’s Prayer but will not work to that end believing that they have power to change lives through Christ. Why do believers pray for something that they don’t believe in or something they believe will never happen? I hope you can see how hope and faith are so intrinsically tied together. We can’t have one without the other. As believers, we work for both the present and for the eternity. We have faith and hope in both realities. We cannot sacrifice one for the other. The Bible says, “If in Christ we have hope in this life only, we are of all people most to be pitied” (I Corinthians 15:19). If we have a living hope it will bring us victoriously through this life and the next for all eternity. It is exceedingly important that we also have a living hope for our current reality and our future reality.

What do you hope for now and what do you hope for in your future reality? They should be the same. A living hope believes that God can make all things new, which is only possible if we stop allowing Satan to lead us around by the nose. Yes, dear children, Satan is leading all of humanity around by the nose. If you think about it, you know he is. From entertainment to higher levels of liberal learning, we are led around by the nose. From social media to the news media and from politics to scientific discoveries, we are being led around by the nose as our current reality sinks ever deeper into the pit of the unknown abyss of demonic control. Only the true believers of the faithful remnant have learned the secret of how to become completely separate from the abyss of demonic control that is robbing humanity of any present or future hope in Christ. Simply put, to restore our living hope is to come out from among them submitting ourselves completely to the risen Lord (Revelation 18:4-5). Only Christ can restore our living hope bringing forth an unimaginable joy in the midst of our darkest hour. Only Jesus Christ can destroy the hold that the powers of darkness have on humanity.

The living hope is not tied to the present reality of clocks and timepieces. The living hope sets us free in this present reality by allowing God through the indwelling Spirit to set our agenda every moment of every day to become all that we were created to be in Christ Jesus. Free at last! Free at last from the dominion of the devil and his ruthless powers of darkness. It won’t take long before we realize that everything has a purpose. We have our eyes opened to God’s loving providence in action working all things together for the good (Romans 8:28). God’s timing is impeccable doing and accomplishing things when we least expect it. God supersedes everything in the present reality bringing forth His will in a very powerful way even when we feel that He has lost the day or that we have been defeated by the powers of darkness. Faith gives us a new meaning to our living hope. Faith opens a whole new dimension allowing us to witness one amazing miracle after another. The Bible says, “For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly” (Psalm 84:11). Your unbelief or faithlessness will destroy your hope of changing this reality and ushering us into the next. We have hope for our coming victory in this reality and the next through Jesus Christ our Lord.

If we just hope in the afterlife and have no hope for our present reality, then we also should be most pitted. Don’t let this evil world rob you of that hope. When we come out from among them and join others who have done the same, then we will be strengthened in the inner man. Our power will greatly increase through our connection with the risen Lord and with one another. Our living hope will see the possibilities of creating a community that is no longer controlled by the powers of darkness. The Bible says, “Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost” (Romans 15:13). Let us be assured that this power only comes through the Holy Spirit and not through the political process. Politics will never establish God’s will in this present reality. Politics has been the design of the devil from the beginning teaching people that they can have power and control over others. Politics is not the true source of power. Our power as believers is to be in the center of God’s will allowing Him to control our actions, never for personal gain as seen in most politicians. Let us come out from among them and receive the power of God to change our current reality. Let us pray, believing, “Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven” (Matthew 6:10).

Finally, we are living in a world where many have lost their hope in our current reality. I know that many of you feel defeated by what you see in the world today. Many of you have placed your trust in the political process and have been greatly disappointed. Many of you have put your trust in the secret rapture to deliver you before things get too bad. You have lost your hope in the present reality to really change, especially when we see that most of our children and grandchildren no longer follow Christ exclusively allowing Him to transform them. Dear children, we must restore our living hope, not in humanity, but in Jesus Christ who is the same yesterday, today, and forever. The message of the Cross is still powerful, and the Spirit still has the same power to transform people through faith in Christ. Please don’t lose hope but step out in faith trusting Christ alone every minute of every day. Believe me, the more you come out of the world, the better you will feel. The more you trust in God alone, the more you will experience His great power working through you. Remember, God’s methodology has not changed since the beginning. God still changes one person at a time making them into a new creation through faith. This is our living hope that is actualized by coming out from among them to experience true change, so radical it cannot be comprehended by the unspiritual mind. It is never too late to have this kind of living hope even as the world is falling apart around us. This living hope envisions the victory as they witness God’s power working through the Holy Spirit.

What is God’s Purpose for Your Life?

We are living in a chaotic world where people and institutions appear to have gone stark raving mad. Most people are saying and doing the unthinkable. On the present trajectory one wonders if the world will survive. Sadly most Christians are caught up in this madness going from bad to worse. Has the world lost its mind as we are being plunged into insanity and the coming apocalypse? This is a question that should haunt all of us. Although we have not yet seen the walking dead, we are seeing more of the population suffering from an increasing number of mental disorders that are causing absolute pandemonium and unbelievable lawlessness. Even our government cannot function because of the anarchy and hateful divisions. None of this appears to be God’s purpose for our lives. The whole world has drifted back into darkness believing that humanity can solve all of its mounting problems. Unfortunately, they can’t. With the coming increase in global suffering, it will only harden the hearts of humanity. Most will blame God and seek to eliminate his followers. As evil and darkness invades our world, God still has the same purpose for humanity. Simply put God’s purpose for our life is transformation, so, that we can become all that God created us to be.

Transformation is the only thing that will overcome the darkness and allow His marvelous light to shine in our hearts. This goes much deeper than just changing minds. It changes our attitudes, character, personality, and emotions to the very depths of our hearts. In essence, we are made into a new creation motivated by a self-giving agape love. The Bible says, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new” (II Corinthians 5:17). This is a marvelous transformation that allows us to see everything in a different light. The transformed person looks beyond the color, race, nationality, and outward appearance of others to see only the unspoken needs often hidden in their hearts. The transformed person is quick to forgive and follows all the rules of non-retaliation. The transformed person rejoices always and is thankful in all things. The transformed person has a deep abiding love for God, always quick to follow His lead in all humility trusting in God exclusively. The transformed person is always growing Spiritually from one degree of glory to another and is eager to use his Spiritual gifts for the common good. The transformed person is patient in affliction and rejoicing that he is counted worthy to suffer for the name of Jesus Christ. Transformation completely changes everything to the glory of God.

Transformation on your own is an impossible thing to do allowing the world to slip even deeper into darkness. Many have tried and have failed miserably. They have read and memorized their Bible attempting to follow every command. They have attended their church meetings and associated with other like-minded believers. In all that they have tried transformation seems like an impossible thing to accomplish. So, most have grown comfortable in the lukewarm church and sharing Scripture or prayer requests on social media platforms. Not only are they failing at transformation in Christ, but many are growing angry and bitter with the increasing trials and tribulations in the world. Many have felt the brunt of changing weather patterns, from the increasing heat index to the violent storms, and from rising floods to ravaging forest fires. It’s also taking a toll on God’s children. The list could go on to include earthquakes, tornadoes, uncontrolled lawlessness, and a falling economy. These trials and tribulations have caused many to curse the name of God and strike back at others with a vengeance. Instead of transformation trials and tribulations are driving people further into darkness and despair. We must turn to God trusting in Him alone to transform our lives in Christ.

The Bible says, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28). “All things work together for good.” Yes, God will use all things to fulfill His purpose, which includes every trial and tribulation to strengthen our faith in God to bring us through whatever it is we are going through. Trusting in God’s loving providence is essential in the transformation process. We can take a valuable lesson from the initial call of the Apostle Paul. Listen to what Christ says in the Bible. “And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks” (Acts 9:5). The Lord used an old saying, very familiar for those living in that day. It was hard for the Ox to “kick against the pricks” used to keep him in line, especially needed for a stubborn and unyielding animal. In time, the Apostle Paul discovered the amazing benefit of his many times of suffering for the cause of Christ, which kept him in line with God’s will and purpose for his life. We cannot kick against the pricks. We cannot fight against the trials but use them for our benefit by allowing them to transform our lives.

The Bible says, “Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. (James 1:2-3 ESV). Yes, it is a great source of joy knowing that the trial will teach us a valuable lesson, usually discovered at the end of the trial if we remain faithful. I know from many years of experience that it’s not always easy to immediately understand why we must go through a time of great suffering. Yet, we must allow the trial to teach us what must be given up or what must be embraced to continue the process of our transformation in Christ. Furthermore, I have often felt comfort knowing that we will never be tested beyond what we can handle (I Corinthians 10:13). The Bible also tells us, “For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth (Hebrews 12:6). Of course, not every trial or time of suffering is chastisement from the Lord. God will give us the wisdom to know if we ask in faith believing. The point is God uses “all things” to help His called children to be transformed in Christ. This is God’s purpose for our lives. Without transformation, the darkness will remain and only get worse. That’s exactly what we see happening in the world today that’s on the verge of self-annihilation. Let us use every trial, including the persecution, to continue our transformation in Christ.

Finally, only true transformation in Christ can produce self-giving agape love. To use another old saying, “Love makes the world go round.” Without true love hate, lawlessness, and wars will continue ravaging the world where it will be destroyed and no longer go around. It’s time for Christians to take a stand, by demonstrating true love to God and one another. It’s time for forgiveness to overcome hatred, anger, and bitterness. It’s time to negotiate with your enemies looking to celebrate a new day of peace and prosperity. Stop being so stubborn and unyielding. Seek peace through love. I call on all of God’s children to start the transformation process today by allowing God to use all things to bring us into alignment with His will. When we do then we will rejoice with every little miracle as we witness God working all things together for good. We will rejoice that we have been found worthy to suffer for the name of Christ. We will rejoice when we see the world with new eyes beyond all the bondages and captivity caused by the powers of darkness. We also see that love truly binds all things together and at the same time overcomes everything with the bright light of God’s glory. Our transformation in Christ will, with the light of God’s glory, overcome the darkness. What a glorious day that will be! Dear children, transformation is God’s purpose for our lives. Are you going to allow God to transform your life in Christ Jesus? I pray that you will.

Please Join me in Prayer

Good morning Heavenly Father. Oh Lord, we cry out to you asking that you keep us holy and blameless in a world that’s growing increasingly evil every day. Most people have not recognized their own evil and unrighteousness. They believe that they are prepared and ready for your coming. They boast that they are ready but still put their trust in man and his unholy works to solve their emotional and psychological problems. Woe, to those who no longer put their trust in you in the midst of this epidemic of mental illness. They still attempt to walk in the kingdom and in the world at the same time. They have not been sanctified nor are they being transformed by putting off the old life and putting on the new life in Christ. We pray that everyone who calls upon your Name will put all of their trust in you alone to prepare them for your magnificent coming. We profess publicly that you who have called us out of darkness to the light is faithful to do all that you have promised. You will surely do it. You will use “all things” to transform us into a new creation. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“He who calls you is faithful; he will surely do it” (I Thessalonians 5:24).

Only Truth Will Set Us Free

“The truth will set you free,” has rung through all the hallowed halls of humanity since these words were first uttered two millennia ago by the Son of God. As the world goes deeper and deeper into bondage, they still don’t understand the meaning of these amazingly powerful words. Consequently, the world is still being held captive by the powers of darkness, which has created enslavement to every emotional and psychological problem known to mankind. Hate and hostility are literally ripping them apart as the whole world is racing toward Armageddon. The prophets of old spoke about a time in the future when the spirit of Antichrist would arise as the man of lawlessness in an age of unchecked anarchy and unfettered lawlessness. Well, the time is now, and the great nations of the earth have sunk deeper into bondage legalizing every abominable transgression against God’s holy law. It’s most difficult to just read the headlines in the daily news media where nearly every story has humanity fighting against one another with slanderous words, unbelievable accusations, and unfiltered propaganda or some new conspiracy theory. There is not a day that goes by where people are savagely killed, wounded, or even tortured beyond belief. Listen, and you can hear their voices crying out in agony with no known escape from their horrific captivity. Continue reading Only Truth Will Set Us Free

To the Christians Living in America

This may be my last article. “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith” (II Timothy 4:7). It has been a beautiful journey watching Christ make me into a new creation one step at a time (II Corinthians 5:17). I would not trade this life for anything in the world. God is good all the time. I look forward to a new heaven and a new earth where I will be completely free from the old sin nature. I look forward to a time when Satan and the powers of darkness will no longer attack God’s precious children. I look forward to seeing all of my friends and family who have walked the path of righteousness and have followed Christ every moment of every day. What a glorious day that will be for all eternity. Prepare For The Journey

Every true believer in Christ should prepare for the journey beyond this life, even when we don’t know when it will be. We all know that the journey must come, either at our death or at the coming of the Lord. We also know, if we are honest, it can come at any time, in the twinkling of an eye. We will all make the journey. We will all go to a place to be judged in God’s predetermined time, but only God’s elect children will continue making their journey to the gates of heaven. Only the ones who have been chosen since the foundations of the world will be welcomed into paradise (Ephesians 1:4). Make no mistake, only God’s chosen children will have a deep indescribable desire to prepare for the journey. It is our responsibility to help God’s children to prepare now. We should not take this responsibility lightly. Let us all roll up our sleeves and get to work. If you throw this article down and have no interest in preparing for the journey, then you will be most pitted amongst God’s creation and you will have a most difficult time proving your election. So, please let me encourage you to read this entire article very carefully with much prayer and meditation. Your time is coming much sooner than you think. Continue reading Prepare For The Journey
