As we approach closer to the end, almost everyone is looking at the evil around them. Very few, unfortunately, look at the evil within themselves. There is no better time than the present to examine the evil lurking in each of us. Remember, that each of us will be judged by a most Holy and righteous God. I must say in the beginning this will not be a popular topic, for looking within can be the most humbling and humiliating experience of our lives. However, it is much better to do it now, rather than being totally exposed and humiliated at the throne of the Almighty. Now, you will have an opportunity to change. When the last trumpet is sounded or if you experience an untimely death, then it will be too late. So, if you are willing to take this journey from within let us proceed. The Holy Spirit will be our guide. He will take you to places that you could never have imagined. Hopefully, it will cause you to have many hours of self-reflection. My hope and prayers are that all who claim to be Christians will take this journey allowing the indwelling Spirit to bring deep conviction to their souls. Let’s begin. The Sins of the Mind
As God’s children, we must recognize the sins of the mind, so we can overcome them. Most every true believer in Christ recognizes the outward sins of what we do and what we say. However, very few recognize the sins of the mind, which encompasses every thought and every imagination. Yes, we will be held accountable for every unrighteous thought and every vain imagination not dealt with properly. Simply put, they must be cast out of our minds immediately, less than a nanosecond. This will take a lot of hard work observing every thought or imagination, deciding instantly if it’s evil, then successfully casting it out, if necessary, again and again. The good news is that we can trust in God’s grace to be with us every step of the way, ready to forgive every trespass after we have cried out to Him in true repentance. The Bible makes it abundantly clear that every unrighteous thought and vain imagination can be seen as committing the trespass in our hearts. Simply put, inwardly thinking about committing the trespass or allowing your mind to be carried away with the vain imagination is the same as doing it, actually committing the trespass. Are You Fit for the Kingdom? (Video)
Jesus Christ stated that some people simply aren’t fit for the Kingdom. What? Yes, that’s correct! Until they change their way of thinking, they are not fit for the kingdom. This has proven to be a huge problem in today’s world. Many have come into the church without changing their way of thinking. They have come into the church and have expected, no demanded, that the church change its way of thinking to fit their interests and desires.
