Learn the Path to Perfection in A World Full of Hate (Video)

So, how can we, “Learn the path to perfection in a world full of hate.” I believe there is a great desire to be perfect. We have always wanted the perfect haircut, the perfect set of clothes or the perfect marriage. It is in our human nature to want perfection. Yet, it’s a proven fact that very few find it and now we live in a day where most no longer desire it. Many, on the other hand, desires selfish power and control over others which has turned them into very hateful people. In a world full of bullies, antagonists and mean-spirited people there is no wonder that the world is so divided. Stay tuned for three amazing vocalists putting feet to our message. After watching the video please share with others.

Learn the Path to Perfection in A World Full of Hate

So, how can we, “Learn the path to perfection in a world full of hate.” I believe there is a great desire to be perfect. We have always wanted the perfect haircut, the perfect set of clothes or the perfect marriage. It is in our human nature to want perfection. Yet, it’s a proven fact that very few find it and now we live in a day where most no longer desire it. Many, on the other hand, desires selfish power and control over others which has turned them into very hateful people. In a world full of bullies, antagonists and mean-spirited people there is no wonder that the world is so divided. Where they tend to hang out with their own kind developing groups of like-minded people, sharing the same philosophy of life, the same political persuasion, the same goals and aspirations and the same moral compass. These divisions have caused a great deal of malicious attacks one against another. It’s difficult to scan the news headlines without seeing this vicious attack coming from once reputable organizations. Unfortunately, this will continue until we as a people desire once again to find the path to perfection.

They say that the easiest thing to do is to love those who love you. To honor and respect those who honor and respect you. The Bible says, “For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? Do not even the publicans the same? And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? Do not even the publicans so” (Matthew 5:46-47). Jesus Christ pointed these divisions out among the people two thousand years ago and the divisions persist until this day. It’s what He says next that points us to the path that leads to perfection. Jesus said, “Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect” (Matthew 5:48). So, to be perfect is to look beyond our differences, to look beyond the rough exterior of another person and learn to look at their heart. This is exactly what Jesus Christ did when He walked among us. He went to lost sheep of Israel. He went to the poor, the disadvantaged and those rejected by the religious elite of His day, turning unlearned men into great men of God, as Apostles of Christ. (See Acts 4:13) Jesus Christ saw the possibility by looking deep within their hearts knowing that He could mold them and make them into the kind of men that they were created to be.

So how does this apply to us living in the 21st Century? We see the divisions and may not only feel helpless to do anything about it, but actually join in with fault finding or making malicious attacks against those who believe differently than we do. I believe we have all been guilty of this at one time or another, especially on Social Media. It’s been all too easy to run with our own group. To run with those who agree with us. The world takes great pride in establishing their polls giving special significance to them if a large number of people feel the same way. However, even within these larger groups there still tends to be disagreements and divisions, with some espousing their own opinion. It’s even more problematic among religious groups because they tend to separate over theological interpretation creating an infinite number of secs within the greater Church. Furthermore, their fear of losing their perceived holiness often leads to a lack of love between the groups. Let’s be very clear about something, to love someone we totally disagree with, who does not conform to our moral compass or belief system, does not diminish our holiness. God is said to love the entire world and I firmly believe that His holiness is still intact. The Bible says, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). Clearly, we can and should love everyone while keeping our holiness intact. To do so will put us on the path that leads to perfection.

We must learn to look past all the confused and corrupt theology. To look past the gross immorality. To look beyond all the sin and hate. To look beyond the political position or party affiliation. To look past the fear of what they can do against us. To look at the heart of the other individual. To see the possibility of their redemption. That is exactly what the God of love did when He called you out of darkness to a marvelous light (See I Peter 2:9). We do not need to relax our morality to love others. In fact, we need it. We need the Law of God to show us how to love God and how to love one another. To obey His Law allows God to love others through us and puts us on the path to perfection. So, as we venture out of our comfort zone, not necessarily on Social Media, but in person, face to face we allow God to love others through us by following His beloved commandments. The Bible talks about being reconciled with our brother, agreeing with our adversary, turning the other cheek, giving to those who ask, and going the extra mile to name just a few (See the Sermon on the Mount). It talks about not resisting an evil person and in another place answering an individual with gentleness (See I Peter 3:15). The list could go on, but we have the Holy Spirit to guide us in building relationships outside our comfort zone always looking for an opportunity to rescue others in bondage to the enemy.

Dear friends, I cannot over emphasize the importance of allowing the Holy Spirit to lead us when we reach across the aisle to demonstrate our love, especially to an unbeliever or someone holding false Christian theology or to the person of a different world religion. We must maintain our righteousness even in the face of hostility always allowing God to lead. Only shake the dust off your feet and withdraw if we are led to do so. Do you want to be perfect in your obedience to Christ then utilize His Law to extend your Christian love to everyone you come into contact, without judging them? The Bible says, “If you really keep the royal law found in the Scripture, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself,’ you are doing right. But if you show favoritism, you sin and are convicted by the law as lawbreakers. For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it” (James 2:8-10). Dear children walk in obedience to the whole law and extend your love even to your enemy and you will be on the path that leads to perfection (See Matthew 5:43-44).

In conclusion, let me say that most people that are completely different than you and in need of your love are also in bondage to the enemy. The only way that they can escape their bondage is to hear the good news that Christ came to give them a new life in Him, where old things pass away and behold all things become new (see II Corinthians 5:17). The good news that they can overcome all of their emotional problems and even deal with the so-called psychological problems. In love they need to hear it’s much more than just a free ticket to eternal life or a life of rules and regulations. They need to hear about the joy and peace of the new life in Christ. If they can’t see it in you, they won’t believe that it exists. So, let me encourage you to get on the path to perfection today bringing God’s message to the world wrapped in love – love from the Father. Amen.

Looking at the Signs or at Your Walk?

Stop looking at the signs and start looking at your walk. So many in today’s world are obsessed at looking at the signs. From viewing one YouTube video after another to listening to every new false prophet that comes along, the Christian community is being forced further into captivity by the prince of darkness. Signs are important otherwise Christ would not have given them. Signs are like signpost that give directions and alerts us when we are close to our destination. To concentrate only on the signs and not the many other things necessary to be a good and safe driver would not only be foolish, but could end in tragedy. Well, it’s the same way when it comes to concentrating on the signs of Christ’s Second Coming and not on the many things it takes to be faithful followers of Christ. Yes, many things. So many things that Jesus Christ gave us the indwelling Spirit to remind us of everything He said and taught. The Bible says, “I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit, when he the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth…” (John 16:12-13a). So, stop looking constantly at the signs and pay attention to your driving. Stop obsessing on the signs of Christ’s return in Glory and let’s agree to spend more time in preparation for His arrival by listening to God through the Spirit. Without the Spirit, the Bible would not be discernible. It would be a nice history book and wise teachings from an ancient Teacher, but remiss of Spiritual power. The power necessary for spiritual growth and faithfulness to God.

Now, that I’ve got your attention let’s look briefly at some of the things we need to be concentrating. First, let’s get rid of all the old baggage that the enemy insists that you hang on to. The baggage the world says you can’t get rid of, no matter how hard you try, but what does God say? Remember, we are to listen to God. Not to the world and not to the enemy. The Bible, His Word, says that we, that is, believers in Christ, are made into a brand-new creation. Let’s read it together, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creation: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new” (II Corinthians 5:17). Wow! That means that all the old baggage belongs to the old life, not the new. So, to hold onto that old baggage, which no longer exists, either shows your lack of faith or calls God a liar. Friends, to walk in this new life is true freedom. Freedom from all the old sins, bad behavior, emotional and psychological hang-ups, and yes even all your old bad habits. Believing this is your first step in spiritual growth. Trust me, if you don’t believe this you will never get to the second step. And that my friend, is exactly where the lukewarm church is presently in their unbelief.

For you, I think better, so let’s move on to the second step. Put off the old, and put on the new life in-Christ. Sounds like two things, but it’s only one. These things must be done simultaneously, at the same time. The Apostle Paul gives us some wonderful examples in Scripture. Let’s look at them together. The Bible says, “Wherefore putting away lying, [Put off the old life] speak every man truth with his neighbor [Put on the new life]: for we are members one of another” (Ephesians 4:25). And then again, the Bible says, “Let him that stole steal no more: [Put off the old life] but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth” [Put on the new life] (Ephesians 4:28). And again, the Bible says, “Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, [Put off the old life] but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers [Put on the new life] (Ephesians 4:29). One last example, the Bible says, “Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: [Put off the old life] And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you” [Put on the new life] (Ephesians 4:31-32).

Now, like I said these are examples so let’s see if we can think of others. The point is when you stop an old bad behavior then replace it with a new good behavior. Yes, this works with your emotional and psychological hang-ups too. Most have to do with thinking and learned attitudes. For example, if I have always in the past allowed negative thinking to get me down to the point of being depressed, then I need to put that off, but at the same time I need to put on good positive thoughts along with prayer. Again, the Bible gives us some excellent things to put into our minds and think about. The Bible says, “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things” (Philippians 4:8). Trust me my friends, God gives us the power to control what we put into our minds. The world and the devil would like you to think differently.

So, you are already beginning to see it’s a full-time job being a Christian who wants to be prepared at Christ’s Second Coming.  So, are you ready for the third step? Service. Yes, I said service. It must be right in the beginning of our Christian pilgrimage. We must immediately start serving our new King, the Righteous King of glory, Jesus Christ. It’s so sad that the lukewarm church has never traveled this far. Sports and recreational events, potlucks and movies, along with many other social events would be hard pressed to qualify as truly serving the Lord, although they could. So how does God want us to serve Him. Along with the new life in-Christ comes immediately the Holy Spirit, our new Holy Resident. And when He comes, He does not come empty handed, but He comes bearing Gifts. Gifts of the Holy Spirit. I have taught many classes on how to know your Spiritual Gift and how to use it for God’s glory. I cannot overemphasize the importance of teaching all God’s children the use of their Spiritual Gifts for the health and wellbeing of the Church. And yes, we are the Church, which explains the weakness and worldliness of today’s churches. How valuable the Spiritual Gifts are in building up, encouraging, preaching, teaching, and admonishing one another in Christ. Not to mention the many other Spiritual Gifts to strengthen and grow God’s Holy Church. Therein is our true service to the Master.

There are other steps along the Way that we must all take, but these first steps are essential or you will never be ready to meet our Master coming in the clouds to collect His Beautiful Bride, the Church. This is how Christ is doing His part in preparing for that glorious Day, the Bible says, “Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; that he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish” (Ephesians 5:25b – 27). Now, once you are being made ready and concentrating on the important things of our Christian pilgrimage then only take a quick glance at the signs knowing He’s at the very door where every eye will see His glorious coming. I pray that all reading this will be ready when He comes. I will leave you with these Words from the Master. The Bible says, “Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven” (Matthew 7:21). Taking these initial steps, my friends, are God’s will for you, the Church. Amen

Three Great Powers to Overcome the Wiles of the Devil

The lukewarm church and the religious cult are both powerless to stand against the wiles of the devil. Both are missing the power of love, the power of forgiveness and the power of the resurrection – three great powers to overcome the wiles of the devil. Satan and the unclean spirits (or fallen angels) are incapable of overcoming these three great powers made manifest in God’s true children, the faithful remnant. This is good news for the end time saints who have witnessed the influence of Satan to capture so many in our day. Addiction to prescription drugs, both pain killers and psychiatric, have decimated the population leaving most under the control of demonic influence and the power of sin. A lukewarm church has done little in equipping the believers to stand against the wiles of the devil. The religious cult has robbed the believers of their power to stand against the trickery and deception of Satan. Psychiatry and the medical professionals are throwing different labels on people at the speed of light to explain their bizarre and unbelievable behavior. The world, the lukewarm church, and the religious cults are powerless to stand against the wiles of the devil. On the other hand, true believers have that power. The Immortal Message of Easter

On Easter morn, we are drawn back to the message of the Cross that all-encompassing will of God. We are catapulted beyond the simple historical message of Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection to the infinite heights of God’s will for our life in Christ Jesus. If we only see the historical event steeped in tradition then we have missed the message. In the Apostle Paul’s farewell message to the Ephesian elders he declared, “For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God” (Acts 20:27). And the starting place in this wonderful journey in understanding the whole will of God is by following the admonition of Christ to pick up our cross and follow Him. The Bible says, “And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me” (Luke 9:23). To pick up the cross means death. It simply cannot mean anything else. It is a conscious decision to follow Christ in His death by dying to self. As we enter the dark night of our soul we discover that everything of the old sin nature must die. Every vestige of pride must be nailed to the cross. Every glimmer of self-will must die with Christ. Through faith in Christ our death to self becomes a reality. Step by step we are able to put off the old life. Continue reading The Immortal Message of Easter
