You have read the Holy Scripture and heard the prophecies, which has cast most into denial or an elevated state of fear. Many of you have seen with your own eyes the increasing number of major earthquakes, catastrophic storms, seemingly endless heatwaves, and forest fires engulfing an entire continent. At times it seems like the world is coming apart with one disaster after another. Many of you have adopted your favorite prophecy, which attempts to give meaning to what’s currently happening in the world and what’s on the horizon. Some have believed that before things get too bad, they will be whisked away in a secret rapture, while others believe that they must endure the Great Tribulation to strengthen their faith and mold them into all godliness. Unfortunately, some believe that they can bring the Kingdom in by force through the political process and the institution of new laws. Their prophecy is summed up in bringing in the Christian Kingdom by force forcing everyone to obey. Contrary to what you believe, the truth is we are all going to die. Contrary to what you believe the heavens and the earth will pass away, perhaps sooner than you think. This could be your last warning. Continue reading This Could Be Your Last Warning
To miss what is going on in the world, we would need to be living in a bubble. Of course, as believers, we knew that this day would come when the whole world seems to be falling apart from horrific firestorms to unbelievably extreme temperatures and from unchecked lawlessness to the grossest of sexual perversions. Perhaps the worst for the true believer is to see so many fall away and embrace all the lies of the devil as if they were the gospel truth. It is enough to make you weep in great agony.
We Can Make Things Better
Perhaps the most dangerous lie is that we can make the world better through the political process. This has been a lie used many times throughout history raising up the Caesars, Napoleons, and Hitler’s promising to make things better, but in the end creating a cult-like mentality, which brought death and destruction to the world. This thinking of making things better through the political process is antithetical to the Way presented by Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Jesus Christ came to earth to show us a better way of truly making things better. The Christian way is through transformational change one person at a time. The heart and mind must be changed by putting off the old life and putting on the new life in Christ. The devil cares only about manipulating your heart and mind to believe his lies thus creating a cult-like mentality. He wants you to believe that forcing everyone through his new laws will cause them to align with his way, or your way of thinking, which will overcome the divisions, and establish a brave new world. This is a very dangerous and deceptive lie of the devil that will ingeniously target religious people who will be willing to follow him to hell and back. They will even proclaim him as some kind of saint or savior that will deliver the world from very evil and corrupt people. They may even proclaim that God has raised him to fix the world through the political process. Stop listening to the devil who can even disguise himself as an angel of light (II Corinthians 11:14). This will be the path that the dreaded Antichrist will take causing you to believe that he has your best interest at heart. This deception will be so strong that people will freely worship him as the savior of humanity believing that he alone will stop the wars, the outrageous lawlessness, and even the wrath of God as we had discussed earlier. Let’s stop listening to the devil’s lies and return to God’s way of real lasting change. Continue reading Seven Lies of the Devil – Part II
When the prophets stop prophesying it will be a dark day indeed. Although many will continue to prophesy from their own imaginations, it will not bring light to a dark world, it will only bring greater confusion. I have written about the coming Antichrist, the wiles of the devil, and the evolving Metaverse but nothing can really prepare humanity for the horrific days ahead. The prophecies in the book of Revelation have warned humanity for over two thousand years and it has only created greater confusion with one saying one thing and another saying something different. Yet, with spiritual eyesight, the book of Revelation is understood as a prophetic history methodically unfolding since the first century. The woes have unfolded, and all the trumpets have sounded from the beginning announcing the progression of each plague and woe poured out on unrepentant humanity. We have seen Antichrists arise in each age, some leading whole civilizations astray. We have witnessed the greatest wile of the devil, which has brought most of humanity into a lifetime of bondage to counseling and psychotropic drug addiction. This wile of the devil is also the first woe in the book of Revelation (Revelation 8:13-9:11), which I have explained in detail in my latest book, “God’s Loving Pursuit”. Most Christians are familiar with the two witnesses in the book of Revelation, even though they may prove to be an enigma. To help us understand their witness we need to listen to the angel that opened their eyes to the problem that will face the Church in each age from the First Century until now. The angel accomplished this by having the two witnesses do a couple of amazing things before they were allowed to witness. They must measure the community of the faithful who correctly worship their God and then measure everyone else who is not worshipping God correctly but is following the world (Revelation 11:1-2). This would be a wake-up call to the true condition of the Church. Almost from the beginning, they had lost their way as the Church integrated the world’s philosophies and teachings with God’s beautiful truth. False doctrine had entered the Church. These two witnesses, representative of all God’s faithful witnesses in every age, will continue to witness His beautiful truths to fallen humanity. They would also go to the heart of the problem and witness directly to the powers of darkness who were causing God’s children to stumble. They would carry God’s prophetic message to the world’s leaders and the many false prophets in every age since the time of Christ. Continue reading The Two Witnesses in Revelation
