As we near the end of another year our minds are focused on the future and what it will bring. We may even look back on what we and the world have gone through with a great deal of trepidation. Even a blind man could see the horrible consequences of a world gone mad. Many appear to be on the verge of insanity doing the unthinkable, while others have become slaves to their technology or the free flow of drugs to control the masses. Humanity is in a sad state of affairs as they are being pulled from pillar to post with every tick of the clock. Time has become the new master demanding its allegiance, which is casting humanity further and further into the depth of despair. There is one underlying problem that is leading humanity to self-annihilation. All the governments in the world cannot stop it. All the self helps, and drugs cannot stop it. All the technology and advanced artificial intelligence can’t stop it. Only one thing can, trust. We must learn, once again, how to trust in the loving providence of God. Unfortunately, most who call upon the Name of Jesus Christ are not living the fulfilled life. Most are controlled by their schedules, rushing from one event to another with little time to relax in between. Worry, anxiety, and stress have become so commonplace, that many don’t realize how much it is affecting their physical and mental health. They don’t realize that when people blow up in public that they have reached their breaking point. When this happens, they don’t understand that anxiety and stress have won the day and crushed another soul. These people are not living the fulfilled life in Christ. Are You Living the Fulfilled Life?
Unfortunately, most who call upon the Name of Jesus Christ are not living the fulfilled life. Most are controlled by their schedules, rushing from one event to another with little time to relax in between. Worry, anxiety, and stress have become so commonplace, that many don’t realize how much it is affecting their physical and mental health. They don’t realize that when people blow up in public that they have reached their breaking point. When this happens, they don’t understand that anxiety and stress have won the day and crushed another soul. These people are not living the fulfilled life in Christ. Most don’t realize that in the beginning technology was created to save us time and to be more productive. However, what we as a people have gained in productivity, we have lost tenfold, by leading us into a life of captivity to our devices. From morning till night many are glued to their cellphones and computer screens, not just for work, but for all of life. Schedules, alarms, notifications, popups, email, and text messages, continually pull us in one direction then another. Then whatever free time we thought we had, is now gobbled up by the ever-growing social medial platforms, all competing for your time, your money, and your soul. Are You Prepared for the World’s Greatest Disaster?
The world’s greatest disaster looms on the horizon like a grizzly bear awakening from his hibernation. It’s certain, it’s going to happen, we need to be ready. The time is short. Everything is pointing in that direction. The weather is getting more extreme producing more powerful and violent storms, earthquakes are increasing in number and severity, global epidemics are more plausible, the aggressiveness between competing ideologies is turning violent and the mad man in the East continues to threaten the United States homeland by launching a nuclear strike. The instability in the world today beckons for us to prepare. But how should we prepare? Preparing physically with the best laid plans for survival simply will not be enough to stand firm. It’s essential that we prepare not only physically, but emotionally, psychologically, and spiritually. To do so will not only help us to survive a global disaster, but it will also help us to overcome the great deception, coming on the heels of a major disaster.
