Are You Prepared for the World’s Greatest Disaster?

The world’s greatest disaster looms on the horizon like a grizzly bear awakening from his hibernation. It’s certain, it’s going to happen, we need to be ready. The time is short. Everything is pointing in that direction. The weather is getting more extreme producing more powerful and violent storms, earthquakes are increasing in number and severity, global epidemics are more plausible, the aggressiveness between competing ideologies is turning violent and the mad man in the East continues to threaten the United States homeland by launching a nuclear strike. The instability in the world today beckons for us to prepare. But how should we prepare? Preparing physically with the best laid plans for survival simply will not be enough to stand firm. It’s essential that we prepare not only physically, but emotionally, psychologically, and spiritually. To do so will not only help us to survive a global disaster, but it will also help us to overcome the great deception, coming on the heels of a major disaster.

When tragedy strikes emotions will run very high among the world’s population. Although some people are more emotional than others, let’s be clear, we are all emotional beings. Trust me any kind of catastrophe will bring this out. Our goal will be to not allow our emotions to cloud our judgment or interfere with our thinking. It is well documented that overly emotional people in a crises situation don’t fare well. As statues, they become frozen in time, unable to move and unable to make the simplest of decisions. Some will begin to cry and not stop for a long time, while others are overcome by panic believing that they will be consumed by the dark forces of nature or the savagery of unchecked lawlessness.

When faced with disaster of any kind we must move on. It may be the most difficult thing you have ever done, because it may mean leaving something behind, something we are unwilling to part with, something we don’t have in our power to change. As we cry out to God, which every believer should do, it will help us come to grips with the reality of our situation and follow through with our plans or the new plans that He gives us. Embracing our spiritual dimension is extremely helpful. As Christians, we have been taught early on to care for the needs of others above our own needs (See Philippians 2:4). As we move away from our own selfish needs and desires by focusing on the needs of others the stronger we become emotionally. And the stronger we become emotionally in a crisis the easier it is to stand firm in our beliefs and not be led astray by the powers of deception.

Now we turn our attention to being prepared psychologically. This too will parallel closely to our spirituality. If we are depressed, anxious, or have any other number of psychological problems we will not be prepared to stand firm. Dear friend, let’s be clear, people who are depressed or suffer from other psychological problems will not stand firm against the world’s greatest disaster. Most will be easily deceived and led astray, because of their dependence upon psychiatric drugs. If a catastrophe interrupts their supply of psychiatric drugs it will cause most to turn entirely inward to their own selfish desires or supposed needs driving them into further despair and becoming even more unstable.

This will cause a great deal of problems in a world that’s already dealing with a global disaster. When millions of people, some in your own neighborhood, become unhinged causing havoc among the world’s population trust me it won’t be a pretty sight. Many will be suffering withdrawals for suddenly coming off their medication that will increase suicides, mayhem, and even violent attacks. Christian we need not be counted among that number. I would say it’s past time for those who call upon the Name of the Lord to start depending on God alone, who has promised to give us everything we need for life and godliness (See II Peter 1:3). I have written books, produced videos, and written a series of articles on two websites to show believers that we have biblical counsel to help us to overcome our psychological problems thus having no need for their prescribed psychiatric drugs. To stand firm during the greatest tragedy to ever strike the planet we must be psychologically prepared.

Finally, we turn our attention to being prepared Spiritually. Each of us who have had their names already written in the Lamb’s Book of Life are at different places in our spiritual maturity. There are some foundational doctrines that must be fully implemented into the believer’s life regardless of whatever stage of spiritual development you are at. It’s these things we will now concentrate on in our study, because without them standing firm will be most difficult, if not impossible. The first foundational stone is having a right appropriation of Biblical fear. As tragedy strikes fear will grip the world to such an extent that mass suicides and pandemonium will be common place. Fear will drive people to horde, to steal, and to kill for their own self-preservation. Lawlessness will prevail until the world government brings back order along with the great deception to cause the entire world to follow its new laws and to show allegiance to those in power.

The Christian early on has developed godly fear knowing that God is really in control and will not allow us, His beloved children, to be tested beyond what we can handle (See I Corinthians 10:13). Furthermore, He will give us the words to speak if we are brought before those in power. For the believer, he has learned long ago that we should not fear man, and what he can do against the body, but rather fear God alone, who has the power to throw us into the eternal flames of hell (See Matthew 10:28). As believers, we have also learned from Christian history how the early Christians overcame fear during their time of great persecution. We have learned that they stood before their persecutors with real love in their heart, for the one doing the deed, casting out all manner of fear. The Bible says, “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear; because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love” (I John 4:18).

The second foundational stone is having a right appropriation of Biblical providence. As the greatest disaster ever strikes the planet, the believer knows in his heart that God is not asleep on the throne. He knows what’s happening. In fact, He has known about it since the foundations of the world before time began. Jesus Christ as the Alpha and Omega has known about this day since the beginning and as the Messiah spoke forth this prophecy when He walked amongst us. Well, if He has known about it then He has made provision to bring us through it; to providentially take care of His beloved children. Do you believe that? I hope so, because it is this biblical truth of providence that will see you through this very perilous time.

To put ourselves intentionally into harm’s way by resting only on the fact that we are under God’s providential care is to put Him to the test. Remember, Jesus Christ rebuked Satan concerning this when He said, “It is written: ‘Do not put the Lord your God to the test.’ (See Matthew 4:5-7),” Thank God that He has given all His children sound minds and wisdom from above to make intelligent decisions in the time of crisis. We must always seek that wisdom from God prior to making decisions or developing plans. To do so will assure us that we are resting under, and following His providential plan for our life and the life others in our care.

In summary, we must be prepared physically, emotionally, psychologically, and spiritually if we hope to stand firm during the World’s Greatest Disaster. Let me suggest that you tuck this little article away somewhere and refer to it again when the time comes. I am not sure how much internet we will have at the time or much of anything else. God willing, I will try to keep my websites up as long as possible spreading the truth and helping the faithful remnant to survive. I will continue to broadcast the truth praying that it will help all His children from being led astray by the powerful delusion that will descend upon the planet. I believe that we are already seeing seeds of that deception. Lord give us eyes to see. Of course, none of this will do you any good if you have not accepted Jesus Christ as both Lord and Savior. But that can change: believe that He is the divine Son of God who died on the Cross and on the third day was raised from the dead and is now seated in heaven. Repent of your sins and ask Jesus Christ for forgiveness so that you can be made into a new creation. This will be your first step towards preparation, for the world’s greatest disaster.

What’s Impeding Your Faith?

The Bible says, “Nevertheless, when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth (Luke 18:8b).” The answer is not a lot for most in the later days will allow many things to impede their faith. Although there will be a faithful remnant, I am sure that their faith will be mocked by the world. It will seem inconsistent with reason and against all the established norms of a pagan world. Unlike the faithless who had long given up their faith, they will continue to cry out day and night for God to vindicate them by righteously judging their oppressors. They will continue to cry out asking God to fulfill all His promises, especially the one that does not allow them to be tempted beyond what they can handle (See I Corinthians 10:13). Over the course of time they have learned well the things that impede their faith, being careful to resist them at every point. So, what are these things that impede our faith? The Crucible of Brotherly Love

We all know that the hallmark of true Christianity is love. Love for God and love for our fellow man and especially for our brother or sister in Christ. Jesus Christ was our greatest example of this kind of love. He fought against the vicious wolves of His day who were destroying the sheep with their human traditions and false doctrine. He stood toe to toe with them not to win an argument, but to protect those who were put into His care by the Heavenly Father. For the sake of the sheep He confronted the blind guides, He argued against the established order, and exposed their dangerous doctrines that kept people in bondage to their human traditions. His love was so great that He healed the sick, cured horrible diseases, made whole the lame, restored eyesight to the blind, and drove out demons that were holding people in bondage. His love was so great for all of His followers that He spent many hours every day teaching the truth about life and liberty. Not only did He want to restore the broken bodies and free their minds from their enslavement to the devil, but He also wanted them to experience the new life – a bountiful life free from anxiety and the stresses of everyday life. Finally, He paid the ultimate price by offering His life as an atoning sacrifice for all those who believe. His love did not stop there, but He made good on His promise to send the Comforter to lead His followers into all truth by reminding them of all that He taught them concerning the new life.  He counted the cost and fulfilled His mission. Being Sealed Produces Hope

Our article today is called “Being Sealed Produces Hope.” Has anyone noticed that we live in a hopeless generation? As the Doomsday clock clicked two minutes closer to Midnight most wonder if they will survive the coming distress. As the world ponders an increase in global disasters, a nuclear holocaust, worldwide persecution of Christians, or a pandemic the civilization is left with little hope. Anxiety has reached an all-time high. Many are hoping that they will escape the clutches of fanatical terrorist or the terror of evil gangsters roaming our inner-cities. Gun sales have skyrocketed. Many are hoping for financial independence to pay more than the monthly minimum payment, freedom from dependence on the State and its welfare rolls, and the ability to feed and clothe their family. Yet, total dependence upon the State to provide assistance is on the increase. Many others hope for a good marriage that will last, while co-habitation has become the standard. Others hope that they can escape their bondage to the multitude of emotional and psychological problems, yet every day more enter into bondage to worldly counseling and psychiatric drug addiction. The tragedy is that most will not hope beyond what they can see or touch. We live in a hopeless generation! Continue reading Being Sealed Produces Hope

The Apostasy Exposed

At the last Trumpet, the coming of Christ, and the last Judgment many tears will be shed over the words plainly spoken by the Lord, I never knew you, away from me you evildoers! (See Matthew 7:23) In the twinkling of an eye the apostasy will be exposed, the veil will be removed, and millions will realize that they had fallen away. What a horrible day that will be. In the Spirit I can hear the cries of anguish and the heart stopping screams of those who proclaim their innocence. Even their good works could not save them.  How could they not be “known” by the Lord? How could they be so blind to the truth? Yet, we now live in a day where millions are unwilling to see their true condition. They have somehow tricked their mind into believing they are known by the Lord, but have become a part of the great apostasy. To shed light on the apostasy we need to take you back to the beginning. We need to go back to a time before social programs, public education, mental health professionals, and a proliferation of drugs engineered to solve every emotional and psychological problem known to man. We need to return to a simple time when Jesus Christ was all things to all men. He came to a hurting people ravaged by a host of wickedness casting people into deep emotional and psychological problems causing bouts of erratic behavior, physical mayhem, and in extreme cases demonic possession. He came to a people hungry not only for bread but for the bread of life as they stumbled aimlessly behind their religious leaders. Their blind guides where leading them into a pit of greater confusion causing them to put their trust in hollow and deceptive philosophies, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world. (See Colossians 2:8) On the other hand, Jesus Christ came proclaiming that they should put their trust in Him alone to lead them into a new everlasting life free from the heavy weight of their captivity.
