The Lukewarm Church is Blinded by The World (Video)

When did we stop trusting God? When did we stop trusting Him to really make us into a new creation and then to grow us from one degree of glory to another (See II Corinthians 5:17; 3:18)? The Lukewarm Church is Blinded by The World

When did we stop trusting God? When did we stop trusting Him to really make us into a new creation and then to grow us from one degree of glory to another (See II Corinthians 5:17; 3:18)? Perhaps it all started when the world turned its back on God and then discovered very quickly that humanity was in trouble. Why were they in trouble? There was no longer a moral anchor and humanity began to drift into a greater sea of immorality. Many tried desperately to reign in terror and gross immorality with new laws and mandates, but everything failed. As churches emptied and immorality increased fallen humanity needed a solution and they needed it quick. So, in time they resurrected some old theories of a pagan writer who lived a few centuries earlier; someone who thought he understood human nature. Then with the experimentation of new drugs, seemingly to affect behavior, and this new science of mental health, then the art of modern psychology was born. So, humanity no longer needed God to direct their path and provide them a moral anchor, because a new quasi religion had arrived on the scene to solve all the problems of fallen humanity. So how does all this affect the lukewarm church? Continue reading The Lukewarm Church is Blinded by The World

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 11/13/2019

Good morning Heavenly Father. As we approach closer to the end of time and your coming in the clouds, we have many things that run through our minds. Uppermost is standing firm against the lies and deception so that we are not led astray in our beliefs. Also, we think about the sudden increase in lawlessness as people are no longer controlled by what’s right and wrong but are prone to all kinds of violence against one another. Security systems and personal weapons are becoming even more popular among the average citizen to protect themselves and their families. However, there is another area in which we must prepare as your beloved children; an area not often thought about in civilized countries of the West. How do we react to the governing authorities when they violate our God-given rights by instituting new laws or ordinances? That would nullify our security systems and weapons leaving us at their mercy. Without fighting back as the heathen, we pray that you give us wisdom and strength to stand our ground and not deny our most sacred beliefs. We pray this in the Most Holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord’s sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme; Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well” (I Peter 2:13-14).

PRAYERS FOR THE LAST WEEK,  IN CASE YOU MISSED ONE

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 11/12/2019

Good morning Heavenly Father. Oh Lord, we pray that all your beloved children living in the last days would adopt this passage of Scripture, “Honor all men, love the brotherhood, fear God, and honor the king” (or President) as a motto. We pray that we will put this motto deep within our hearts and upon our lips, demonstrating to a fallen world the power of our transformation in Christ. We pray that we will demonstrate that our recognition and fear of the one true God is humanity’s only hope for survival. Let us learn how to honor all men, especially our national leaders showing proper respect and courtesy even if we disagree with their principles and unacceptable behavior, proved or unproven. We pray that we will openly and unashamedly fear you, our God, by trusting in all Your promises, clearly articulated for all to understand, by obeying all your commands, especially those rejected in our society, and by listening to your voice through the indwelling Spirit. Finally, lead us to always love everyone in the brotherhood contrary to their level of maturity or their outward behavior. We pray this in the Holy Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Honor all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king” (I Peter 2:17).

Good morning Heavenly Father. We pray dear Lord that you show us this morning what constitutes true friendship. We have seen many who desire our friendship but they neither give nor do they receive. Perhaps they are like what some would call a “window friend” or simply an imaginary friend. On the other hand, we want to thank you for those friends who stick closer to us than our own brother or “flesh and blood.” We thank you, Lord, for those true friends who not only listen to and share our thoughts but also share their plans, their hidden thoughts, and their most sacred beliefs. We thank you, Lord Jesus, for demonstrating true friendship by becoming our friend, by not keeping us in the dark but disclosing to us your magnificent plans and by walking with us through the indwelling Spirit. Thank you, Lord, for showing us that making many friends that are nothing more than “window friends” or like some Facebook friends are destructive to the things we hold most dear. Let us choose our friends wisely in an age of deception and false prophets. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“He that maketh many friends doeth it to his own destruction; But there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother” (Proverbs 18:24, ASV).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 11/10/2019

Good morning Heavenly Father. As we come humbly into your presence today, Oh Lord, we ask that you continue to condition our behavior so that we are more like you and less like the world. We know it doesn’t take long for the evil world to teach its children every conceivable sin. Then as children become adults their sinful behavior is so deeply entrenched, it’s difficult for them to see their many trespasses. In time their sinful habits consume their lives destroying both their health physically and psychology. Their stress, anxiety, and depression so control their lives, they are unable to experience any lasting peace or joy. We pray for all those who call upon your Name to humble themselves as little children allowing you to transform their lives and to unlearn their bad behavior. We pray that they will jettison their explosive temper, their outrageous pride, their unchecked fleshly desires, and become once again like little children. Help them, Oh Lord, to put their trust in you once again as little children, allowing you alone to mold them and remake them into your perfect image. We pray this in the mighty Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein” (Luke 18:17).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 11/9/2019

Good morning Heavenly Father. We know now, we simply cannot pray with the door open to our prayer closet. With the door open our minds are flooded with all the changing beliefs, all the senseless rhetoric, and all the false prophecies in the world. Everyone is speaking but only a few have discovered the truth that’s only available to us in the prayer closet, with the door shut. Even our Bibles are indiscernible without your Spirit to interpret its meaning free from all the false interpretations engineered by the powers of darkness. We pray that all your beloved children will take their Holy Scriptures into their prayer closet with the door shut, allowing you to bring forth the true interpretation through the indwelling Spirit. We pray that they would learn to shut their minds completely to the fallen world and open them up to You alone through the indwelling Spirit. With the door shut it brings forth the greatest rewards of being in your presence and also seeing your Words confirmed by others in the faithful remnant. There is only one Spirit and only one truth. We pray this in the blessed Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly” (Matthew 6:6).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 11/8/2019

Good morning Heavenly Father. As we enter our prayer closet this morning, we have these three powerful words running through our minds, faith, hope, and love. Thank you, Lord Jesus, for confirming that it’s these three powerful graces that will help us to stand firm in the coming days. As your soldiers for Christ, we pray that we will always fight the good fight of faith by standing firm in the whole truth with no mixture of error, as a breastplate against the flaming arrows of the evil one. We pray that everything we do and say will be tempered with the grace of self-giving love. As the world rages at one another in heated rhetoric, we pray that all our words would build others up and not tear them down. As the fallen world takes from one another, let us freely give all things in Your Name. As earthquakes increase, divisions in governments abound, and men’s hearts begin to fail them, let us lift up our step and raise up our voices with the hope of our salvation guarding our minds with our celestial helmet. We pray this in the mighty Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for a helmet, the hope of salvation” (I Thessalonians 5:8).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 11/7/2019

Good morning Heavenly Father. Thank you, Lord Jesus, for teaching us that to do anything right, we must be sober and in the Spirit. We recognize that there are many things in this fallen world that’s designed, by the enemy, to keep us out of the Spirit and drunk on passion, lust, and self-absorption. Along with a mired of other obsessions, most are being led by the nose from one-time consuming activity to another. It’s rather difficult to see how anyone can continually scroll on Social Media or sit in front of the TV and remain in the Spirit. We pray that all of your beloved children will stay awake and not be consumed by the passions of this world. We pray that we will stay awake by walking in the Spirit at all times allowing us to see the spiritual decline in the world and allowing us to see the increase in demonic activity capturing the souls of fallen humanity. It’s those things alone, not even considering your wrath now coming upon the world, that convinces us, in the Spirit, that your coming is at hand. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober” (I Thessalonians 5:6).

Prayers by Rev. Daniel W. Blair 11/6/2019

Good morning Heavenly Father. We thank you, Lord, for when you translated us from darkness to light the path before us is so much brighter. We do not cower like the pagan who trembles at every little event. We are assured of victory through our blessed salvation. Although the course ahead might be somewhat difficult, it will not break us or destroy us. Thank you, Father, for making us children of light through faith, for we are not destined for wrath as are the children of darkness, who will and who are currently reaping the consequences of their own sins. As fallen humanity slumbers and falls in defeat, we pray that your beloved children will raise their heads high and yell forth the battle cry of victory as we await your glorious and triumphant return from heaven. We pray that your children will not fear the things to come as the pagans do, but as we approach the end let our light shine even brighter with the hope of our coming victory. As the chaff fall beside us in defeat, let us arise as new people in Christ. We pray this in the Name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

“For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ” (I Thessalonians 5:9).
