Every true believer in Christ should prepare for the journey beyond this life, even when we don’t know when it will be. We all know that the journey must come, either at our death or at the coming of the Lord. We also know, if we are honest, it can come at any time, in the twinkling of an eye. We will all make the journey. We will all go to a place to be judged in God’s predetermined time, but only God’s elect children will continue making their journey to the gates of heaven. Only the ones who have been chosen since the foundations of the world will be welcomed into paradise (Ephesians 1:4). Make no mistake, only God’s chosen children will have a deep indescribable desire to prepare for the journey. It is our responsibility to help God’s children to prepare now. We should not take this responsibility lightly. Let us all roll up our sleeves and get to work. If you throw this article down and have no interest in preparing for the journey, then you will be most pitted amongst God’s creation and you will have a most difficult time proving your election. The lies of the devil have caused most of the problems in our world today. It’s not just the lies, but the fact that so many of the world’s population actually believe the lies. Have you ever wondered why there is such an increase in emotional and psychological problems? It’s reported in 2014 that 91% of the population would seek a mental health professional if they had a problem. Have you ever wondered why there is such an increase in drug addiction? It’s also reported that in the same year that 8 million Americans battled both drug addiction and a mental health disorder concurrently. Perhaps the most alarming statistic to me was the increased numbers in suicide globally. According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Worldwide, 800,000 people die due to suicide every year, according to the World Health Organization. The shocking fact is the Church is not exempt from these problems. Psychological problems, drug addiction and suicide are caused primarily from listening to the lies of the devil. Are You Prepared for the World’s Greatest Disaster?
The world’s greatest disaster looms on the horizon like a grizzly bear awakening from his hibernation. It’s certain, it’s going to happen, we need to be ready. The time is short. Everything is pointing in that direction. The weather is getting more extreme producing more powerful and violent storms, earthquakes are increasing in number and severity, global epidemics are more plausible, the aggressiveness between competing ideologies is turning violent and the mad man in the East continues to threaten the United States homeland by launching a nuclear strike. The instability in the world today beckons for us to prepare. But how should we prepare? Preparing physically with the best laid plans for survival simply will not be enough to stand firm. It’s essential that we prepare not only physically, but emotionally, psychologically, and spiritually. We have all heard the doomsday prophets. We have all heard about the coming tribulation. We have all heard about a coming world war, a meteor falling from the sky, or a worldwide pandemic, but what we haven’t heard is what’s happening now. Very little is spoken about the trials and tribulations that’s effecting the world right now, where most are facing very tragic circumstances beyond what they can handle or in a life of bondage stripping them of all hope. The struggles are great. Many wonder how much more can they handle. Fear has gripped the world. Islamic terrorism, murders, riots, regional wars, and natural disasters are only the tip of the iceberg on what’s really effecting humanity.
