The Silent Majority Needs to Stop Being Silent (Video)

For years we have heard about the silent majority and I have wondered as of late why must they remain silent. It’s reported that President Nixon first used the term back in the sixties. Then another popular term arose ten years later called the moral majority, which I might add, has also remained silent. On the other hand, it is the fringe groups of heathenisms that we hear the most about, leading many to think that they are the majority. Well, they are not! So, it’s past time! The silent majority needs to stop being silent. A very wise person once said, “It’s far easier to kill a terrorist than to slay an ideology …”. What we are fighting and need to raise our voice about is education, because an ideology is built and maintained with education. This has been proved time and again …

The Silent Majority Needs to Stop Being Silent

This has been proved time and again by teaching young children to hate the enemies of the host country, allowing the cycle of hatred to continue for years. What can we do to let our voices be heard above the crowd? More importantly, can our voices bring about change before it’s too late? With God’s guidance we will attempt to answer these two questions. Coming Now! No Escape from Tribulation

We have all heard the doomsday prophets. We have all heard about the coming tribulation. We have all heard about a coming world war, a meteor falling from the sky, or a worldwide pandemic, but what we haven’t heard is what’s happening now. Very little is spoken about the trials and tribulations that’s effecting the world right now, where most are facing very tragic circumstances beyond what they can handle or in a life of bondage stripping them of all hope. The struggles are great. Many wonder how much more can they handle. Fear has gripped the world. Islamic terrorism, murders, riots, regional wars, and natural disasters are only the tip of the iceberg on what’s really effecting humanity. Humanity is about to explode and there is nothing they can do about it. We can blame it on the current administration or many other things such as global warming, but the real blame is much deeper than what most will admit. Continue reading Coming Now! No Escape from Tribulation

The Immortal Message of Easter

On Easter morn, we are drawn back to the message of the Cross that all-encompassing will of God. We are catapulted beyond the simple historical message of Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection to the infinite heights of God’s will for our life in Christ Jesus. If we only see the historical event steeped in tradition then we have missed the message. In the Apostle Paul’s farewell message to the Ephesian elders he declared, “For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God” (Acts 20:27). And the starting place in this wonderful journey in understanding the whole will of God is by following the admonition of Christ to pick up our cross and follow Him. The Bible says, “And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me” (Luke 9:23). To pick up the cross means death. It simply cannot mean anything else. It is a conscious decision to follow Christ in His death by dying to self. As we enter the dark night of our soul we discover that everything of the old sin nature must die. Every vestige of pride must be nailed to the cross. Every glimmer of self-will must die with Christ. Through faith in Christ our death to self becomes a reality. Step by step we are able to put off the old life. Continue reading The Immortal Message of Easter

The Crucible of Brotherly Love

We all know that the hallmark of true Christianity is love. Love for God and love for our fellow man and especially for our brother or sister in Christ. Jesus Christ was our greatest example of this kind of love. He fought against the vicious wolves of His day who were destroying the sheep with their human traditions and false doctrine. He stood toe to toe with them not to win an argument, but to protect those who were put into His care by the Heavenly Father. For the sake of the sheep He confronted the blind guides, He argued against the established order, and exposed their dangerous doctrines that kept people in bondage to their human traditions. His love was so great that He healed the sick, cured horrible diseases, made whole the lame, restored eyesight to the blind, and drove out demons that were holding people in bondage. His love was so great for all of His followers that He spent many hours every day teaching the truth about life and liberty. Not only did He want to restore the broken bodies and free their minds from their enslavement to the devil, but He also wanted them to experience the new life – a bountiful life free from anxiety and the stresses of everyday life. Finally, He paid the ultimate price by offering His life as an atoning sacrifice for all those who believe. His love did not stop there, but He made good on His promise to send the Comforter to lead His followers into all truth by reminding them of all that He taught them concerning the new life.  He counted the cost and fulfilled His mission.
